Finally, thanks for the demo. This pedal might solidify as one of the better and more versatile ones. Even more at this price point. Respect to Tony for creating this filthy abomination!
Great review dude!. I thought the Fuzzlord HM-6 was versatile, this kicks it up a few notches. Those dip switches are cool too. I only just found out that he's across the ditch from us. Fantastic work @tonyPepers!.
Just a quick point... The Hyper Metal was transistor based on the EQ rather than op-amp, so the OG HM-3 was a little more subtle. Tony did a great job on this pedal none the less.
@DomeNightbearer To be honest I have not tested this pedal myself yet. But the HM3 setting sounded really good here. ruclips.net/video/xKbtQer2Y9s/видео.htmlsi=mfPx4mydN9ZY3fLC
Bro you always have great insight here as to getting extreme metal tones, any suggestions if this could get anywhere near an under the funeral moon era darkthrone tone?
@@mikerauter1859 Cheers mike! well from what I gather up to Transylvanian they used hm2's- but in the opposite application of chainsaw. Try dialing the eq into the low numbers, all way left even. What people perceive as a boost to the high end is more likely an absence of other freq's. :)
This company builds some absolutely killer pedals, this is very extreme and versatile.
Thanks for the kind words dude!

I see versatility, I like😅

Really nice pedal. If dialed in correctly and on the right amp, the HM3 setting can get that 90s USA deathmetal tone really well.
What amp do you suggest?

@@DomeNightbearer iam curious too. i still have the hm-3 wich i rarely use.
I played in a band with a guy who used a 4 input 800/hm3 and it sounded killer.
@DomeNightbearer It sounded great in another review, so I assume it depends on how its dialed in, and the rig, etc.
killer mate! The 66hz is mainly aimed at bassists I think. Absolutely a mandatory purchase for me!

@@sinistrousdiabolus thanks bro! gonna try this very soon, just love that ugly harsh piercing tone!
When you put the pedal into the interface what do set the input gain at? Is it different if you use it as a boost?
so that it doesn't clip 😅
Any plans to try the GCI Pariah? I have one incoming soon. Be cool to see the eq spectrum analysis you do on it.
nope, no plans yet, but maybe I'll find one somewhere someday 😅
@@DomeNightbearer kinda hard to come by right now. I snagged it used off reverb. I dont think they're restocking any new ones til later this year.
It came for the gasoline. Give it the Gasoline and your women and cgildren can go free
