- In this elden ring video I'm showing you a lore accurate boss fight between dragonlord placidusax and bayle the dread from the shadow of the erdtree DLC
To make this possible I scaled both of them equally with the same area scaling and HP

I was so focused on not getting grabbed by Bayle that I never noticed Placidusax’s two missing heads anchored in his neck
Weird thing is Placidusax appears to have potentially had 5 heads at some point.
There are 2 stumps inline with the two remaining heads but on the right side there is a stump coming from the front of the right forelimb.
I know his talisman shows only four heads but that could have been made after he lost a single head.
In the room where you fight the Godskin duo there is another massive severed head that looks remarkably like Placidusax, which if it is his would make 5 heads.
This could explain why the Godskin duo are in that room, they discovered the remainder of a god to skin.
@@Garviel-LokenI guess Placi lost his 1st head when he fought whatever was in his way of becoming Elden Lord (That's why talisman has 4 heads) and then he went to 1v1 Bayle
That head is also much bigger, so it may have been his main head.

@@Garviel-Loken could make sense that there's one head larger than the other as placis design seems to be based on a hand, so makes sense for a thumb to exist and it does seem that the stump on his left side is larger than the others
Their fight likely ended in a similar manner here. Bayle thinking hes gonna finish off placi only to have the tables turned on him.
Every time Bayle can parry golden fire from placi, but not the last 😅

Lore wise it's not even close, Bayle got shredded my Placidusax. Placi lost two head probably because Bayle ran away while they're still grabbing on his neck

I wouldn't hold my breath, Souls modding hasn't really done anything nearly THAT unique, the only thing they've been able to do so far is just forward porting pre-existing animations

Beautiful, but if the little bolts that appear when bayle phase changed actually tracked onto placi rather than the camera, the ending may have been different
Who knows, but after seeing the damage dealt by the lasers I'm quite sure Placidusax would have shredded him as long as he got to use them

Placi Ruin is IMO the most damaging attack in the whole game. Even with the heaviest armor+ defense talisman+ 2000hp, it will kill you if it hits. Only the bubble tear or bubble perfume will save you(but only the 1st hit).
The pre-patch Radahn and Placi was a beast👌.
