NAD has been a staple in my hifi systems since 1988. Top notch gear!
They bring a lot to the table Broch.. :)
In the future, gonna have to decide between this NAD, Yamaha RN-2000a and Arcam's SA35/45 when I decide to upgrade from my C 3050 LE. Have not too much bad things to say about NAD or Bluesound. Have heard NAD's implementation of the Eigentakt amp circuit on the C298 and was mad impressed back when I had it in house.
@@IRON_PANDA very cool 😎
If title ends in a question - the answer is NO, law of headlines.
Funny and click bait for sure. But seriously tho. This unit has already proved end game for many audio enthusiast. It’s not like it’s a new product, so I can without a doubt say YES, many folks could and will call this “end game”. Cheers and thanks for watching the video and being active in helping us with our charity work!! 🥰👍🏼👍🏼🤗🤗
Nice review
Informative
I generally like what NAD does and this unit in particular
Thank you! We had such a blast with this guy.. :) Sad to be sending it back
Superb piece of audio kit. I love my M33. Nice review.
Man, I am feeling ya bro! We had a BLAST with this guy..
You know qualitative retail.
NAD Master series is awesome.
We certainly had a great time with it.. :)
I still enjoy the nad m32 for several years now
BUT after several years, there is now one horizontal point line across the whole screen now. It seems several other NAD M32 are experiencing the same issue, which does not affect the sound, by chance!
The NAD M33 is newer and the screen is better so no idea if one day this production (programmation) problem would appear too on the M33... à suivre
Killer product, really amazing!! I prefer the M66 though b/c the power section of the M3 fell short with my maggies. But I loved all the rest of M33 in fact I'm saving for the M66 right now.
Those Maggie’s need some JUICE. 👌👌
Great take James. What an incredible piece.
Thank you 🙏🏼 we had some real fun with this one. 👌
New Audio Dimension… M33 is like a standard for Class D Amp.
Super cool unit.. :)
MUSIC PRODUCERS BEWARE! It's is a great amp acoustically, I love it. I have the M33 but the problem with NAD amps no one is talking about is latency! If you want to play anything live, like putting the stylus on the record, the gap between action and sound is seconds! So when I try to play some ideas in my living room for music production for example, the latency makes its impossible to use. So its only good for Spotify streaming or digital listening, anything analog or music production it falls apart.... not sound wise but timing wise.
I didn’t find that to be the case at all. Interesting.
It misses line out. Tape recorders are coming back strong.
HA…. That’s funny. 😆
Seems like audio manufacturers are currently focusing on nice displays transforming audio to 2 senses experience
I think some modern audiophile like screens. It’s a thing. Personally I would much rather have all that go into quality of parts and sound quality. But I get it, and it is kinda cool I suppose. Wise man told me one time, “if you don’t like change, you’ll hate extinction”. 👌
Speaker connections look tight. Can you use bigger spades on these connectors?
I can not recall, but the ones I have worked .
Great review…I know you did not mention, but did you happen to connect a tube phono stage? I’m supper tempted by this unit but I wonder what the TT sound would be if connected to a tube phono.
I didn’t. I’m sure it would do great. 👌✅✅
Hey James, just wondering if you had tried plugging those R700 you have behind you into the M33 and if you liked the sound. I'm planning on pairing this amp with some R7s and want to know if it would pair well. Thanks for thr video!
Hey buddy... I dont have the R700 they are the R500... :) But yes, a great pairing. :)
NO it's the end!.... Until the next upgraditis hahaha
Truth. 🤣🤣😊😊
9:20Atoll SDA200 is class AB, Atoll has no class D in his range 🥱
Yea. You’re totally right. Too many damn all in ones and hybrids rolling though here this month. 🤣🤣👌👌. Good catch.
But no usb input… 😐
As in all things Audio - Pro's and Con's... :) Never seen a unit "Have it all".... :)
@@abxaudiophiles I know. I’m just complaining just to complain. If I was spending that kind of money for the NAD, I’d rather get a Luxman or Accuphase anyway- and those come straight up analog.
I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Galion speakers! Cheers!
@@pongyang8705 I feel ya! 🥰😉👌
I want Dante in home audio. 😂 Imagine if a trinnov just needed rj45 to the power amps...
And all in one stereo gear need a HDMI through or better 4 in and one out. Don't need surround but too many cables to the tv 😂
@@annebokma4637 That’s true. Pretty soon “stereo amplifiers” will turn into modern day “receivers” again- and TVs becoming “computers” and streamers.
NAIM
Good stuff too. 👌
Thanks for sharing such relevant content to our community and charity. WOW. 😍😍😍
It's N.A.D. NOT Nad. F Y info.
Think S.A.E.. just letters. Not said as a word.
My life is forever changed.. Hehe
Eh....I was frequenting my local hifi shop in 1980, around the time N.A.D.'s 3020 and similar rigs were getting attention, and even though it is N.A.D. (New Acoustic Dimension), the guys who were selling it regularly referred to it as "nad"....it was just simpler. So I think either is ok (like my opinion matters).
Sorry it,s NAD for years now...
Check please their own home page... NAD Electronics
@@khoi83 I always see it a NAD.. Do we actually have to say N-A-D? 🤣🤣. Can’t I just say Nad… 😊😊
