Even though I'm 12 years older than Robyn, I love the energy of her music and the genuine, honesty she puts into her lyrics. In the sea of sameness that is today's music industry, Robyn is like a precious metal.
Beautiful genuine person with amazing talent. She sings pop music how it should be done and how she wants to do it. Using sadness, heartbreak and life experience, infused with heavy beats. Robyn doesn't follow the trends she sets them, mad respect for this woman.
Robyn always looks great whether she's sporting her music video fashions or giving interviews like this. She has a unique look that's all her own and it's always fabulous. She's so sweet and talented. I just love her voice and body of work. Love her latest releases, Honey & Missing U.
A legend of the music industry, she sets the boundaries for every other artist there is, would love to see her headline Glastonbury, could u imagine...love this lady's talent...x
Im one of Robyns biggest fans and I was not expecting her to be as shy as she is. I guess it's true that some of the greatest entertainers are extremly shy...
she's hyper sensitive and delicate, like a butterfly. the reason her music can touch our souls. only someone so delicate and sensitive and anxious could create something so sweet and clever.
She's been in 1000's of interviews since she was young, if you are one of her "biggest fans" you'd have a much better understanding of her personality!! If anything, she's just a more mature person now, and has always been poised, intelligent, and polite.
outstanding interview! i LOVED and am inspired by the bravery in her music, in this interview and in her therapy journey. what a wonderful and raw soul we have in Robyn. she is such a blessing to all of humanity during this time.
Very interesting what she said about therapy and how she’s begun to explore different sides to herself. Her Honey album is so sensual and soft. My favourite all of her albums. “The softer I get, the more it happens”
Can you imagine writing a song at 11 and not jut one but numerous tracks being on your first album this lady is incredible loved her from the moment i heard her all saints ripped her style off me thinks but only a little bit cause she has cobra stley she can do anything effortlessly
She looks and sounds great. Nice to see her looking like her earlier years. One thing though, why did you edit out the tracks played? Is there an unedited version?
FYI Meja, who discovered Robyn, was a solo artist in the late 90s and sang "It's all about the money, it's all about the dum dum du du dum", also did a duet 'private emotions' with Ricky Martin.
Christopher Campbell She's telling her life's experience in a lengthy intimate setting in front of a large audience. She's matured, obviously. This does not diminish her talent, only shows her complexity. Very soulful person
Hi, applications for Academies open in advance of each. Please check www.redbullmusicacademy.com to stay updated and find out when the next ones open. Thanks!
She didn't provide any information that would be valuable to the audience though, unless you're planning on writing her biography. Not her fault, nor a bad thing. Just kinda mislabelled
For a talk this long do they really need those huge ass microphones. After five minutes my diva would come out I’d drop the thing on the floor be like I can’t.
Bishy The Bish This look is very much like she looked when she was 20-21.. very feminine, lovely with longer hair. Sbe looks fit, very rested, healthy. I've been following her since the late 90's, and I think she looks her best, like she does in this interview.
This is a great interview to watch but both speakers are very unassertive; as if having an opinion or wanting to make a bold statement would be considered rude. I feel like both speakers are far too often apologising for what they're saying. The ultimate moment came at 11:55 with, "I feel bad for her for feeling bad for me" -- my goodness!
Degjoy Some people are more timid than others, which you know, not everybody is so extroverted. I definitely do not see a strong woman like Robyn as unassertive though. She is someone that won't let people walk all over her. Plus understand she's suffered a loss, so sometimes it takes a while to bounce back. Grief affects people in so many ways, different for everybody. I had a co-worker once that would apologize for everything, every little thing ALL OF THE TIME - that was annoying/frustrating. I don't see that in this video, especially with her friend, they way he would point out to her that she didn't have to feel bad for something like that. It was an interesting interview, even though it was a called a lecture.
I really thought it was a terrible interview. Robyn is an incredible pop-star- I think the best of the last 15 years. I like the character she has formed with her pop-- I suppose I was disappointed that the reality didn't match with that. She is vulnerable here which is nice, but I really didn't enjoy watching her so uncomfortable. Perhaps Robyn would do well just to make her art and not explain it in interviews. What do you think?
We are all working with language as products of our environment. We are each doing the best with the information we have. Hopefully, we can each lead by example the best way we know.
Degjoy She's got some years in her now, and it's part of growing up. I loved it, and will love her when she's touring again. She's a very talented down to earth music artist. LoVe

Robyn has a fragile soul.
So genuine.
I love her.
Peace.
spot on you feel her just like I felt her , she has a kind and humble soul
I love Robyn 💘
I think she has a strong one. Not everyone go for their dreams so ferociously as she did. Many just watch life passing by.
As a little girl, this woman made me feel empowered. Now, 20 years later, here she is again doing the the same thing. You are so beautiful, Robyn.

To anyone who is pursuing a career - I hope yours goes like Robyn's. There's nothing more that you could wish for.

