    brown roof state. And someone will say it is an ancient city. So people don't bring down their house and rebuild it when it get old? This is a typical sign of poverty.

      Some area are well modernized actually... People just love to point at the most ancient part of Ibadan that depict what Ibadan was before urbanisation.

      The man doesn’t know that’s also another reason why tourists go to Ibadan. Majority of those brown roofs have been there for over hundred years and still standing. Ibadan has maintained its cultural landscape over the years and also giving way to modernization. However you choose to look at it, Ibadan still remains that city that stands. You do not know better than an Ibadan person and so you wouldn’t want someone to rubbish your city.
