I took my mom to see this and Killmonger's last lines had her in absolute tears. RIP Chadwick Boseman and RIP to my mama, lost her a month before we were going to watch Avengers Endgame
❤ So sorry for your loss, friend. ❤
Killmonger's final lines ripped out my heart too. So powerful!
I’m so sorry for your loss.
RIP Chadwick, you were an amazing man. Black Panther will live on because of these incredible performances.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I watched this again today after a couple of years. I saw it twice at the theater. The movie still has such an effect on me. I have to applaud MCU for the time and effort on the plot, script and choice of actors . Chad Boseman was immortalized and will always be remembered for his performance. I took my son to see him in the Thurgood Marshall movie years ago-excellent! Rest in Peace sweet prince!
R.I.P Chadwick you are the one and only Black Panther
I think James C. Mathis III (the GOAT Black Panther) would like a word with you.
Someone already mentioned it, but definitely upload a part 1 and 2 for both Infinity War and End Game if you can. There's just so much to capture for each of those movies, but I'm VERY MUCH looking forward to seeing your reaction for them! :D
This! 100% this
I love the banter between Shuri and Ta’Challa it made you think that they were actually brother and sister. It just gave you that feeling of them teasing each other.
Great reaction! 😊
R.I.P ALWAYS to Chadwick Boseman!!! 💜
This is such a fantastic movie! Easily in my top 5 favorite MCU movies so far!
"And as you can see, I am not dead!" This is one of the best quotes in the movie, and yet for me it hits differently ever since Chadwick's passing.
So many great things in this movie. The cast, the storyline, the set pieces, and the music. All phenomenal!
Up next in the MCU: "Avengers: Infinity War". I highly recommend maybe a 2 parter for this movie(and Endgame) of you can since there's so many great moments to cover.
Looking forward to your next reaction. 😊
That's right but now it's time for his sister to carry on his legacy 😎🏆👑
I would put Black Panther as probably my 11th favorite MCU film to date, and I love this movie.
1 *Infinity War*
2 *Endgame*
3 *Civil War*
4 *Avengers*
5 *Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 1*
6 *Thor: Ragnarok*
7 *Iron Man*
8 *Captain America: The Winter Soldier*
9 *Dr. Strange*
10 *Spiderman: No Way Home*
11 *Black Panther*
12 *Ant Man*
Those are some good picks!
Ulysses Klaw aka Andy Sircis aka Golem/Smeagol from Lord of the Rings. Another broken white boy = Bucky/Winter Soldier. ‘Hey, Auntie’ was improvised by MBJ.
I still listen to the soundtrack regularly 🔥🔥🔥
Black panthers takes place a week after civil war the Black widow a few days you can watch the Black widow movie but you cannot see the in credit spoilers. But you can watch the Black widow in credit after watching avengers endgame.
That's exactly what I did when I had a similar MCU marathon with a friend wanting to get into all of this comic book fun. It fits into the larger MCU narrative seamlessly. Then after Endgame prior to checking out the Hawkeye D+ series, we went right back to the BW after credit scene to get ready for that ride. Like opening an old wound that hadn't healed.
black panther wakanda forever 100% lives up to the hype for me
I wanna say that Michael B, Jordan improvised the, “hey auntie” line.
Amazing movie wish we could have got more from the KING👑
20:10 I think you mean Iron Man when he got stuck by Thor and Jarvis told you reached 400% power capacity.
This movie is one of my favorites. Not only was Black Panther a good movie but Chadwick was one of my favorite actors. Gone too soon,
RIP T’Challa.
PS. Oakland, Ca is where I’m from, the theaters erupted when they started the movie in Oakland. That’s also where the Golden State Warriors played, the Raiders started, and the A’s still play.
I can’t wait for your MCU journey to catch up, it has been fun going along with your progression. Take care Homie✌🏼
One more thing, when Sheri says “Great, another broken white boy to fix. The first one she was talking about was Bucky. Remember at the end of Civil War Bucky goes with T’Challa to Wakanda.
Great reaction as always, thank you
Yeah end of captain America civil war they took Bucky to wankanda to heal him it was end credit scene
I wish I could watch this again for the first time.
People say they're on the fence about Eric Kilmonger and aren't sure if he's really a villain.
He absolutely is. I almost felt sympathy for him with his speech at the end to T'challa, but then I remembered what he did in this movie.
He murdered 2 women, attempted to kill princess Shuri and strangled a female elder.
One of the women he killed was his girlfriend, who believed in him and his cause so much that she helped him carry out his plans.
She thought he cared about her and he put a bullet in her head like she was nothing...so yeah. He was a piece of sh*t.
Definitely. If you really focus on it the true villains of this movie were the brothers T'Chaka and N'Jobu (T'Challa's dad and Killmongers dad.)
One for killing his own brother (which is beyond messed up) and abandoning his nephew as a cover up, denying the man a fair trail and letting the trail go cold of the actual man they were hunting (Klaue). He also laid the groundwork years in advance for his son and successor being betrayed by the border tribe.
The other one was a both a hypocrite and a traitor. He helped Klaue stage a terrorist attack on Wakanda's border, killing a lot of people and stealing their most valuable resources. Then he lets the racist villain KEEP most the shit he stole. That's crazy. N'Jobu also wanted Wakanda to colonize the world with weapons and that's not great.
You’re right about Killmonger not being a villian. I think the word you’re looking for the describe Killmonger is Antagonist. A antagonist is anyone who is against the main character, but they don’t have to be a villian or wrong.
For example, Tony Stark was a antagonist in Captain America Civil War. He wasn’t really a villian, but he was against Captain America.
