This is a concept album, but I am not gonna tell you what it is about. All songs composed, written, recorded, and mixed by Justin Bonitz. I also programmed the drums/piano. Synth MIDI and drew the album art. Mewzen from Tallah is on turntables.
🌀 Thank you so much for all of your support! 🌀

wanted to say this for so long , lol.
The japanese chorus in " the big pitch " is without any exageration or bias the best thing i've heared come out of a metal song in years

yeah, sounds about right. Justin has released music that is straight up therapy-applicable to different stages of life.
My absolute favorites lyrically have been the hungry lights albums, but this one in particular helped me through a very specific troubled time in my life.
Overall, Justin has released an array of music that has followed me throughout a long transformative process in life, and different stages made different lyrics speak to me.

Coming back to experience this album once more. Coming up on a year almost since it came out pretty fast, this album liberated not just me but us all. It got me through rough times then and now and I learn a lesson each time I listen to it. I love every track in this album equally but honestly the song that does it for me and that I favor is "The Big Pitch". I get tingles and goosebumps after the chorus ends and the drums come in so hard. Augh... That part right there is an earboner if I could describe it in anyway its just so simple yet so cold. Amazing art and personal journey Justin. 🤘 ❤

    Duuuude!!!
Your contribution to Bradley Hall's recent video made me check out Disillusion! Man, I am actually east german, and I never knew these guys even existed!!! It's a really good album! And weirdly, I hear all sorts of things that remind me of some other band or artist: I hear some early-ish Soilwork/In Flames (guitars), some Serj Tankian (vocals ofc), some early-ish Opeth/first-album Fair to Midland (production) and other stuff that I can't remember.
    Thanks for introducing me!
Also, I never even knew you existed. Will check out your stuff!
    Cheers!

I love all the ideas in the songs. One thing I think can be improved is probably mixing and real instruments (I know it’s a solo project so that’s kinda difficult). If it had a fuller sound and modern production, this album would absolutely pop off.

Boy, I sure do hope someday that I am so good at listening to music that complex tracks with programmed drums and keyboards are something that turns me off... Especially when a majority of bands can't get by without electronic assistance.
Meanwhile; Justin has multiple projects going on at the same time and this one just came out of nowhere.
I can understand that maybe you just meant it as constructive criticism, but you seem to be projecting your own preferences.
Stuff like this makes me wanna release music and refuse to takes suggestions like "it would be better if"-no. It would be better to YOU. I would still listen to it, but it wouldn't be as unique if it was mixed how everybody else's shit was mixed.

@新聞記者 i second this, it is kinda depressing that people think the "industry standard" mix is the only one that sounds good, especially considering that standard changes like every year
