    I'm Japanese, born and raised in Tokyo. I've been married to my Igbo husband for 8years and we have 2 beautiful children and one on the way. Everytime my children hear this song, they can't stop dancing ooooh. I love and admire Igbo culture so much.     Just came across your channel.
    I am an African born in Jamaica with Nigerian ancestry. Could be Igbo, as they suffered the greatest loss of humanity during the trading and enslavement of Africans, or Yoruba. My soul, however, is more drawn to Igbos.
    Thank you for sharing snippets of the Igbo culture with the world. It fills the void, the longing for reunion with home.
    I am glad it was all in Igbo, despite not understanding a word, but my soul made the connection.

    This song brings tears to my eyes.... It brings fond memories of my mom dancing to the original song, i have been playing it over and over and I cry half of the time. My mom really loved Queen Theresa Onourah's songs alot. She will dance and sing to it alot when she is happy or excited. She passed away in 2006. She is Igbo from Anambra state, Awka.
    Thank you Larry gaga, thank you Flavour, thank you Phyno. May the good lord bless you guys over and over again for bringing very emotional and heart felt memories for me back to life.

    I am not igbo but my school in Onitsha invited her band to teach us the original rendition for a cultural music and dance competition many years ago.

    The igboland accepted me and my younger ones via my late mum. My late mum was from onitsha, anambra state. It was so easy to embrace a culture and people so rich in heritage and full of radiant pride for its own. I will always be proud of the Igbo blood that runs through my veins. I remember this song whenever we would visit my grandma and how the ijele masquerade came out for my great grandma's funeral.. Kai. Igboamaka biko.
