Any Igbo person that listens to this song will tell you it's such a morale booster. This song fills me with so much pride in being Igbo. This song makes you feel rich. Proud of all the Igbo people making it and thriving despite all odds.
Please y’all let’s give flavour his flowers while he’s here! He is on the forefront of making our tradition and culture seen by the world! IGBO KWENUU OOOOO I love you my brother Flav
I agree, I fell in love with igbotic highlife from Flavour's music and thru his Collabos I discovered a lot more such as Atigba, Umu Obiligbo, Onyeze to mention but a few...much love from Zambia
If there is a council of Igbo elders, they have delayed in converging to confer Flavour with a tribal title like chief or ambassador of culture because he has raised the culture to the world. Igbo kwe eze nu! Love from Kenya🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪. Hit like if you agree.
Igbo nation doesn't need him or anyone to "raise any culture to the world" as culture is the people's identity and of vital importance to them as a people; not for sale. Every people or the planet earth have a culture. So what's the need for the marketing?
I am Ivorian from Ivory Cost 🇨🇮, a French-speaking country, it was this morning on 01/23/2023 while at work that I heard this beautiful music playing on a friend's phone, the sound is so well played and representative Africa I couldn't do without it, immediately I asked him the title of this music, this song is so beautiful, I listened to it more than 20 times, and I still continue to listen to it, I take my hat off to this singer who represented all of Africa through a single music, bravo
Since a child I ve always liked kanayo, I m always happy to see him healthy and happy,I m not igbo I m esan man but igbos helped me a lot in europe when i was young and lost.
Listened to this song countless times, the video is amazing. As a Yoruba boy, i would say i am proudly Nigerian and love my igbo brothers. Their winning mentality is out of this world
Had this Igbo brother who laid me passes and connects and had me touch my first millions and i can never forget him. South shout Mazi Emekus. That's how we roll.
As an igbo babe, I'm super proud of my culture. A lot of people say igbos are proud, the truth is, it's not pride, it's confidence. No atom of cowardice in an igbo gene, they have purpose, always have purpose. They're fearless and ever ready, hardworking and supportive to their immediate family and extended family. When competition comes, they want to take the lead not extinct their fellow competitors. This is igbo, igbo amaka
Ur very correct I wish ang of my relatives is from Igbo but since none is from Igbo I've decided to marry Igbo so I can extend the familiarity ahead but still looking up to God to grant my request of connection at least let me come out as a man one day
I love the Igbo tribe. Even my parents believe that I was born in the wrong country but at the end of the day we are all Africans. Igbo kwenu!!! much love from South Africa
So I'm Cameroonian but I'm just going to bask in the glory of this pop-cultural masterpiece. This is crazy goood! We're all just going to claim this one for Africa as a whole. Igbos don't be mad let's share this😅
This is how you engage an audience... I didn't understand a word of what he was saying but I stayed through adm listened to the end..... Flavor na baba abeg..... And I love the Igbos......
Proud of my tribe yeah on twenty pounds we rose after the civil war to become the richest tribe in Nigeria after six million of our people were killed in that genocide agstthe great Biafrans , chukwu okikeabiama got our back. Proudly ada Igbo.
As a yoruba babe, I think I can say this. This song is an ode to the people who survived an onslaught, a war, a genocide. Not only did they survive, they are now on top. They, "buried them, but did not know that they were seeds." NA WE DEY HERE! they can try, but they cannot eradicate a people God destined to be on top!
Much appreciated and we are thankful for the Yorubas too; a great people and our privilege to share a common destiny with them. I am Igbo and even though a lot has gone wrong because of bad and selfish leaders, I strongly believe in the uniqueness and greatness of all the tribes/ethnic groups of Nigeria. And believe that Nigeria is not a mistake; but that we are assembled for a purpose Africa and rest of the black race await a united and functioning Nigeria to lead them to our destined place of greatness. We'll leave the past where it belongs, learn from it and move forward in unity. And together in unity, we shall fulfill our purpose for Africa and the rest of the black race. We no go fall destiny hand.
Yeah but it is more likely that Jamaicans are mostly of Yoruba Ancestry because the British used to train with the Oyo Empire a lot. Oyo Empire was a Yoruba Empire btw.