Robyn is pure genius.
Robyn is so genuine and sweet. And the interviewer is amazing as well. This was beautiful.
She was only 15 years old the first and only time a saw her, signing CDs in the local music store in the small ass town I grew up in. Crazy.
Robin is a musical genius. I love her understated presence.
A legend of the music industry, she sets the boundaries for every other artist there is, would love to see her headline Glastonbury, could u imagine...love this lady's talent...x
Yes OF COURSE she listens to Prince all the time - LOVE YOU ROBYN!!!
Im one of Robyns biggest fans and I was not expecting her to be as shy as she is. I guess it's true that some of the greatest entertainers are extremly shy...

Thank you Robyn and Adam.
Started to listen to Robyn in 1997....and I never stopped.......shes the queen of Sweden!!
How cute is she to be in the business for over 10 years and still be shy/ nervous doing an interview!!!!!
25 years
What a fascinating woman I stumbled on one of her songs today for the first time I'm hooked
outstanding interview! i LOVED and am inspired by the bravery in her music, in this interview and in her therapy journey. what a wonderful and raw soul we have in Robyn. she is such a blessing to all of humanity during this time.
I love Robyn one of my favorite artists ever
Very ahead of her time
Very interesting what she said about therapy and how she’s begun to explore different sides to herself. Her Honey album is so sensual and soft. My favourite all of her albums.

She is iconic ❤
So well spoken and crazily talented. She has more talent in her small toe than I will ever have in my life. She is quite the inspiration.
Squeee Robyn! Her music is so relatable and fun. Have been a fan since Show Me Love in the mid 90's.
Robyn makes me happy
I love Robyn sooo much. 💘😍
Robyn is so down-to-earth I just love this Sweden girl she paved the way for other pop female artists
I'm crying, I fucking love her. She's so genuine 💜💜💜
Can you imagine writing a song at 11 and not jut one but numerous tracks being on your first album this lady is incredible loved her from the moment i heard her all saints ripped her style off me thinks but only a little bit cause she has cobra stley she can do anything effortlessly

Such a beautiful woman with amazing talent... Bless your heart
She looks and sounds great. Nice to see her looking like her earlier years. One thing though, why did you edit out the tracks played? Is there an unedited version?
It is really disappointing, I agree. Maybe they didn't have the rights to share those here.
FYI Meja, who discovered Robyn, was a solo artist in the late 90s and sang "It's all about the money, it's all about the dum dum du du dum", also did a duet 'private emotions' with Ricky Martin.
Fascinating! I've loved the music introduced to me by Marina and The Diamonds, but Robyn is INCREDIBLE as a stand alone artist!
ActionGal She's even better with Royksopp
#releasehoneygoddamnit indeed legend Robyn
Robyn is such a stunning woman. Great interview too. Thanks! Now where’s her new album? I’m jonesing for more!
Which DJ was she referring to when she referenced the Ecstacy track from 2015? @1:17:43
*Please Help!*
Right!!! I played it over and over...
All I hear is, Dj Colt Segway...LoL.
Ew. I know! Dj Cotsa?

pitchfork.com/reviews/tracks/17515-dj-koze-xtc/

such a shame e the music was cut out
damn copyrights >_
@@fabulousprofound but Robyn gave them the demos, they are hers, why are they not allowed, she's there! kinda annoying
When you watch her onstage...and here they seem like 2 different people. Beautiful person tho.
Is there a way to find each of the songs/videos that have timestamps in the description but are cut out of the stream? I'd love to hear the demos.
Songs without a streaming link aren't yet available publicly.
The decision to have them use hand held microphones in this was ridiculous.
38:26 Oh hi Detox!
She seem very emotional like she is dealing with something. Well wishes.
Christopher Campbell She's telling her life's experience in a lengthy intimate setting in front of a large audience. She's matured, obviously. This does not diminish her talent, only shows her complexity. Very soulful person
Please can i have someone to talk to. I need to know how to enroll. thanks\

Short hair suits her much more.
Best voice
Mulher, volta logo
Was this guys the inspiration for ‘Bruno’?
so I love robyn but this was definitely not a lecture
Joel Hohmann It's a form of lecture. She's providing insite to her life, career, conversationlly in front of a large group.
She didn't provide any information that would be valuable to the audience though, unless you're planning on writing her biography. Not her fault, nor a bad thing. Just kinda mislabelled
Joel Hohmann You can take it up with Red Bull Music, and ask them to reword the the title.
🙌🏼
She doesn´t release new music since 2010. I need new music from her, PLEASE.
check out her music with Röyksopp :) they released an EP together back in 2014 i think, good stuff :)
Yes, but that is not her solo music style. And still it´s 4 years ago.
that's true...we can only hope and wait :)
You were rewarded 😊
Did they name the Robyn robot Fembot
For a talk this long do they really need those huge ass microphones. After five minutes my diva would come out I’d drop the thing on the floor be like I can’t.
She looks so different now!
Yes, she is older
Bishy The Bish This look is very much like she looked when she was 20-21.. very feminine, lovely with longer hair. Sbe looks fit, very rested, healthy. I've been following her since the late 90's, and I think she looks her best, like she does in this interview.
A calibration with Todd Rundgren?
