- With the Bestevaer 36 S/Y, we are sailing to sustainability. Together with Dykstra Naval Architects, the most sustainable options were constantly chosen in both the design and construction process. This has resulted in a long list of sustainable improvements: Electric propulsion, highly efficient regeneration, 70% recycled aluminum for both hull and mast, sails and running rigging recycled from PET, an unpainted hull, bead-blasted anti-skid, no antifouling but sustainable foil, no teak but thermally preserved European wood, no foam but insulation with spray cork.
In this episode we are happy to explain more about the yacht and sustainable choices that were made.
She is charmingly very tempting … Love the philosophy, her lines and the spirit. Now, I will play the lottery
awesome boat! Nachhaltiges Gesamtkonzept in Bezug auf verwendete Materialien, wunderschöne Linien und geeignet zum trockenfallen
Just amazing - nothing on the market comparable.
This is my dream boat.
That’s a great yard and design
Have followed Gerard Dijkstra since sailing Second Life in the OSTAR. Always so sensible and yet innovative. The best of Dutch yachting.
Very cool shipyard ❤
Fantastic ❤
my dream boat.
love the boat. Perfect size and amazing engineering 😍
All the best.
this is great. How will she be in the tropics i wonder? is ventilation sufficient?
This is the boat we have been looking for! Love it and your focus on sustainability. I hope there is place enough for bigger water tanks?!
We can always customize the ship for you or install a watermaker.
Begrijpen we! Er gaat veel tijd in kleine details zitten en alles is handgemaakt. De kwaliteit staat voorop.
Awesome boat! Only thing I'd change was at least 2 separate sleeping cabins in the interior. The single open space would be too open for my liking.
Why have you chosen mineral wool for insulation in this case instead of a material like closed cell foam ?
Closed-cell foam is a good option, but it is less efficient in its application since it comes in rigid panels and requires extra effort to conform to the hull shape and cover the stringers and web-frames.
love alu Yachts
Super Konzept
"PromoSM"
Impressive. Very impressive. But can you guys stop with these video's? Because I'm afraid the order-books are full the moment I have saved enough money for this one.
hèh?
