Those pastures/hay fields are greening up really nice. I'm hoping you get enough hay again this year to carry through the winter. Nice looking bull too. He's gonna be a brute for sure.
Max is a good name for your new bull. He certainly has the paperwork to show that he can get the job done. As they say, "Time will tell." All the best for a great result. 😊
Welcome Max to OWL family. Great job Mike and Jeff. We use RFID tags in our sheep and use Gallagher system for recording weight birth leaving the farm. I love the wand to record with heck of a lot easier then reading the other half's scribbles. Everything from Gallagher system plugs in computer. Half the freaking paperwork for me.😃😃😃
Mike, great job as always. As a guy that hauls cattle for a living , I have been to alot of Ranches both large and small. One thing the majority have in common is a roof over thier squeeze chute. Thought it might be a nice idea for the Project List. Be good yall , cus there ain't no feeling like cow mobiling
Max appears fairly well behaved for a bull. The pastures are looking so nice after the spring rains and everyone should be happy out there. I don't remember you showing/talking about putting on the RFID tags before so I guess that makes two of us.
I really love watching your videos because on my family Farm we do cow/calf operation. I don't get to go to the family Farm very often because I live in a different state. We have red Angus bulls to breed our Cows and Heifers. I go to the family Farm over Labor Day weekend while my dad does his fantasy football stuff
Great looking bull. Seems to have good genetics by the numbers you said. Now it's just wait and see how well of a job he actually does. Thanks for sharing another adventure with us. Jeff still climbs those gates pretty quickly if needed...lol. Have a great week and as always, be safe.
Max is a good name. and it's nice to see him getting acquainted with the girls right away.. nice tagging system you got there Mike! Hopefully the calves next year will be the avg weight and size...
Welcome Max to OWL. He is a very good looking fellow. Another informative video. And your tag board is very creative. And love the Silver Fox, Jeff. Looks to be a great for making hay there. The ranches here in Southern Oklahoma have been cutting and making bales this past week. God Bless from Southern Oklahoma.
Mike, love the name of the new bull. I had a gsd named Max also. He got his first title by 9 months of age. Then I took him to Canada and he got his TITLE AT the age of 11 months. His registered name was Fairfield's Maximum Choice. The bull is really nice looking. Best of luck with him. God bless.
Nice looking stock. Once again the green wall of safety in action, no one gets hurt. That Arrowquip is just amazing. Thanks for sharing, Mike and Jeff.
Thanks for sharing another great video and see the bull name Max 😊 he will be a hand full. ❤Mike and all others stay safe❤see tou next time on Our Wyoming Life😊😊have a bless week❤😊
Good looking Bull!!! You guys might want to invest in P.F. flyers ( black hi-top ) 🤭 I hope that next year is better for your Ranch with Calving. Everything looks super good, cows, calves and the pasture👍👍👍
I like how you call the heifers kids Mike ! Lolol makes my day! I've been following your channel for a few years now and it never gets old! Keep up the great work! 😉😉😉😉😉
Very interesting how you can tag and use the round thing to follow each one as they grow and years go by. Max is a nice looking bull. Yes Jeff the swing gate stopped a kick that could have been nasty to you. Enjoyed the video. Cows are my favorite to be around. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations on the new bull. He’s a good looking young man. Hope he settles down & mellows out, looks a bit onrey, hopefully is just from being moved & new environment. Sure is nice to see there is tall dark green lush grass & water in the tanks this late spring! I know it’s a huge relief for you & Erin.
Well, Max looks nice, being so young will give you plenty of years to gain some new bloodline. Good luck with all of the up and coming hay season, I hope you get some good rains along the way. Thanks Mike, have a great day and rest of week.
Nice to see the green grass and water in those low spots / ponds. I chuckle every time I hear that "come on kids". Wow, like that rfid tag. LOL, funniest ding dongs I ever saw. LOL. In that kind of situation, better to have over do than under done. Thanks.
So great you have green fields. Your overdue a great hay harvest. I hope the store expands greens leading to a commercial fodder system in a semi trailer. Hope the camp is full, shop busy on line demand is high.
Our wyoming life I am happy that you guys are getting moisture we are dry here and I am happy that we are and I am so happy that you guys have moisture you guy's deserved it I hope you have a great week and nice new bull
This was an excellent video. Your pastures look amazing. Max is a nice looking young bull who I am sure can get the job done, even though he was laying down on the job lol. All markers point to some fine looking progeny. Congratulations
Our wyoming life nice looking bull and cows I bet the hayfield are doing really good are you going to measure the hay yields and I hope you have a great week
That's good! I've been on my test all day on to he floor of my office. I've been going through boxes , organizing and throwing crap away. Made a huge mess that isn't cleaned up yet but I'm tired!
Are you loosing weight? I do hope you are ok. You are so good as checking out the cattle, don't forget to get yourself checked out too. The pastures look beautiful so green and with the puff ball clouds it looks gorgeous. Looks like you have some rain forecast for the weekend. Please send some on for us, we are very short of water here in the UK.
At least you don't have to call this bull "Mad Max". I think the Ladies are going to really like him - love is in the air. The green pastures are a real Blessing to see!
Welcome to the Ranch Max🎉nice looking bill. Hopefully he does a good job and calving is easier next year with the yearlings. Pastures look great. I love your ranch and the animals❤ God Bless
That new bull looks good I hope that he gets the job done for you Mike. I will be patiently waiting for the 30 in 30 to see how he does. But nice bull!! 👌
Those pastures/hay fields are greening up really nice. I'm hoping you get enough hay again this year to carry through the winter. Nice looking bull too. He's gonna be a brute for sure.
Appreciate that Mike.

Thanks RD.
I also want to add how beautiful that green grass looks now. So happy you guys are out of the drought.
Thanks for watching Stacey.

I dont mind anything that lowers the amount of paper work.

I have learned so much from this channel. I’m a city girl from California, bit always up to learning about ranching life. ❤
Am so loving the green Wyoming!! It’s the best look on her. Now if the wind doesn’t blow all that great moisture away!
Nice to see the fields green
I totally agree Ruth!

Real thankful for that Janes! Not much worse than having to deal with a crazy bull. Thanks for watching.
Up in Alberta actually I think all of canada we have to have the RFID tags to be able to sell our cows/calves. They are a handy tools like you said.
Where did Max come from? May have missed it. Be cool to see a Sonne Farms bull do right for Our Wyoming Life.
It's nice to see mud on the ranch! Sure beats hauling water!