Mmm... yeah still a villain. I don't know why people believe that just because the villain is sympathetic or "justified" enough they stop being a villain. This dude killed civilians and bystanders breaking out Klaue... and he ordered a violent global power grab and the killing of "their children along with anyone else who takes their side". That sounds a lot like some Nazi Gestapo shit to me...
I'm a black man and I liked Killmonger more than the main character in the movie T'Challa. I still recognize that Killmonger in a psychopathic villain with raised battle scars all over his body for every kill he has though. 🤷🏾♂️
Took you long enough to get to this. MCU Wakanda movies are awesome.
Killmonger absolutely is/was a villain. All of the best villains have *very* good reasons for the choices they make. The fact that you can sympathize so strongly with him is what makes him a great villain.
The actor , who play young Ta Chaka, is the biological son on the old the old Ta Chaka
Another banger! 🔥🔥 Keep up Major!
In the Marvel universe, the Egyptian panther goddess Bast left Egypt for Wakanda in ancient times. Because of her, they have access to the land of the dead where the current Black Panther can consult with any past king of Wakanda. This means Wakandan history extends back to before the invention of writing, a fact that Wakandans are very proud of.
I love all the strong women in this. This whole movie could have been avoided if T'Challa took the advice of Nakia at the beginning of the movie.
As a comic book nerd, I feel compelled to explain some of the metaphors.
Ulysses is willing to harm all of Wakanda just to get his hands on vibranium. Ulysses Klaue represents what European colonialism did to Africa. Because comic books are never subtle, he often wears a pith helmet (like the British often did while in Africa) to make sure you don't miss the metaphor.
Vibranium therefore represents the resources European colonialists took from Africa.
Wakanda is therefore a fantasy of what Africa might have been without the ravages of colonialism.
Want to cry? Everyone assumes that the opening sequence is T'Chaka talking to a young T'Challa. If you pay attention, it is N'Jobu talking to young Erik.
Black Panther takes a little over a week after the events of Captain America: Civil War.
Great reaction 💯👍 lol all I’ll say about waknda forever is they DID Chadwick proud 💯💯💯💯
Totally agree I'm not ashamed to say i had tears running down my face in the cinema!! Incredibly emotional, they did him proud!! WAKANDA FOREVER
@@simonalexander2354 💯 but it was the end credits had me sobbing like a baby lol
@@CheesyukHB Tell me about it
36:36 that whole part was improvised.
Hey Major! At 10:00 You said "Angela Bassett.. is like the mother to us all". Well my friend I am MUCH older than you and let me tell you... I was quite smitten with her for many years. It would do you good to go watch some of her early works. 😉
Let's go, Major. I'm excited about this one. Only MCU movie I haven't seen.
Next movie is going to be lit to see Major react.
Do black panther wakanda forever reacts
This movie will hit different now that you caught up though.
it's just as good
Yassss!!!!❤
The best thing about the MCU is that it occasionally exceeds the source material. In this movie, that is M'Baku, Killmonger, and the Dora Milaje. Killmonger is one of the greatest movie villains ever. He's like a perfect blend of Magneto and Batman. Comic book M'Baku is cringe. Everyone loves the Dora in the comic books, but they felt too much like something from a Bond movie.
Not really a criticism of this movie but just something that bugs me when I watch it now, I find it mad that T’Challa had to go through this whole movie just to basically be on the same thing Nakia was saying like right at the beginning of the movie.
Its one of those enjoy the journey of how you get there but damn Nakia was ahead of the curb probably the only character in this whole movie that was never tripping I feel like it goes under the radar but when I peeped it I appreciated her character a lot more
I can't wait for you watch Avengers infinity war an Endgame!!!!
Becky is the white wolf the protector of wakanda when the Black panther isn't there. Storm in the comic is Queen of wakanda her mother would be a war dog raise in Egypt member of the X-Men. Also cap had the best super soldier because it couldn't wear off like the hulk didn't have to have multiple injections like blonsky and couldn't be taken away like t'challa.
The White Wolf in the comics is a white guy named Hunter and he's T'Challa's adopted sibling like Thor and Loki. It's not Bucky except in the MCU and the White Wolf wasn't exactly Wakanda's protector but rather the brutal head of the Hatut Zeraze secret police force.
Hunter could have been the first white wolf a enemy to another Black panther but to t'challa Bucky is the white wolf because he started off as an enemy now brother in arms.
@@nvp8191 Bucky being White Wolf is again... *only* in the MCU. In the comics its an antagonistic relationship but they're not enemies exactly they just clash ideologically. Also even in the MCU Bucky was never T'Challa's enemy... seeing as he was framed and only defending himself from the Winter Soldier programming. Once T'Challa saw he was chasing the wrong guy, he captured the right guy and fixed Bucky as as a favour to Captain America... effectively playing both sides because he turned in Zemo for Team Iron Man and harboured Bucky for Team Cap.
💜
I was really hoping you were watching this for the first time but that's insane to think because everyone went to watch it so there isn't many people who havnt seen it
The other white boy is Bucky... Remember civil war?
The other Broken White Boy was Bucky. Remember at the end of Civil war
I love this movie a lot~. It's so good!
The second story would’ve made a great series and even with the quality plummet of the next phase I held out hope for BP2. I haven’t rewatched it since seeing it in the theater. The first, 3x’s in the theater. Not bad, but…🤷🏾♂️
Day 2 of asking you to react to “This is The End”. I’ll subscribe 😂
Sunday infinity wars?
This is the perfect time to watch Black Widow.
💥Just dont watch the end credits until after Endgame.💥
Keep up the awesome work 🤩
I wouldn't, that end credit scene is pretty much the biggest spoiler in an end credit scene.
Is it hard for you not to watch the recent marvel movies that come out
Lol the other white dude is buckey remember civil war?
I know I said it in the reaction
Did you watch Black Widow before Endgame?
