I've yet to hear the full album but old albums like "I choose noise" or "Wide Angle" were beasts : you had various rythms, vocals and the use of classic music with electronica was a huge mark of Hybrid. You don't really get that anymore, not saying the last albums they recently made are bad, I really enjoyed Light of the Fearless, but they definitely don't have the same recipe that worked so well for these old albums. It's different, but I do wish we had a release like these old ones with different vocals, and mix with classical music, it was really nice.
While still miles ahead of the competition, they sound more bland and boring compared to their old selves ever since Charlotte joined. Hybrid were unpredictable. Now it's generic radio music with bursts of brilliance.
I need more Hybrid. Best music ever. :]

I don't get why people hate Hybrid's new direction. This song and album slap hard.
