I can't find a single gaming review of these where the presenter isn't wearing a baseball cap 😂😂
Hahah, something aint adding up 👀
@@Unfilterd it's honestly a thong man...check out the first 7 or 8 reviews of them, all the guys wearing caps except for 1 bald guy. 🤣
@@ChrisBicourt1ahhhhhahahaja de I just got here after watching other reviews and I can confirm xD.
I can't find anyone wearing a baseball hat that isn't reviewing this headset
@@tom22333 hahaha that cracked me up!!
i just picked these up - they aren't bad - the software help makes the sound insane with the right EQ
Which EQ are you using?
I've recently bought the Steelseries Arctis Nova 7X due to it's multi-platform connectivity, the fact that it has a dongle ánd an aux cable for wired use and mostly, because of many experienced people saying it's a good headset. Sadly for me, mine has some issues and I don't know how to fix them (yet). Firstly, when I record a video on my PS5 and watch it back later, (EA FC 24) my voice sounds a bit elektronic during random moments every several sentences despite me lowering the mic volume to 50% or so because of the max mic level being too loud and my voice then making the mic pop. I haven't heard the many, many tech youtubers I watched mention this problem at all. The mic also doesn't sound like a 150 dollar headset level mic but more like a budget headset's mic. I've also used the Steelseries GG app's engine to adjust the settings, including the mic, to make them better based on tech youtubers' tips. The headset also occasionally loses connection with the dongle whether I use the extension cord with it or the dongle on it's own despite the fact that I'm only a couple of meter away from the dongle. My brother has the same headset and we use ours simultanuously on PS5 to make video's for ourselves and he has more of a static hiss when his headset is on while I experience more of a robot voice during every few words used in every few sentences. Does anyone have any useful solutions to maybe help make this headset worth it's cost?
Does this guy really think that one would be able to get audio connectivity by connecting the dongle to the controller...
Wichtig ist es einmal an den Pc anzuschließen und es zu updaten. Man kann auch am PC den Bass und alles einstellen und dann wieder an der xbox benutzen und alles bleibt gespeichert.
Great vid. Would have liked a mic test tho as mic quality is pretty important to most gamers.
Thanks! Check out my full video “top 5 headsets” the mic test is there 🫡
Can the Nova 7x connect to multiple devices simultaneously like the 9x? Or can it not due to the dongle?
It can
Which one should I buy? 7x, 7p or 7? I only want to use it on pc, but are 7x and 7 the same?? (excluding the fact that 7x can be used on xbox). Because if they work exactly the same its better to get the 7x. Heeelp meee 😅
Can you use the aux cable and the bluetooth at the same time?
These headphones echo on other people’s mic ALOT
His downside is the main selling point…
Can you compare 9x to these mine just broke and I need to replace them but they are still showing as having better audio compared to the nova. And would love to hear a in depth comparison
Did you purchase them?
I’m in the same situation did you find anything?
@@vycrumusverum7849i got the 7x artics. Very keen with it
@@vycrumusverum7849 nope. They stink. Been through 3 bands already????
I got these but when I have it hooked up to my ps5 and phone at the same time. The phone sound is low, does anyone know how to make it louder?.
Cool to know about the removable cups. 👌
Does xbox one x support wireless connection for this headset?
Yh
20 hours on 1 battery charge? That's not true. I've used these headphones on 90% sound volume for 35 hours without a problem.
Do you use it to play? I want to buy it for my Xbox Series X, and I would really like to know if it's good for FPS, especially for listening to enemy footsteps. Thanks.
@@Nacional-SocialismoThey are good on COD. You can hear where other people are well. The bass is very good. I’m impressed with the sound. They are light and comfortable. I think they are priced quite well as the next ones up are a big price jump. I’ve used Turtle Beach before this set.
@@DeadlyAura76 Cool! Thank you very much for your reply. I'll buy it.
@@DeadlyAura76 Hello. Coming back to say I bought the phone! I hope it's as good as you said, and again, thanks for helping. But out of curiosity, what model is your Turtle Beach?
@@Nacional-Socialismowhich one did you buy, im currently trying to pick between 7, 7x and 7p
I just got the nova 7 and I’m very happy with them. They are comfortable and don’t hurt my ears at all
I have been feeling discomfort from the inner ear is feels to hard and after awhile my ear start to feel sore
Anyone help please artic nova 7 are on sale in amazon but 7p and 7x are not so normal nova 7 are almost half price from the other two, i only game on ps4, does the nova 7 work with ps4? Or should i pay almost double to get the 7x or 7p
Does work on PS4 too!
i use this for the PC what is the purpose of the right side ear scroll? ive been adjusting it up and down and dont know what is it for
its for when u for example connect via bluetooth lets say your phone to talk over discord and your PC for gaming with both devices connected you can ajust the volume
@@NikolayRachev how exactly do you turn off the headset. I seem to struggle to turn off the headset
While on donggle/bluetooth, the volume is too low. HELP. I ddint buy wireless headset to use it using wire!