@@Knock_Off0875this is not true. Know your history please. There are Jamaicans described as 'eboes'. Most of them are the light skinned Jamaicans that were moved to Jamaica due to slave trade.
negative jamaicans are also from yoruba tribe as well not just one tribe . i am jamaican and half Yoruba an proud ! lets not seperate ..,. do not do that. Nigeria in general make up most of Jamaica's culture...
I'm not from Naija, but my admiration for y'all and especially the Igbo's is unexplainable. My daily motivation of making a better living for myself and my family comes from you people💯😎
I'm not igbo. I had my first real encounter with Igbos during NYSC. I served in an interior village in imo state. It was such beautiful experience to be with real igbos in their home. I love the igbos so much and I've watched this video countless times. Good bless Ndi igbo!
Just like you, asides from having our Igbo neighbours in Lagos, I met a lot of Igbo boys during my NYSC camp. It was so nice to meet them. They became my friends very easily. They were respectful. They did not know my culture and they genuinely wanted to know more. They were very funny, I find Igbos witty. Their banters were second to none. I still miss them, - Ifeanyi( a proud Abriba man), Christian, Dr Chike Obi, Francis and others I can't recall their names-all UNN boys(Crazy boys..lol!!!!) I like the Igbo men choir group when they sing. This is why I love this Flavour's song. Especially where they sang "Obodo Ewelugo ...Anyawachawago .. Anyaputago..Ifemelugo- Imakwaonyewu?" Profound!!!!! I have learnt how to sing it like I actually speak Igbo..; Thanks to everyone who has transliterated the song. Igbo culture puts Nigeria in the arena when it comes to displaying culture. At an early stage, I was exposed to African literature with many written with Igbo influences. When I got to the University, my lecturers gave us an insight into the lives of the characters in Things Fall Apart. I remember Dr Saleh Abdu teaching us about the friendship of Obierika to Okonkwo and many other instances. Proud of Igbo people.. Igbo Amaka!!
There’s Afrobeats. Then there’s highlife/ oghene music. That’s next level full bodied traditional Igbo experience. I’m so happy Mr Flavor is keeping this genre alive! 🎉imakwa onye Iwu???
Infact, am a Ghanaian ... I love listening to Nigerian music since the time of Terry G and J . Martins especially Igbo music has an amplifying tune. Flavour , Phyno and Master Craft on the beat is a 3 headed beast and a triple threat.... IGBO KWENU...
The pride this song exudes, the igbo's are a resilient bunch with their minds always set on survival mode. From the igbo landing to the biafra war, different times in history show how they've survived against all odds. As a fellow nigerian, I am forever inspired.
The beginning part really got me.... Anyañwu achawago indeed! That's Flavour sending a subtle message about the rising sun. Biafra is here to stay 🌅! Proudly Igbo!!! ❤
Am from Ghana buh because of flavor I have been an igbo for 8years straight... everyone think am an igbo boy ....am learning the language from flavor 💪💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
I aren't from Igbo tribe but most of my friends are Igbo so I can say I have igbo brothers and sisters from another mother. Really love the tribe. And they would always have my love at all time
I’m a Yoruba boy but and I love this tribe so much. By the way, Anambra is my state even though my parents are from Ogun state. My Igbo title is Afamefuna Nke Izizi N’Achalla Umuchu. Ezigbo madu of Nnopu Compound.
Father from Sierra Leone, Grandmother from mother side from Sierra Leone and i was born in Liberia. I am very proud of my Sierra Leonean connection. Salone and Liberia will rise again my God grace
That tribe igbo is just out of this world... Everything about them is unique... Beautiful language, beautiful people... Nigeria is blessed to have that tribe... God bless you all... From a proud Akwa Ibomite❤️❤️❤️✌️💯
Not the video but the song. Really the video is trash. Guys posing in front of luxury vehicles and throwing cash about as if materialism is that life is about … when the song itself tells of power through community. Wealth through community.
