There was a cross over thing with FFXV and AC Origins. In Origins there was a few missions which ended with Bayek finding Ardyn in a tomb after being led there by a falling star. You get a FF sword and shield and a camel with some feathers stuck to it pretending to be a Chocobo.

Soul Calibur promises post-Renaissance Berserk-style dark fantasy; so characters from Legend of Zelda and Star Wars and Tekken are out of place. Really the only fighting.game.where nothing is really out of place is Mortal Kombat since it's all about dimension hopping.
Technically, all of the characters are actors and the games they're in are stories and gigs that they're cast in. Miyamoto even confirmed that Mario 3 and Paper Mario are stage plays.

No, Ganon is a malevolent deity. Ganondorf is some dude who keeps inheriting the ability to channel Ganon's power, much like Zelda is a girl who keeps inheriting the ability to summon Light Arrows, and Link keeps inheriting the inability to speak. Zelda's power comes from the goddess Hylia, Link's is generally from Farore, Din, and Nayru, and Ganondorf's is from Ganon. The inheritance comes from being intrinsically linked with the Triforce.

Beast Ganon does not show up until OoT at which point the timeline splits and every (game release) prior form of Ganon is the same beast from OoT. The games chronology does not match the release order.

On a work trip to Seoul, my colleague and I stumbled upon Taiko no Tatsujin in an arcade. It was an incredible experience, complete with enormous drums to bang on. It was difficult because the game was in Korean and we could barely navigate the menus. We played it so hard I wound up with a blood blister on my hand. I've been chasing that high ever since!

I'm relatively new to your channels and while I have been trying to marathon all your vids I haven't yet seen a list for something that I've been doing forever in games...maybe it's just me 🤔 If a game has any kind of collector/explorer vibe then at the beginning of a new level or area I will turn around and search. Not unusual to find something. You may think this has become extinct with open world gaming but I found this gaming staple in as recent as Gears of War 5.

No, Ganon is a malevolent deity. Ganondorf is some dude who keeps inheriting the ability to channel Ganon's power, much like Zelda is a girl who keeps inheriting the ability to summon Light Arrows, and Link keeps inheriting the inability to speak.
Zelda's power comes from the goddess Hylia, Link's is generally from Farore, Din, and Nayru, and Ganondorf's is from Ganon. The inheritance comes from being intrinsically linked with the Triforce.
@@austinknight5881 you are incorrect. Ganon is Ganondorf's beast form that was granted by the triforce of power, but Ganondorf was the original form. Ganondorf's reincarnations are fueled by Demise's curse on the hero and the descendent of the goddess from Skyward Sword. Beast Ganon does not show up until OoT at which point the timeline splits and every (game release) prior form of Ganon is the same beast from OoT. The games chronology does not match the release order.

On a work trip to Seoul, my colleague and I stumbled upon Taiko no Tatsujin in an arcade. It was an incredible experience, complete with enormous drums to bang on. It was difficult because the game was in Korean and we could barely navigate the menus. We played it so hard I wound up with a blood blister on my hand. I've been chasing that high ever since!

I'm relatively new to your channels and while I have been trying to marathon all your vids I haven't yet seen a list for something that I've been doing forever in games...maybe it's just me 🤔
If a game has any kind of collector/explorer vibe then at the beginning of a new level or area I will turn around and search. Not unusual to find something. You may think this has become extinct with open world gaming but I found this gaming staple in as recent as Gears of War 5.
A few years ago, me and my brother had a interesting discussion about what video game villains do when they are not being villainous. I can't remember what we decided in the end.
