Wrongly calculated. It's more like (5/6)(4/5)(3/4)(2/3)(1/2) = 0.1667 = 16.67% That is the chance he survived. Since 5 out of 6 were safe and then 4 out of 5 etc.
The odds of him surviving would be (5/6)*(4/5)*(3/4) and so on. You calculated the chance of him firing the nuke every single shot (and in your calculations after firing the nuke a firebolt gets erased).

Right after you have 5 shots total (because 1 is used up) 4 of which are good, so the next chance is 4/5. And so on. Then you multiply them all and get the 16.7% of surviving 5 shots.