Have you checked the volume on your phone? Sometimes its set low. Just increase it there first
@@Unfilterd already. max 100. im using it for my laptop.
There’s a setting on pc to disable something to do with low volume can’t remember what it’s called
What about the mic quality, not even a sound test?????
Check my full video, this is a part of that
Does this have play pause function ?
I honestly hate that a downside for you was "need to plug the dongle in and have it on Xbox mode". That's a one time set up. Plugging it in. Sheesh.
In comparison to other headsets, which would just require usb stick or something similar, yes.
dude im on pc and the nova 7 isn't available in white , only the nova 7x and 7p are .....so is there any diffence between the nova 7 and 7x ?
No it’s just the color and the fact that it comes with different receivers. So for example you cannot use 7X for ps5, but you can for pc
@@Unfilterd thank you so much 💛
@@Unfilterdu can use the 7x for ps5 I thought
but could you use the PC one on xbox/ps5?@@Unfilterd
Can someone tell me how to disable sidetone on the nova 7x?
There is another dial other then the volume dial called the sidetone dial on ur headset, lower it to ur choice
only on the 7p@@SanskarPrabhu
Hi! First of all thank you for your video, I would like to know if Nova 7 P chat mixer works with ps5 giving priority to chat o game itself?
Thank you! Yes it's a wheel on the earcup.
@@Unfilterd Hey, i have a Question. Does the Arctis Nova 7P also work on PC?. I bought it new and im trying right now and its not working, maybe need to charge the Headset a bog
@@bestplayeruawest3846As far as I know it should work, just check the manual for instructions on the dongle. Probably don’t use the extend cable, just the usb c dongle
Sony headsets are the only headsets that support this feature, you have to adjust mixer between chat and game from your PlayStation
This headset is extremely uncomfortable. I wore mine for ten minutes and had to take them off. They also come with a sound limiter on which needs to be turned off on PC. I’m taking mine back.
What do u use now?
Is there a difference between the 7 and 7p??? Cause idk which one to buy and I need a headset badly
Except color scheme and the right adapter, no. So you could theoretically buy 1 and adapter later
Colour and ChatMix vs Sidetone Dial,
Astro a30 or 7x?
The a30’s have nice magnetic earpads so super easy to change. Look cool, but overall less comfy then the 7’s. Sound is pretty much identical although the a30’s win by a little. Padding on top is not so good on the a30’s though (long sessions at least). And you can get silicon head bands for the 7(x).
These or the Astro a30’s? Iv been trying to decide the last like 4 weeks helppp bro😩 I make my decision and will order this Wednesday!
It all depends on what you prefer, but I will name a few to make it easier: Comfort=Steelseries all day, Sound= Good on both, bass better on Astro a30, that earcup design on the astro a30s is really good, meaning to replace them. Retractable mic > clip on mic, so here also Steelseries better. For music Steelseries also, but for good bass once again Astro a30's. Astro also has that app to change the eq for bluetooth connection. Design, I think both look awesome
@@Unfilterd Thnks dude honestly!! Really interesting to hear ur take because in this vid here ruclips.net/video/TywigvS9LFo/видео.html badseed tech said he thinks that the Astro a30 are better for music than the nova 7s wow it’s really interesting to me to hear people’s different opinions I do really find it interesting , i will be using these mostly for entertainment purposes like movies and tv shows etc and some gaming but I do really want to get what headset I decide to get in time for the new Jedi survivor game which comes out next week. I do love immersion and bass but not too much bass like im so used to with all my previous turtlebeaches (Iv had nothing but turtlebeach) I think personally for me it’s time to not only venture out and invest in another brand but to convert to wireless and a high end gaming headset too as I’m so done with wired gaming headphones now even though I do love my newly purchased turtlebeach 500s which are pretty good for the price just have to deal with it being wired and no sidetone (which I really miss and learnt I can’t be without). Mannn its so hard I think I might just ever so slightly turn to the Astro a30s and get their new mandalorian edition a30s if u seen them since I’m a huge Star Wars fan also HAHAH🤣🤣 I think I will also go with the a30s since I heard in other videos that as they have leather memory foam cups they have a better immersion seal. But one question I wanted to ask bro which ones if you could say are louder or would you say both are equally as loud? Also that’s the thing why I also will probably get the a30s as I don’t currently have a laptop too so it would be very convenient for me for now..thanks bro for helping me make my decision!
@@Unfilterd and keep up with the amazing content!!! 🤞
@@Unfilterd which ones would u say are louder ?? 😃
@@buckseyboylouder? Hmm I think the a30’s, but it has to do with the eq, if you can change it like for smartphones, it doesn’t matter
Does this headset have sidetone adjustability? I am someone who likes the steel series side tone, But I haven't seen anything talking about if the new nova series has sidetone. Could you answer that? Thanks!
seems like its only the Nova 7p but the guy did say you can hear your voice in the headset. i guess the only way to know for sure is to try it out.
Yes, on the right earcup, there s a volume scroll for the sidetone adjusting.
Are these better then the 9x?
i think they are they are more durable
