The titan build you ended up on is what I've been running since last season for pve. I finally got collective obligation this season and I can't wait to bring it into gms with that build. Great video as always.
I used this gun when Birthplace was a GM a few seasons ago on Warlock and it was putting in work. This was before the buffs it received. And I still stand by it as my personal unstop pulse of choice for that GM provided pulses are still an unstop option when Birthplace rolls back around.
Was using this thing while tryna help a friend get it and it’s definitely much better now. Was basically running an off brand divinity when I used it to apply weaken to caretaker for my fireteam. Was pretty nice running armamentarium with suppressor nades applying all the debuffs
Its friggin health on dealing dmg. No other ability functionally gives lifesteal like controlled demo. Devour helps ya run through ads but controlled demo lets ya tank boss dmg jus by shootin at em
I'm pretty sure while the champion or unstunnable boss enemies can't be suppressed, they still are "effected" by suppress for the duration and you can leech it still. I usually do that when I run all three debuffs, but I'd have to double check in case I'm mistaken.
If you spec into collective obligation it’s not even close. Obviously if you’re running a subclass that isn’t void then graviton is gonna be better since you quite literally can’t use collective obligation’s exotic perks at all but in its intended roll it’s easily better I’d say.
I've ran Collective with a Nezarec's Warlock WITH Child of the Old Gods, but with the aspect that gives grenades weaken. So if you run suppression grenade and hit something and kill something else, you immediately have all 3 buffs when you shoot 2 bursts at someone. It's easily my favorite Warlock build besides Necrotic Grips with the Weapons of Sorrow.
On Warlock I use Secant Filament as my exotic of choice because having devour on demand is pretty damn good and I can spec my mods differently. Like using reaping well maker to boost my weapon's damage a bit more. Its nice to run that exotic if you don't really care about what your abilities are doing besides giving you the debuffs. Its also pretty neat to have fragment wise as you don't need a devour fragment to get devour. For higher level stuff the boots are great too because they turn every gun you have into an overload gun. Linears 1 shot stuff champions for instance pretty quickly.
7:14 I personally find Bastion to work better than Offensive Bulwark because the grenade cooldown with Heart is quicker than the duration of empowerment, especially if you use things like Elemental Wells, Firepower, or Devour, so that aspect doesn't matter, and also thanks to Heart, your melee cooldown should be short enough that you don't have to worry about reproccing Overshields with your uncharged melee usually, and if you do, your barricade fills that time just fine now It also doubles as healing in endgame content (and since it's overshields, it stacks with healing rifts), and when you're ideally popping many barricades, the extra utility is nice (may as well make as much use of all those barricades as possible!) As far as reproccing Umbral Sustenance goes, I use Devour, or the barricade to keep my mag topped off. This also translates better than Bulwark because you can do this any distance from an enemy, versus the other requiring you get close no matter want if you want this effect, which can leave you extremely exposed endgame All this said, I think this is personally worth the trade off of a single fragment as Echo of Instability and Starvation (and Undermining, but only if you insist on having all debuffs on Void Leech) are the only ones you really need imo anyways
still too much leech/unleech work for a 15% debuff, not worth an exotic slot to me. Why would I run this over a one-for-all pulse giving 30% extra damage?
Literally just use gyrfalcons with stylish execution , it makes the gun come from really good to absolutely broken . My build for it is Stylish execution Invisible dodge reaping wellmaker Font of might x3 Font of time dilation Elemental armaments Gyrfalcons Taipan-FR Use what ever primary you want preferably a sniper like succession with reconstruction and recombination And the build allows you to constantly go invisible and deal serious damage with all guns and use what ever mods aspects you want
I quit playing after forsaken and recently came back. Is witch queen worth the money? I just don’t really know what to do so I just do treasure hunts and ketchcrash.
Campaign is good, Vow has really good weapons (the raid), the Strikes are pretty solid, and the there are a lot of craftable weapons you may or may not like or use. If you want all the content available, it's worth it. Witch Queen was/is quite good.
