The one thing i wished i would have done was made an easy way to know how to adjust my route AND score. I had to dump stops but i didn't know how it impacted my score.
all i knew is that i had to get Derricks from each region so i don't DNF so thats the only thing i managed from the road.

With Paul's Rallies, and the complexity of the scoring, you absolutely have to use his supplied score helper. Man I used it as much as I did Basecamp. As far as on the road, using the score helper meant using my laptop....Dave

Thanks for this Dave, good information. Do you find your point-to-point GPS follows the same route you've mapped into the overall route GPS? I often use my GPS for running the whole route for that segment and my phone (Google maps or Waze) for the point-to-point navigation and they sometimes vary. I don't know if it's Google maps vs Basecamp but am curious what your experience was.

In my experience, Point to point is always different, wish I knew why. I have also found that if available, Google will be better than anything my Garmin will come up with. I haven't had good luck with Waze, just don't use it enough im sure...Dave
