I have really bad arthritis in my feet. Started walking gradually up to 3-4 miles a day about 6 months ago. I looooove my Hokas!!!! U won’t regret your purchase. The best shoe ever! And I’ve tried many through the years. Loved them so much, I bought my husband a pair and my teenage grandson. My daughter in law who’s in nursing school also bought 3 pairs. 😊 We all are hooked.
I would recommend trying the Hoka shoes on. There is a big difference between the styles within the brand (ie, Bondi, Clifton, etc).. I love mine, but unfortunately they are not the style that’s on sale with Nordstrom😀
I'm a nurse with over 25 years of experience... and 25 years of wear and tear and my feet. After having 6 procedures on my feet total (3 separate surgeries, the last involving 3 different procedures), I switched to Hoka shoes as they were the only ones that didn't rub against my diagonal incision over my entire top of my foot. I've stayed with them for the comfort and durability. They're worth every penny to me even though they're expensive. I actually have had my last two pairs last me over a year (almost unheard of for me with the amount of time I'm on my feet!). Please do yourself a favor and get a pair!
I work in healthcare too and I’ve seen several brands used a lot here. Have you tried brooks or on clouds to give an opinion on those versus the hokas? I’m currently in the brooks.
My daughter got me a pair for Mother’s Day as I always get a back ache when walking. Not anymore. I will always have a Hoka pair in my closet from here on out. Plus it’s like walking on a cloud!, love them so much
Omg your brothers dogs are the cutest! 😍 I have sooo many luggage pieces from Beis and I will say that their customer service is amazing! One of the pockets on the inside of my roller suitcase ripped, and they sent me out a whole new one. I believe there’s a limited lifetime warranty on their roller luggage at least. That new glossy pink color is sooo pretty too 😍 can’t wait to see what you decide to pick up!
I have the Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt & I also have the Dossier impression of said scent. And, I actually like the Dossier version so much more! JM scents disappear on me within an hour or less. Dossier not only lasts longer but also I get compliments when I wear their version. Go figure! ❤
I LOVE the Beis luggage. Just know the Beis roller carry on doesn’t meet a lot of airlines in cabin size requirements but generally fits in the overhead as long as you don’t use the extender. I have flown with it on frontier and American Airlines and haven’t had any issues but if you use the extender know it might get flagged. Besides that it’s great quality, super cute and really thoughtfully made for travel needs. I really love their makeup bags too. Would highly recommend
I love my Nike 270's I have two pair but, I wouldn't recommend for walking long term outside. They can put a lot of stress on the back of your legs. I can hardly wear to my retail pharmacy job because of the long standing hours. I would probably go with the HOKA's

I love my Mach 5 and bondi 8 .. I wear my Mach 5 the most and going to grab 2 more pairs while on sale . I am in healthcare and wear these daily over 10 hrs on my feet and totally amazing ❤❤ these ones are a must ! Seriously try them ..

I used to over buy the Nordstrom sale….a lot of buy just to buy. I am much more selective now. I was able to shop online last night at 9 p.m. PST. Picked up a couple Vince sweaters, and that was it. As I watch other people’s hauls and try ons I might pick up some more. I may go to Fashion Show Nordstrom today….maybe….😉.
Nordstrom is a weakness of mine. Their Trunk Club was my favourite styling service and my bank account actually sighed with relief when it shuttered. Have fun at the wedding. More weddings = more cake. ❤

Would not recommend the lighter colors for a monos checked bag. I have a beige one and it looks absolutely trashed with black scrapes and scratches after 1-2 trips from being thrown around on the conveyor belts! I regret the color so much!
I have the BEIS 21 inch suitcase with the front laptop compartment It is SMALL but the one that is 22 inch WITHOUT the front compartment is the way to go. I LOVE BEIS BTW. Taylor Wynn who traveled for 2 years swears by them and, as a traveler myself, I agree on their quality!! I will say the weekender is beautiful - a little heavy but very spacious. I also have a Dagne Dover backpack and it has last great but the neoprene can get chucks out of it which is really annoying. I have not had good luck with Monos Suitcases but I like their weekenders bags!
I don’t know if anyone would stop you, but the size listed for Beis exceeds the international travel size restrictions on both pieces 😢. I’ve had my eye on the brand for a while, kind of bummed.

I’ve heard that you’re never supposed to wear the same pair of shoes two days in a row so maybe you need to get the second pair ;) it’s just not good for your feet with support and all and breaking down the shoes.

I have 3 pairs of HOKA shoes. I JUST donated my older New Balance to Salvation Army yesterday when my newest pair of HOKA Bondi 8 arrived. I was able to pull off 75,000 steps at Disney World without any foot or back pain on the first wear so I am a proselytizing convert to HOKA and proud of it. LOL. Everyone’s feet are different (I have a wide toe box, high arches, and a high instep) so HOKA are perfect for me and very bouncy. Try them, Sam. I don’t go for the loud colors and prefer all white, all black, or grey ombré styles and those never seem to go on sale or sell out immediately. EDIT: I will be in Summerlin 7/14-7/17 visiting family and friends. Any SamSquad meet ups?
The sale has become frustrating. Unless you are a very high spender, once you get to your level a lot of the nicer items are completely sold out. That includes the Hokas, which are great quality and comfortable. The sale was 45 minutes in for the highest level spender and the pair I wanted are gone. (Mach 5 in white) I’m not eligible to shop the sale for another few days. Note: Hokas do vary in style and fit so you need to try a few styles to find which work for you. Good luck!