Another nice thing is you don't really need any armor mods. Just get the right void aspects/fragments on with a suppressive grenade and you are good to go for triple debuff mayhem
Love Collective on my Contraverse Warlock, I just run weaken and volatile. Infinite grenades, damage buff, health, ammo in the mag, weaken, and volatile. Just gotta remember to debuff an enemy with the gun as the leech runs out, then shoot the same enemy after the leech is gone. If I manage to mess up the rotation I’ll have my grenade back anyway, and can continue the chain. Very, very strong
I remember getting it in the first week Vow was released and was disappointed on how underperforming it was but after they buffed it it's quickly replaced outbreak as my new favorite pulse. Plus it goes great with my corrupt pyramidian voidlock look
Totally the reason why CO is my favourite weapon at the moment, especially on hunter with Gyrfalcon! The main debuffs you need is volatile and weaken and you melt everything, 20% bonus damage with void leech active and another 20% when coming out off invisibility on hunter! So good!
Precious scars is a good option for titans since you don't really need any abilities for the build. Sure you can get devour and it does the same as the health on kill effect of kintsugi but this way you dont need to put yourself in danger to pick up orbs in higher level content + you can help teammates out too
You left out one of the major perks of Corrective Obligation. Every time you proc devour it reloads your gun. This means each kill is proccing. So when this thing starts rolling, you can just lay on the trigger
I just recently got it from vow week and honestly had a ton of fun. I didnt bother running suppresor grenade because it doesnt do a lot. Just weakening and volatile felt pretty good. A decent just Elm Ord and font of might works pretty well too. Maybe some firepower if you are worried about it.
I liked the cooldown aspect because it basically made it a teamwork gun that worked by having multiple people run it, like outbreak, but I don’t know anyone else that has the gun 😔
i’ve been an avid defender of CO since it’s release, it’s a solid weapon for mostly PVE and even has pretty decent use in PvP within Mayhem matches.I haven’t used it that much this season but once I do more endgame stuff that requires pulse rifles, that will be my go to
How do you not use Controlled Demolitionist its the best aspect. Also Bastion is better too run as you never have to reload when you are behind the shield.
I think this gun could work really well with the void hunter kit. If you're doing things right, you'll often have someone weakened, and will have volatile rounds from echo of instability, and will be able to go invis from stylish sexecutioner. I think the best void hunter build is stylish sexecutioner and trapper's ambush with instability, undermining, and starvation for volatile off nades, devour on orb pickup, and weaken debuff on nades. So you can achieve a lot of grenade uptime with devour and some elemental well mods, thus getting volatile rounds, and you'll be weakening a lot of enemies by using smoke bombs on them. So even more weaken and volatile than normal, which is a fuck ton + some, since the baseline is a fuck ton. I don't know if it would be worth running instead of deafening whisper and/or another exotic, but you could at least get a LOT of benefits from it if you were so inclined.
Highly recommend gun for all content, I've done so much with it on warlock void 3.0 and it is so SO STRONG. Happy to see it get the attention it deserves.
I used this gun during day 1 Kingsfall. Best decision I made. I think I went with Nezarecs or double scatter grenades, but it didn’t really matter. Pair it with a void linear fusion, and a special weapon, I went with a slug shotty, those are pretty underrated, and you’re good. I went with devour and child, and just ignored Suppression. Didn’t really need it with how quickly things died.
This exotic should’ve been a quest, and the glaive, which is LITERALLY UNIQUE TO RHULK, should’ve been the raid exotic. Yeah, we’d have a lot of exotic glaives, but imagine a Lubrae’s Ruin that on full charge lets you do Rhulk’s glaive dash. That would’ve been cool, not a gimmick pulse rifle that only works with one subclass.
I thought CO was pretty fun but kinda niche before the buffs but now this thing is definitely worth using. I love Void Warlock so I'm absolutely gonna run this more.
I'd say for more casual content just focus on keeping up Volatile since that on it's own is enough to chain kill everything with swapping between having Volatile Rounds active from Echo of Instability and then flicking on Void Leech once that runs out to keep the Volatile chain going, and then treat the other buffs as more of an added bonus.
If I had this exotic, I'd run a Secant Filaments build with it. Aspects: Grenade: Chaos Accelerant, Child of the old Gods Vortex/Scatter/Suppresor Fragments: Instability, Provision, and Persistence Combat mods: Taking charge, Elemental Ordnance, Elemental Charge, High Energy Fire, and Super Charged (Optional; Solar Affinity)
Also if you're using orbs to give you devour you could just use taking charge and high energy fire, its only a 20% buff but it's also simple since you are already making orbs for devour
yeah, warlock with contraverse is really good, in all difficulties. With the right build you have a 100% grenade uptime due to it coming back 100% every time. So a grenade spam build that works everywhere (except pvp) and requires almost no setup (the setup being doing kills with the vortex, very hard, i know)
honestly, in high level GM content being able to suppress everything with a primary feels pretty good. it is funny just how behind the curve this gun was though that it required a 50% duration buff, a 20% damage buff and removing its cooldown just to be playable.

