      Taylor Dupuy's Math Vlog Historical reasons I think. Cantor used/stated it without proof first, Schröder then claimed a proof, which was faulty, then Bernstein gave a real proof. Dedekind also proved it, before Schröder claimed to, but didn't tell anyone.
