I like your setup. I’m so glad you have got an Audio Technica record player and not a suitcase record player. Me and my family have the LP60XBT and we love them

Great video! We bought our record player used and it is SENSITIVE and breaking all the time. My partner loves to tinker with it to try to fix it but if it were 100% up to me I'd probably buy something new and reliable 😅

Love the enthusiasm. Good for you for pushing buying from independents. You deserve a proper amp, speakers and turntable though.

Move the speakers as FAR away from the turntable as possible. Increases the sound and keep vibration away from the needle. keeping them by the table means increased distortion in the needle which is very susceptible to vibrations. Never play with the lid DOWN also increases vibration . A cheap upgrade is cork and rubber pads to put under the table and the speakers. They run about 20.00 for 4 small ones on Ebay. I got two larger ones for under my bookshelf speakers . I agree about the Fluance Rt turntable Fluance is awesome for an affordable entry level deck. Great video and enjoy the music!!!

I have a Fluance RT-85, I highly suggest it when you want to upgrade. You'll need a pre-amp too, but it's great. Fluance makes an automatic one too, I think it's the 83? Anywho, great video! You're spot on with how to care for them. :-)

Love this video ! ❤ These tips are great! My tips for newbies would be not to let any creators discourage you from vinyl or gatekeep how you should be doing anything! Vinyl is meant to be fun and we welcome anyone who wants to join !

Last year I gave a friend of my from my church an Audio Technica LP60XBT as a late birthday present because she had a Jensen before and Jensen makes the same kind of turntables made by Victrola and Crosley but she likes her Audio Technica Lp60xbt a lot better

Please get some proper speakers, these are 25 bucks crappy pc speakers. Vinyls sound awesome if they are listened on some proper speakers. you dont even need an pre amp, since this model has one included. If you use active speakers then you also dont need an amplifier. Just get some Edifier R1280DBs for 140 bucks and they will sound a hundred times better.

Oh I’m fully aware! I just don’t have money for speakers like that unfortunately :(