i want you to capture garden birds, dye their feathers and then make a wildlife video about the habits and behaviours of those rare, blue quality sparrows.
The titan build you ended up on is what I've been running since last season for pve. I finally got collective obligation this season and I can't wait to bring it into gms with that build. Great video as always.
I actually just made this build a few weeks ago, and it's been my go-to on Titan for a while now for hardcore content. Love this gun!
Was pretty nice running armamentarium with suppressor nades applying all the debuffs
no cap I think controlled demolition is the single most powerful aspect in the entire video game, astounded more people don't run it everywhere
No comparison to graviton lance? I’m Curious how the only two void exotic pulse rifles stack up against each other
If you spec into collective obligation it’s not even close.
Why is the diagonal line in bombardiers description so clean 😦
Blinds targets.
Scorches targets.
Suppresses targets.
So is it worth grinding VOW each week for this gun now???

I personally find Bastion to work better than Offensive Bulwark because the grenade cooldown with Heart is quicker than the duration of empowerment, especially if you use things like Elemental Wells, Firepower, or Devour, so that aspect doesn't matter, and also thanks to Heart, your melee cooldown should be short enough that you don't have to worry about reproccing Overshields with your uncharged melee usually, and if you do, your barricade fills that time just fine now
It also doubles as healing in endgame content (and since it's overshields, it stacks with healing rifts), and when you're ideally popping many barricades, the extra utility is nice (may as well make as much use of all those barricades as possible!)
As far as reproccing Umbral Sustenance goes, I use Devour, or the barricade to keep my mag topped off. This also translates better than Bulwark because you can do this any distance from an enemy, versus the other requiring you get close no matter want if you want this effect, which can leave you extremely exposed endgame
All this said, I think this is personally worth the trade off of a single fragment as Echo of Instability and Starvation (and Undermining, but only if you insist on having all debuffs on Void Leech) are the only ones you really need imo anyways
How do you get the glowing warlock helmet?
I am a Day 1 Collective Obligation Enjoyer. This buff pleases me greatly.
My question to you datto is why you weren't running OB for titan that way whenever you through your Barricade down it reloads the gun.
still too much leech/unleech work for a 15% debuff, not worth an exotic slot to me. Why would I run this over a one-for-all pulse giving 30% extra damage?
Literally just use gyrfalcons with stylish execution , it makes the gun come from really good to absolutely broken . My build for it is
Stylish execution
Invisible dodge
reaping wellmaker
Font of might x3
Font of time dilation
Elemental armaments
Gyrfalcons
Taipan-FR
Use what ever primary you want preferably a sniper like succession with reconstruction and recombination
And the build allows you to constantly go invisible and deal serious damage with all guns and use what ever mods aspects you want
There is one slight issue, that requires gyrfalcons not be disabled lol
@@alexknight81 truuee I haven’t played since it has been disable so I assumed it already was enabled
@@Botmini17 yeah, it has been disabled since the 15th of September iirc
I quit playing after forsaken and recently came back. Is witch queen worth the money? I just don’t really know what to do so I just do treasure hunts and ketchcrash.
Campaign is good, Vow has really good weapons (the raid), the Strikes are pretty solid, and the there are a lot of craftable weapons you may or may not like or use.
If you want all the content available, it's worth it. Witch Queen was/is quite good.
Witch Queen has been the peak of D2 storytelling thus far, IMHO
Witch Queen def is. The campaign is awesome and the end-game content is really good. Beyond Light and Shadowkeep are wait for sale dlcs
Tried it out in PVP today. Had two void titans on the other team. Really fun to throw their suppressions back at them.
