Honestly agreed. False Swipe and Hold Back kinda feel like unique moves False Swipe being for more Edged Pokémon and Holdback for mons that prefer to pummel their foes.
We got Supercell Slam in blueberry academy
It has a chance to miss, & if it does miss or hit a Ground Type, you lose HALF OF YOUR HEALTH.
@@austingordon3709 Yep, and ALL those drawbacks for a move with *100 base power...* And High Jump Kick, the move it's based on has 130 base power.
Game Freak for some reason REALLY hates physical electric types.
as an avid ground type fan, rototiller is basically just ground type growth (that only works on grass types lmao)
I was super confused on why there were so few comments and likes. Then I looked at when this came out.
Supercell slam and wild charge are given out to a good range of Pokemon also Zekrom and Zeraora get signature physical electric moves
I'm convinced that gamefreak hates luxray😭😭
Still don't get why Behemoth Bash doesn't use Defense instead of Attack
Supercell slam is good. Just don't miss it.
There is actually a niche to detect. Imprison stops pokemon from protecting if they also have protect, and detect would bypass this (imprison can be a common way to stop opposing trick roomers). Also it has less pp, so your Pokémon will struggle sooner for more damage
I love that ending( chefs kiss)
Pokemon with both detect and protect
Protect
Detect
Protect (so on so forth until it misses which then they do the same move until it dosent)
Supercell Slam is the closest to a strong physical electric move we have, and it's still a weaker High Jump Kick in practice.
to this day I keep thinking Rototiller is related to Rotom somehow
I kinda miss we we got event pokemon with unique moves.
I wish they do that more to make them more special
"No strong physical Electric moves"
Supercell Slam would like a word with you. Just add a Wide Lens and you’re good to go.
Ground Types, Protect/Detect & Moves where the user can’t be hit on the first turn (Fly, Phantom Force, Dive, Dig, etc)
There's no way I am wasting my item to use a mediocer electric type move
Supercell Slam is a 100 BP, Physical Electric type attack
O_O Interesting thing is...I think the homebrew I am making for 5e actually added differences between the samey moves!
(Note: DP means damage done by the die used for the Pokémon's physical damage die, which can be different depending on the Pokémon. For example, Darmanitan would use a D12 while Alakazam would use a D4.)
Scratch: Costs 2PP, Does 2DP slashing damage.
Pound: Costs 2PP, does 2DP bludgeoning damage.
Tackle: Costs 2PP, does 2DP bludgeoning damage and can have bonuses from charge attacks added.
If they wanted to make a False Swipe clone, they could've at least made it a type Ghost isn't immune to to give it a niche
They could even make it Electric, Ground, Psychic or Ghost type so there'd be a reason to use each
Supercell slam....wild charge....these are pretty strong electric moves
Well we have a good phyiscal electric move now. Supercell Slam
Steevie: There's no powerful Physical Electric moves besides that damn rat.
Me: Uh, scuse you? Fusion Bolt?
@ thats even more limited
@@julienbronsch5039 It's on two mons, not just one... I mean you need one to get the other but still. :P
And if you think about it, no move is truly exclusive because Sketch.
@@BloodThirstyAvengers Volt Tackle is on 3 mons technically.
And none of them is a legendary.
I also never said that its an exclusive move, just that its more limited.
There are a few exclusive moves besides Scetch though.
Chatter, Hyperspace Void, Tera Starstorm and a few more as of gen 9+DLC
When I was a kid, I misinterpreted False Swipe as being a move that would ALWAYS leave the enemy Pokemon with exactly 1 HP, no matter how full their HP bar was. Was very disappointed when I tried that out and found it not to be the case.
Me too lol. Great minds think alike!
Not a single one of the non signature electtic physical moves should have such massive caveats.
They literally "won't know what him 'em." Nice.
Supercell slam ignorance will not be tolerated
i only know what rototiller is cause i caught a mudbray with it before watching this-
GAMEFREAK!! GIVE LUXRAY BOLT STRIKE OR VOLT TACKLE AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!!
Detect is a limited ultra instinct for Pokémon
"Damn I wonder who is the favorite- Oh wait nevermind"
Bro was about to make another "Zacian is broken" joke until he saw how is is it going and how Zamazenta is going lately lmao
yeah gen 9 nerfed Zacian into oblivion, where as her brother Zamazenta got the one move he was sorely lacking back in gen 8 and is effectively "intimidate proof"
Cue the Spider-Men pointing meme
Detect is dodging protect is blocking. Whoopti do do
The way they made Supercell Slam an electric-type clone of Jump Kick but with the consequences of High Jump Kick 😭
@ Jump Kick and High Jump Kick have the exsact same consequences though?
Oh damn they do, for some reason I thought jump kick was one 1/4 crash damage 😭
supercell slam's pretty good, isn't it?
Wait I never actually thought about false swipe being good for catching pokemon! That would have helped my attempts at catching Leafeon without killing them.
For whatever reason Game Freak is so reluctant on adding in good physical electric moves without some catch to it. Either the move has low power, low accuracy or its exclusive to certain mons
I mean, theres Supercell Slam. Thats a decent physical electric move.
Aksually, scratch is a slashing move. Idk that if anything with sharpness ever learns it but I guess it is something
@ actually, Scratch *isnt* a slicing move.
Idk why, but it isnt boosted from sharpness
Bro has never herd of supercell slam
At least they added supercell slam
I wish there was a Dark type version of False Swipe so I can catch Ghost types easier
detect is actually good as the 2nd try in a row is 60% instead of 50%
