I’m Iranian American and that was my initial take on Douglas Murray too ☺️ The man is brilliant but he’s also HONEST, and I think that’s what makes him so different from the rest of Western media (both generally and especially vis a vis covering Israel). I saw an interview recently given my a muslim reporter, saying that in most ME countries, there is zero tolerance for extremists and that those families have mostly been kicked out of their countries into the open arms of our Western democracies.... thus the situations we see in the UK and in America is all thanks to our naivety about the world. And it looks like the idea of relocating the Palestinians to the west (UK in particular) is being floated in the media. This needs to be rejected immediately and unequivocally.
In Australia my media says the government is bringing in 2000 poorly vetted Palestinian refugees a week. I have read Egypt and Jordan are taking none. Is it naivety, or is it a planned attack on the west. Surely every Anglosphere country can't be making the same mistakes. I fear for the large numbers of Christians and small numbers of Jews. But it is a left winged government and these arrivals will reward them with votes.
It could be argued that the moral framework some cultures live by, provide a different understanding of the word extremist. If this has any truth in it, the citizens in those societies consider some things the west calls extreme, morally justified and within the laws of their lands. In the case of islam it is my opinion that it provides a moral framework that is in no way compatible with the moral framework the western world has developed. That ofcourse doesn't mean that there are no good muslims, but the way i see it that is in spite of islam and not because of it, if the scriptures are anything to go by.

Just Curious so don’t judge please. My question is what is Hamas and are all the people Hamas and if any of the people try to defend themselves against drones bombs and snipers are they Hamas and are the soldiers worried about hostages? Could bombs kill hostages ? Or is this a punishment for wanting to stay where they are from? I’m just trying to understand the logistic of all the destruction is this just the way military do tactics? Are the soldiers afraid? The videos the soldiers are constantly posting seem like most are enjoying and not afraid of who they say are a threat? I would recommend Yaron Brook more than Douglas even though Douglas is good. Yaron has a better historical background, makes it more of a moral arguement and isn’t afraid to say that Iran is the root of it all

Just Curious so don’t judge please. My question is what is Hamas and are all the people Hamas and if any of the people try to defend themselves against drones bombs and snipers are they Hamas and are the soldiers worried about hostages? Could bombs kill hostages ? Or is this a punishment for wanting to stay where they are from? I’m just trying to understand the logistic of all the destruction is this just the way military do tactics? Are the soldiers afraid? The videos the soldiers are constantly posting seem like most are enjoying and not afraid of who they say are a threat? I’m only trying to understand because my mind isn’t getting any real reason for the complete destruction of homes and the lives of whole families? Please help in simple terms what I’m not understanding so my mind can rest and not go with thinking humans have a hate that is ruling and spreading! Help the understanding of the goal here please, I’m sure there is logic somewhere but I need help.
I would recommend Yaron Brook more than Douglas even though Douglas is good. Yaron has a better historical background, makes it more of a moral arguement and isn’t afraid to say that Iran is the root of it all

Every time I listen to Douglas, I like him more and more. He's the most intelligent, brave individual that I've come across in years. I'm 64. Everything he says is the truth. I truly wish he could lead our country. I have more faith and respect for Douglas, than all Mp's put together.

If you think this started in Oct 2023, you're missing the 'origin' story/stories. There were plenty of people in the area we now call Israel, and very few of them Jewish before 1900's
