I've walked past the Ruskin about a zillion times and never knew what lay within. Very impressive. I'm a slob though, so I just need somewhere with a bed, a shower and a toilet! I'm not a big fan of fancy hotels. I've spent my career staying in them. But what a fantastic ambassador for Blackpool you are Katie. Absolutely loving your good work.

I honestly can't remember but I don't think so but there is lifts
We have booked The Hotel Sheraton again for August.....but after spending one night at The Ruskin......just wow and would book again xx

I'm Blackpool born & bred and hate it when people ask me for recommendations, ( I live here but I'm not the tourist board lol) This looks like a great little hotel, I might direct them to this video as this looks like something I would happily say ( this a good one in town) Well done to the owners/management as it looks a credit to the town / my town. Well done Ruskin Hotel, mega impressed 🙂 I would stay here, I wont cos I live 2 miles away, but I so would.

It's a great hotel
We stayed once with our 86 year old mum. We were placed miles away in different areas of the hotel. Mums room was on two levels so very much a falls hazard. They changed the room for us but didn't put Mum any closer to us although we asked. The hotel definitely wasn't full by any stretch of the imagination. Our room was over the bar which had families laughing and joking until very late into the night. Although the hotel was very clean and the breakfast was very good there are other hotels I would prefer to stay at I'm afraid.

The hotel is one of the best in Blackpool we loved how clean it was, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was superb but we've stayed in hotels more elderly/disabled friendly. The corridors were very long and narrow and up and down which for fitter people isn't a problem but alas we aren't that fit.😭
@@Paulad39uk the imperial has very wide corridors and has adaptable rooms I stayed there and filmed a video if that's any help to you it's a stunning hotel x

Usually they do that at the reception the gv your room at the door Albert Road is central if anybody doesn't that gd buy for kids
I've never seen the meet and greet or portering service in other hotels I've reviewed