Give it repulsor brase as a catalysts. On a unrelated nerf, revers the changes done to eagers edge.. Please ☹️
With how quick arc grenades can be returned on any class, riskrunner is busted is any content that doesn’t require champion mods
Another nice thing is you don't really need any armor mods. Just get the right void aspects/fragments on with a suppressive grenade and you are good to go for triple debuff mayhem
I loved this gun before the buff, after the buff it's my favorite ever raid exotic without question
Do you think exotic armor should be allowed to allocate stats up to the total roll of their piece instead of rng
Will never not find it dumb that lubrae’s ruin wasn’t the exotic for VOD, and instead a weapon to work with void 3.0. Massive missed opportunity
This should have been the seasonal, it has nothing to do with the raid
@@NobleVI_343 exactly
I remember getting it in the first week Vow was released and was disappointed on how underperforming it was but after they buffed it it's quickly replaced outbreak as my new favorite pulse. Plus it goes great with my corrupt pyramidian voidlock look
Totally the reason why CO is my favourite weapon at the moment, especially on hunter with Gyrfalcon! The main debuffs you need is volatile and weaken and you melt everything, 20% bonus damage with void leech active and another 20% when coming out off invisibility on hunter! So good!
This is the type of build crafting I like. It takes a bit of work to get going but when it goes it goes hard.
I finally got this weapon and now after watching this video I understand now how it exactly works. Looking forward to trying it out
Precious scars is a good option for titans since you don't really need any abilities for the build. Sure you can get devour and it does the same as the health on kill effect of kintsugi but this way you dont need to put yourself in danger to pick up orbs in higher level content + you can help teammates out too
Don't forget that titan volatile heals themselves and allies
@@mrpainface8515 only if they explode near you though
You left out one of the major perks of Corrective Obligation. Every time you proc devour it reloads your gun. This means each kill is proccing. So when this thing starts rolling, you can just lay on the trigger
When gryfalcon comes back, doing the finisher when invis also applies violatile around you. So don't need fragement or super for it
I just recently got it from vow week and honestly had a ton of fun.
What shaders is dattos hunter using 👀
Gyrafalcon’s is so much fun with this weapon. It was my main until they disabled it. I’ve been itching to pull it out again
Datto you forgot to mention that devour kills reloads the weapon fully
i’ve been an avid defender of CO since it’s release, it’s a solid weapon for mostly PVE and even has pretty decent use in PvP within Mayhem matches.I haven’t used it that much this season but once I do more endgame stuff that requires pulse rifles, that will be my go to
How do you not use Controlled Demolitionist its the best aspect.
I used this gun during day
1 Kingsfall.
What is the helmet on the Warlock?
There is still "Secant Filaments" which fits very good into this obligation build
That would’ve been cool, not a gimmick pulse rifle that only works with one subclass.
i hope more people catch on to this thing now. i love it
I thought CO was pretty fun but kinda niche before the buffs but now this thing is definitely worth using. I love Void Warlock so I'm absolutely gonna run this more.
I built this the other day and its great. I was going to experiment using this as sort of a div alternative for bosses and stuff
I think I’ve fired this gun maybe twice. It had been in the vault ever since.
Secant is the best for higher end PvE imo
you get devour (insta heal+reload) and overload and 20% damage buff even with leech inactive
I love running voidlock with this gun and a contraverse hold build
good to see people doing things and having fun ❤
I'd say for more casual content just focus on keeping up Volatile since that on it's own is enough to chain kill everything with swapping between having Volatile Rounds active from Echo of Instability and then flicking on Void Leech once that runs out to keep the Volatile chain going, and then treat the other buffs as more of an added bonus.
If I had this exotic, I'd run a Secant Filaments build with it.
Aspects: Grenade:
Chaos Accelerant, Child of the old Gods Vortex/Scatter/Suppresor
Fragments:
Instability, Provision, and Persistence
Combat mods:
Taking charge, Elemental Ordnance, Elemental Charge, High Energy Fire, and Super Charged (Optional; Solar Affinity)
I love the edit of ending the video with you getting smashed lol.
Also if you're using orbs to give you devour you could just use taking charge and high energy fire, its only a 20% buff but it's also simple since you are already making orbs for devour
I used up all my luck grabbing this on my first run of Vow...and now it paid off.
This might come in handy to consistently apply weaken effects on raid bosses with the new div nerf.
Shoutout to Warlocks getting near infinite Devour uptime with Secant, meaning you can go full activities without having to reload
yeah, warlock with contraverse is really good, in all difficulties.
