I've been using Dollar Tree's clear dinner plates for at least 6 years now. If one breaks, I'm not heart broken. You have inspired me to use the Mod Podge dishwasher-safe waterbased sealer glue version on my plates. I may have to buy more plates, and more fabric quarters! Thank you!
Hi Katelyn! I love mod podge! Years ago I mod podged a dresser using an old calendar. I really liked the pictures and didn’t want to toss them after the year was up. So I put them on my dresser. This was like thirty years ago. It still looks good. It’s one of my favorite pieces. I enjoyed the video! See ya next time, bye!

You could soak and dry the material in tea (or coffee) to age it for a vintage look…going to have to do that on the succulent bowl ….thank you for the idea…the sauce and plate is so cute 🥰

Some wonderful craft ideas! You're very creative. I especially loved the book page galvanized pail and the book page decoupaged onto the glass jar. Pro Tip - if you carefully tear the book pages (instead of cutting them out with scissors) before decoupaging onto your items, the end result is more professional-looking and high-end. Slightly jaggedy edges blend more cohesively into the item. A straight edge that is cut stands out more. If a cut edge has already been decoupaged onto the item, one can disguise the straight edge by gluing thin neutral lace or ribbon along the paper edges.
I like all the crafts you show here. I especially like the clear plates where you applied the material and also the wooden blocks with the photographs on them.

Just a small suggestion, if you get a large zip lock freezer bag and fill with beans it will make working with round objects much much easier.

They make outdoor mod podge that IS waterproof. I use it for what I want waterproof. You’re awesome katelyn. I think of you first when I search for crafts for me n my nursing home residents to make and every time I click a receipt into my fetch acct. lol.

You are always a pleasure to watch and so inspirational. Question: I hear there are various types of mod podge (regular, matte, waterproof). Which one do you use most and if I were to but a mod podge to use universally, which type do you recommend?
Matte is more versatile, and isn't obvious when it dries. Gloss will show brushstrokes and imperfections more, but it's nice to have as well. If you have both, you can experiment with mixing the 2 in various ratios to get a satin finish with whatever amount of sheen you like, and is especially pretty on glass.
