no i understand what you mean about others pumping out knits so fast while you're still working on something for a long time. im a slow knitter as well and i want to make more things soon. im glad that someone gets how i feel haha
Right?! It’s not something I see a lot of people talk about but that mentality creeps in so easily. It’s not something I ever really cared about before social media 🥲 I’m glad you understand x
I feel the same way about podcasting, my episodes are so sporadically posted and the algorithm hates me for it haha. I also feel like the fail rate for me is higher with vintage because I can be so finicky about fit. I love your rainbow jumper I might knit one one day I've been feeling more 50s atm
It’s so tricky haha! I understand what you mean about fit with vintage knits, it’s so much more important than modern styles with heaps of ease :) I adore your 50s knit sets, they look SO good on you! ❤️
Hey 😊 when I grew up my mum had a tomato soup mug like this and I thought they were so old fashioned, but now when I see them in charity shops or like now, on your channel, I just love them haha I saw a German one and regret not buying it now..they are so cozy. I just love your vintage knit *sigh* I cannot wait until I have my own 😊😊
Awh that’s so cute! A German one would be adorable 🥹 My mum’s side of the family is from Germany and I absolutely love it there, so every time I hear you talk about it I get so excited ❤️ You will have a rainbow jumper soon!! They’re so quick to knit :)
Oh my gosh I’m sorry I don’t 😭 When they fled they got rid of everything that they associated with Germany, it’s so sad! But I started learning it once and would love to learn again!
@@vintageknittingparty Well, that's pretty understandable given the history...! It's a really hard language and I so wish it came easier to me. Maybe your German blood will naturally aid your learning ;)
@@vintageknittingparty Hey, do you have a video or tutorial that shows how to do the pattern part of the rainbow jumper? I saw some videos showing progress but not exactly how the pattern in the middle is knitted . I didn't understand it from the book :,)
Please don't feel any pressure to knit to impress your viewers. A sustainable wardrobe is all about enjoying the process and taking it as slowly as desired, right?
You have mentions so many relatable topics at the end. You are very charming! Best of luck!
Fabulous!

I’m a slow knitter too. I savor my wips and also have rsi so slow and ponderous it is 😆
Haha I’m so glad you understand!! If they’re worth knitting, they’re worth savouring 🥰
Your projects turned out great.
Thank you, Norma!
By all means, change whatever you like on a pattern to please your taste and temper. It is just a template, go have fun!

Thank you so much lovely! I completely agree, my favourite pieces are the ones I’ve taken the longest to plan and sew :)
