  • Following the old alignment of the Bridport Branch we fly towards Bridport, reaching to the outskirts of Maiden Newton.
    Sadly the low aspect of winter sun is not conducive to filming the route, but at least leaves are less of an issue.

    At 1:22 there used to be some concrete tank traps constructed in WW2 to the left of the line and I wonder if they're still there in the undergrowth.

      At the request of Jurassic Cosst Holdings Railway Routes has completed the entire line to West Bay. I hope to have this up soon. Keep a wstch

    Great shame this line closed. amazing how overgrown old railways become. The colour film on here from 1975 is well worth watching.

    Shame it hasn't been turned into an official cycle route. A couple of years ago, it was virtually impossible to cycle through, due to the condition of the track bed.
