    This album is part one of a two-part concept about a guy who is struggling with depression, solitude, his friends and family have abandoned him, and therapy and medicine are not working, so he writes a series of cathartic letters to the one friend he has in the entire world, but that friend never seems to write him back.
    [DISCLAIMER] My biological father is black, and I am biracial. Any use of the n-word in this album is for artistic purposes. I am not trying to offend anybody. Enjoy!

    Holy FUCK. I remenber when this album came out and it 100% ain't been 6 years since then in my mind. And damn, even after all these years, it still remains at the highest peaks of musical storytelling for me. Much love, man!

    It's possible I left this comment from a channel I ended up deleting, but I love this album for serving as an example of horrorcore being used well to tell a captivating story. I've heard different artists just use the shock factor of the lyrics in really lackluster ways without giving the songs anything interesting or meaningful to them, and I think this one avoids that beautifully. I never really grasped the FULL story, but from the bits I can remember, it never ceased to deliver that mood and weight with perfect pacing in my opinion. I love your music and admire your talent and effort, I think your projects are awesome "hidden gems" so to speak and I'm glad I found your channel when I did years ago. Just one of those cases where the recommendation algorithm hit me with something I didn't know I needed and never turned back

    I am not typically a fan of hip hop but this album is really something special. There is a certain quirk to your delivery which is hugely interesting, and the story is twistedly captivating. My favourite album of the year so far, I love it

    This record has had an unreal impact on me as a musician and a story teller, only became aware of your chops last year when I found Tallah. I've now jammed every Hungry Lights record, Call it Ego and now Prilly T... Fuck man, this album is something else. I've never been a huge rap fan but this hits so different. God tier story telling and atmosphere! Can't wait for part 2!

    Been putting off listening to this for a while and now I got to it. All I have to say after finishing the album is damn. The progression of Prilly's thoughts and feelings towards to his one trusted and true friend was a huge emotional rollercoaster that changed in every song until everything came crashing down on top of him in Silver Lining, causing him to shed some blood and go insane. Amazing Justin, I can't wait for part two since this was amazing.

      Evan Blake I am assuming that the lyrics of those songs are more brutal than Slamming Brutal Death Metal lyrics. Of course, I can only assume, as I can't tell what Brutal Death Metal singers are actually saying.

    This is probably my favorite Concept Album I've ever heard. I was able to grasp the story without reading lyrics sheets. Which is a first.
    I found myself feeling incredibly nervous or shocked at various points, and the instrumentals and vocal delivery all lent itself to this.
    Not only that but the songs were all genuinely awesome by themselves. Crazy Stuff. I love it.
    Is there any chance you could put it up on Spotify?

    I feel like these albums are all in the same universe because it looks like Justin wears what the character would. Like Prill and the peasent's clothing, prilly and the tank top and button up. Meaning they take place at different times, unless prilly is a cosplayer, but I doubt that. So that could mean that the Hungry Lights and Prilly T albums (slash stories) could take place in the same world but at different points in it's history. What got me thinking this? The piano you hear in the very first song in this album is the same as the orchestral bit in the beginning of the Heavy Is The Crown album/story. You could also think that either prill is then put in a bible like book at the end of his journey or prill is just a character like he is in this universe in Prilly T's that someone possible published. I know it's weird for me to theorize an entire universe from some music, but hey! Justin is gonna make books of these stories too! So there already has to be a universe concocted in his mind. I love how he gets in character while doing the vocal videos. But I don't know if he dresses like how he envisions the characters, or if one outfit is just his "metal outfit" and one his "rap outfit". Anyway, good stuff. Really good stuff, you seem like a chill person (other than Silver Lining on, jk) for the most part. cant wait for a new video!

      Zach Silby Oh Hi! Ive never seen this lol, so here I am a year later! Dunno if you remember but my theory was that Rudiff was all in his head. • @artosbear
      @artosbear 5 лет назад

      This album seems to be thematically spun off from Windfall to Hell, put in a mental illness modern day context..notice the ending of three gods and me is similar..Prill doesn't really feel fulfilled until he murders Reflaugh. "All the pain Reflaugh had caused him, so he brutally murders Reflaugh and Atah'xia, and in doing so, he finally feels free." Also- Prill/Reflaugh and Prilly T/Rudiff seem to be cognates.
