Emmy worthy performance by both ladies.
This episode was so sad. As lively as Bev has always been, I hate seeing her with dementia
Very true. But also speaks to how sharp Estelle parsons (the actress) still is in real life.
I saw somewhere that Estelle went up to the EPs or the writers and said, "This is such a great script!"
I'll be sad when Bev dies because we likely won't get to see Estelle still portraying the character.
@@msarzosad is, Estelle too could die any minute because of her age, it would be sad if she leaves the world before we could see more from Beverly
Poignant and believable performances by both actresses.
This is almost exactly how I found out my grandfather had dementia. The whole scene made me cry for everything my family went through

I just Saw one of the early Roseanne Thanksgiving and when Bev found out Jackie was a cop, I believe the truth came out.... She even turned on Roseanne
It is very sad to see the bev character with dementia. It really speaks to everyone who has had an elderly relative suffer from Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia…I know I have had to watch relatives slip away from dementia. But it also speaks to how, in real life, Estelle Parsons is still very sharp for her age and is still an amazing actress.

They wrote him off, as well as Dans other kid Jerry. In the Conners they dont exist and ever had
@@Viggatos So was that when we find out that Roseanne put that in her 'final' script? But then Becky's 'boyfriend' was really Darlene's. And this WHOLE SHOW is *MIXED UP* and TOTALLY confusing.
@@weirdthingstoeat7198 They just decided to mix things up when they brought season 10 around. Remember that Dan was revealed to have died from his heart attack in the final episode of season 9, but he was alive and well at the beginning of the next season.
Sad that the only close family member of Jackie's is her mother. Jackie lost her father (tho they weren't close, then her sis Roseanne. And, Bev's health is declining. Jackie is starting to feel lonely without her immediate family.
@The mysterious Miss X for some weird reason, the show acted like Jackie's child and Roseanne's 4th child never existed.
@@HarryPotter87 To be honest even if they did exist they probably would be an afterthought just like DJ. Personally I don’t mind. But If I had to choose which kid I would rather see it would be Andy(Jackie’s kid) over Jerry Garcia(Roseanne/Dan) 4th kid. The 4th child wasn’t needed.

@@whitneyfan9019 I guess both children were written in the script to accomodate both of the actresses real life pregnancies. Speaking of kids born during the first run of the show, Dan's younger half brother Ed Jr. (son of Crystal) has appeared as an adult character played by Noel Fisher.

It's hard to feel empathy for these characters after the actors collaborated in cancelling and killing off Roseanne.
They didn’t make Roseanne say racist stuff. Don’t blame them
The show simply needs to end. The Connors is no good without Roseanne. There's no shell if everybody's not aware of it anyone on February 13th she will be performing on stage again. Cancel this is the title I think you all need to get ready cuz Roseanne Barr is back and better than ever. She's not being held back by woke ball nonsense

The 2-21-24 episode was 'weird' to say the least! No way would you let a person go on a train alone that has dementia!
I thought on the show bev had already passed away. I thought that was how Jackie got the nicer for the lunchbox. I must be confused
Also kinda crappy they didn't even invite Bev to Thanksgiving. I was assuming Bev having dementia would come out at Thanksgiving, one thing I don't like about this new series, the holiday episodes spend about 2 seconds on the holiday
I love the connors. If you think the shows a trainwreck don't watch it, go get a sex life. The show is very down to earth.
this Season was funny loved it..I can't wait for Season 6

I love the Connors. Everything the writers have done with these characters is superb.If you dont like it, then dont watch.
This show is just one trainwreck after another. They ruined all the characters. I hate what they have done.
Yeah honestly, I get it’s supposed to be “realistic” but seeing david be a deadbeat, becky a alcoholic widower, darlene being forced to live in lanford and now this. It’s a little much :/ at least DJ seems to be living happily
Seventh Heaven was kind of like that itself. It’s real life, not a fairy tale.

Agreed. The writing is terrible as the characters not even close to the previous broadcasts. It’s like a bunch of rotting corpses.
