I traded in my 2015 Monster stripe just like this one for the new Monster 937 when it came out in 2021. The 821 was nice but a bit heavy and clunky with a bad turning circle. The new monster feels like your riding an enduro bike it is so nimble and now with a great turning circle. Nice get up and go too.
Awesome bike! I've got 821 myself and I am very happy! Always put a smile on your face 😁 Where is the place you riding on the video? Very nice roads, perfect for the Monster😁
I got one for $5,200 usd with only 8k miles but it’s a 2016 and I believe if I were to trade it in I’d get a good amount back more than i bought it for but it’s got clear clutch cover a hydraulic clutch and a tail tidy kit idk if with those mods I’ll probably get less? Or perhaps I’ll use Facebook marketplace if the dealer won’t pay me the money I’d like
Yep, I'll miss it too. It was a great bike but it had to go as its time to thin out the collection. The R1 is cracking though and I'm looking forward to sharing it you all. Cheers mate, all the best. Ride safe too 😉👍
Thank you mate, glad you enjoyed! They are lovely bikes 👌 I use some super fine wet and dry sandpaper and then finish it off with some metal polish, brings it up a treat! 😎👍
@@SixthGearMotorcycles am gone pick it up next week ( on u tube lots off riders have that problem ducati change from cable to wire its also for the invironment) .happy new year from belgium .
Great review. I own a late 2014 model and I haven't noticed any issue with the rear brake. Was wondering how much engine vibration you found with it as I'm finding it quite tingly/slightly rough through the bars and footrests throughout most of the RPM range. Also when the fuel gets low the vibration resonates through the tank. My bike has done around 6.5K miles and is all standard and correctly serviced, so was wondering if the vibration i'm experiencing is normal or not.
Hey bro, I'm planning to buy a superbike and my priority is looks. I have decided that I'll buy a used Ducati monster 821. Can this bike grab that much attention, is it a head turner? please tell me

I own the same bike and the rear brake has been a pain for me. Nice to finally hear someone address a possible solution! Cheers nice video
Ah glad to be of assistance mate, hopefully it'll fix the issue for you 😎👍
Or I will just keep bleeding the brake every ride 😅
Haha its not the best setup right! 🙃😬😂
It’s a great bike
Nice review
Loves the bike, owned it for two years myself👌🏻
I can tell your a man of great taste! They are lovely bikes mate 😎👌

Excellent review! What type of camera and mounting bracket are you using to achieve the “hang off the side of engine” camera angle? Love that shot!
I used a Insta360 camera, mounted on a extended pole attached to the handlebars 😎👍
Sadly I've going to miss the monster but going to like the R1 is that bit more bhp lmmmm anyway you take care and ride safe TTFN

Great review mate, i love mine the new TFT dash is lovely also. What do you use on your exhaust to keep it so shiny?

what windshield do you have on there? I'm looking for one
Hello what exhaust did you have on your Ducati monster 821! It sounds great
Hi 👋 It's made by SP Engineering, sounds great, very good build quality too 😎👍
Hopefully getting this for my first bike a little worried it might be to much power what’s your opinion
I think it'll be perfect mate, I wouldn't say it's to powerful. Enjoy if you decide to buy one 😃😎👍
Too much, better to start on a 400✊🔥duke 390 or ninja 400🤙
Don’t need anymore power than this…..
traded it in for a R1 🤣🤣 congrats tho mate!
Haha cheers mate! 😆 I know, how bad am I? 😇 I don't need the extra power but it's nice having it 😂

Hard to say without seeing it myself mate but I think it’s kind of normal on monsters 👍

Your buying just for attention?

Tempted but sadly I've already swapped it 😕😂👍