I am proud to be an Afrikan!!!!! Whew i make reference to my mom that In my previous life I was an Igbo woman and till date, Igbo cultures has some similarities with mine from Grand Gedeh Liberia. I am level of respect and love I have for our cultures is ever increasing! I am a lover of everything Afrikan!!! Flavour always has a way of bringing culture into his music which is such a beautiful pleasure to our ears🥰🥰😍😍😍😘
😄correction BiafransAreThe Biggest in the world not Africa. Im Ghanaian and I say this my full chest why you think I'm fasting and praying for Biafra to come. They'll put Apple and Tesla out of business
@@simp1eone chai my sister from another mother country u are 100% right! I never knew other ppl knew this too. Many ppl don't even understand d massive potential this biafra(igbo ppl) portains at all...especially to d whole world. I believe once they know they will shock immediately!
As an Igbo son. A true son of the soil. A Nwafor, I cannot give up until I’ve impacted my society positively. I know who I am. A beacon of hope, with a wealthy heritage. Amam onye m wu. Odogwu!!!
It's the levels.... Igbo men always standing out... One tribe that I so much cherish and love... They are hard workers... Kudos to my Eastern Brothers... 👏👏👏
I am from the Bahamas. Currently in Toronto heard this song at an African club I been to and I love it! Something about this song lure me in. My boyfriend and future husband is also Igbo. Lol❤
Am from Sierra leone 🇸🇱 and this song is like an anthem for me. The number of times I have listened to this song is more that the number of hair on my head..and that's no exaggeration. AM PROUD TO BE BORN IN AFRICA 🌍 .
@@echetabuemeka4087 That was dark humor, since you took offense, I guess many will, so lemme delete it rather... I know what they act is not how they live, but I guess it's a sensitive topic to others...
The goal of every Igbo man is to be a provider to his wife and kids plus be a respected member of his extended family and clan. This song is the soundtrack for all igbo hustlers worldwide dreaming of making it big. Our culture is also based on celebrating life so even our funerals are lit. Igbo amaka! Igbo kwenu!
If you've ever wondered what the IGBOS are made of, this Jam will give u answers!!! The energy in this video is a direct reflection of Ndi Igbo! I've watched more than 100× 🤗
I'm from the Caribbean, but I just love how this song makes me feel even though I may not understand the words, the message is very clear,SUCCESS IS A MUST, GO HARD OR GO HOME, HARD WORK PAYS OFF. 🔥🔥🔥
Anyanwu achawa go, imakwa onye iwu? This Song passed a very strong message to all Igbo men and women to be proud of themselves and where they come from. I like the fact that they also featured Igbo women in the song.... The Sun is Rising and We Must Rise as Well! Classic 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Very important message but most of people here did not get it at all ..he bare it all , you can't subdue us because we know ourselves( Imakwa onye ibu ).
@@charlesfredrick2066 since hushpuppy is a fraudster, does it mean all yorubas are fraudsters? That some people have the mind to push it doesn't mean everyone does it. Lol. Them get mind🤣🤣🤣 if e easy do am.
Igbos are truly the sons and daughters of David....fearless, the Jews of Africa. Full of cultural thoughts and dance steps!!! Proud to be an igbo man!!!!Igbo Amaka!!! Igbo kwenu!!!!
I'm French caribean, I don't understand nothing, but I don't know why I fell this song has the energy of strength, pride and wealth. It's a powerful rythm
😁😁😁😁 don't even go there because u haven't been to America and musicians with doings . Is just law is too much in USA that's why they don't show case money to avoid been jailed .
This's exactly how it be when everyone understands their assignment and do it right ✔💯...The Men..The Ladies...Backup Singers...The Beat..I mean the whole song is on another level 🙌🏿💯🔥🔥🔥🔥

Well said.. im.rdo babe and also love them for their resilent
And believe that Nigeria is not a mistake; but that we are assembled for a purpose
Africa and rest of the black race await a united and functioning Nigeria to lead them to our destined place of greatness.
We'll leave the past where it belongs, learn from it and move forward in unity.
And together in unity, we shall fulfill our purpose for Africa and the rest of the black race. We no go fall destiny hand.

I still miss them, - Ifeanyi( a proud Abriba man), Christian, Dr Chike Obi, Francis and others I can't recall their names-all UNN boys(Crazy boys..lol!!!!)
I like the Igbo men choir group when they sing.
