All the versions/renditions I've heard of Stop! are terrific of course, but the power and emotion of this one actually has my eyes tearing up. The most underrated musician/songwriter I can think of.

How did America miss Sam Brown? I discovered her in a Record store in Switzerland. I was totally blown away by her voice and songs. Why did she miss being a major U.S. star? She is just amazing.

She was RREALLY big in the 80swith this in Canada. Then again, so was Corey Hart and you don't know him. She was a backup for a lot of bands. Try Pink Floyd Great gig in the Sky, the later versions..

Really I always though that her single - Can I Get A Witness will be one of the songs she was known for to.

You can tell she is shy in front of people. Maybe what held her back a little, because it sure wasn't her amazing voice. The hair on my arms stood up during that performance it was so brilliant. I hadn't seen this before now., so glad I have now.
