You can also mix metallic eye shadow into a corresponding colored acrylic paint and make metallic acrylic paint.

For your giant Mod Podge container, you could try using a clear condiment squeeze bottle (Dollar Tree or TEMU) pour and cap. Useful if you’re separating mod podge for color sorting or add-ons. 😇

    I LOVE this video!!!
I've painted SEVERAL canvases and added glitter to them, but the glitter always seemed to "clump up" in some places while leaving other places bare!
But NOW, because of this video, I know what I was doing song---
I was sealing the canvas with the mod podge FIRST,
    And THEN adding the glitter!!!🥺🥺🥺
NOW I CAN DO IT THE RIGHT WAY!
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR SHARING THIS WITH US!!!

I've added holographic glitter to a jar that I keep a mixture of mod poge with about a 1/4" of water to thin it a bit. I use the gloss luster mod poge.
I've kept this jar refilled for years. I use the mixture on anything I make with paper. I've also mixed it with folk art paint. I decided to cover one of those clear plastic clam shells that muffins come in because I was going to make a box. I layered tissue paper and the mod poge paint mix and then added more glitter. In my impaitents for it to fully dry, I discovered that I could peel it off the clam shell and it kind of looks like parts of leaves when they dry in the fall. The tissue paper I was able to seperate looked kind of like washi tape.
I also tried pouring some of the mod poge mixed with glitter in some silicone moulds I made several years ago when I was trying out resin casting. Those I pulled before they were totally dry because I was afraid that I'd never get them out if I let them totally cure in the moulds. Those are really interesting because they are so thin and transparent. I think I'll probably have to seal them come this summer. Anyway, that's what I've done with mod poge. Actually I've used it for so many years now that when I've run out my work space feels not right.
I have to have at least one jar on hand at all times.

Thanks for this inspirational video. Sometimes not seeing a finished project means my mind starts to think of ‘how will I use this idea?’ The seed beads and all the bling ideas will add to my dragon book cover that has been waiting since I finished getting the egg shells down and the eye. This will definitely be the ticket to creating that cover with reds and blings for my granddaughter. Again, thanks for the step outs.

Thank you for the neat idea. The only troubling downside is the amount of plastic going into the landfills. The plastic eyeshadow containers for sure, but could be offset by mixing in glass containers that you can wash. Or maybe you wash the little plastic containers and reuse? That would help me to enjoy this more and encourage others to do similar.

Make sure the kids wear gloves and aprons because it stains big time. I used it to dye Easter eggs and got it on my hands and my counter and it took forever to get off. Days for my skin. Don’t use the one with sugar though. Get the ones in the little packets. Good luck.

❓Do you know if any of the various mod podges or combination of Modge podges would give me a safe way to seal custom crafts to put in an organic vegetable garden? Or any not much Podge products for that matter that are safe and non-toxic and I could use ? I want it for things like little decorations I make or custom plant labels ( various material types could be mix of plastics, wood, resin, metal Etc )I'd like to be able to seal them so that they're safe from Sun and rain but I don't want to risk leaching any nasty chemicals into my organic garden especially for food plants. It would be fun to decorate the garden but I don't want to poison myself doing it
