That Cavalcade used to be part of a pre-show to a parade. Apparently, it got pulled because Amy Adams wanted a lot of money for her likeness for the Giselle character to appear in the parks. I'm guessing they worked something out to have Giselle appear at Princess Nite and Amy got some royalty for it
Thought that too! Maybe they avoid that dress because it’s close to sea-foam green, and she could easily be confused for Ariel in it, so they rely on the iconic ball gown to differentiate.

I remember one of the older criteria for the Disney Princess line (prior to 2010) was that no CG characters were to be added, and that also meant no Pixar characters were allowed in the Princess line either.
Moana will be moved to Epcot once the new journey of water area is open. It’s something that Disney was planning anyway. Just she will get her own meet and greet area. Right now construction is ongoing so everything is on hold hence her less frequent appearances.
In October 2021, I went to Disneyland and had the weirdest princess encounter. Near Small World, Moana was out with the Disneyland band, AND CAPTAIN HOOK. They still weren’t meeting people but they’d pose for pictures and also dance to the songs the band was playing but it was so weird seeing these characters interact
I’d love to meet Giselle since enchanted is one of my all time fav Disney movies.. they should bring her back even if it’s just for an event. Like she wears the dress from Andalasia or she wears the blue dress she wears throughout the film
Honestly I understand why they don't really have Pocahontas in the parks anymore considering she's based off an actual person and real events that took place. It's pretty insensitive to romanticize what happend to Native Americans during that time and pocahontas as beloved a character she is just glosses over the tragedies that occurred with a few songs. She's not a character that should be at the parks at all tbh. But I would be nice to see them bring the new upcoming princess Asha

I hate to say this because they're missing a bet since they acquired the Fox film library in 2019: Have a special Disney Princess coronation ceremony for Thumbelina and Anastasia! I mean, just in December of last year, some official merchandise for Anastasia was introduced at the Magic Kingdom. I think several people would love to see Anastasia and Thumbelina there (myself included.) I know people would love to hear the songs "Soon", "Let Me Be Your Wings", and "Once Upon A December" in a fireworks show.
You wanna know the true rarest of them all Disney princess? Princess Eilonwy. With only one picture of her meet and greet as the park and basically 0 merchandise she is the true rarest character, not just princess but character. I know the movie is one of the biggest bombs in Disney history but just as a treat she should have been brought back for princess night. I also would have loved to see Maid Marion, Vanellope in her pink dress, and Tiger Lily.
What about the characters from Disney+ Original Movies from Pixar, such as characters from Soul, Luca, and Turning Red? They didn't have meet 'n greet appearances yet.
I went to Princess Nite on March 7 and I thought it was pretty cool! I met Princess Atta, Vanellope, Princess Leia with R2-D2, Kida, Mulan (as Ping), Sofia, Giselle (in a way), Princess Minnie. Princess Daisy, and Moana! I hope that in the future they being back Villains Nite because I reeeeeeeaaaaaallly regret not going to that.
Raya is the only walk-around character from Raya and the Last Dragon at the Disney parks. Still to this day, I am hoping Sisu will finally become a meet and greet! Well, next year is going to be the year of the dragon, so hopefully the next Lunar New Year Festival at DCA will be when Sisu will finally make her theme park debut!

Atlantis bombed at the box office so that’s why Disney doesn’t like using characters from the movie. They think it’s a waste if the money isn’t there. That’s why they gave up on the submarine retheme until Nemo did it for them.

The one time they had Sora it was for a paid event for an exclusive clientele and I don’t believe it was even at the parks itself. However rare showings of Mickey, Donald, and Goofy in their KH outfits have appeared. They are not allowed to even sell merchandise of it at the parks, unless said merchandise is of their owned characters(for instance I own a KH Mickey Disney pin that is official). So it’s not as if they don’t love Kairi they just aren’t allowed to show her or any of the characters that aren’t theirs from KH.

Disney owns Star Wars and Pixar therefor it is their characters that they can freely use. However I am of some leeway with their ownership, I will never ever say Anastasia is a Disney princess nor will I say Marge Simpson is a Disney character. If it was animated and created by someone working for another film studio first and 10 years later Disney buys it they own it but it isn’t theirs. I’m sure one day eventually in the year 3000 we would be able to say without jest “Shrek is my favorite Disney movie” because they will own it by then lol but they do not in any capacity own Kairi, Riku, or Sora. It is sad that we might not ever see them at the parks or anywhere outside of cosplay or Japan but we can always hope.🤞🏾 Yes it is always nice to meet a fellow Black Cauldron fan! The profile pins are very coveted because they are large, detailed, and there aren’t many of them in production this the LE and the rarer the character the harder they are to find. Like there is a LE Disney designer doll of Maid Marion and Robin Hood that I’ve only found 3 of for sale and I wants so bad! Oh you make art dolls too! We must become friends now lol I have a vast collection of dolls and I am a novice art doll creator though I haven’t done much of it in years because you need open aired out spaces and specialized breathing masks for it and I don’t have one of those things. To my knowledge Eilonwy might have had one doll but it super hard to find or no dolls and every doll I’ve seen is custom. A true tragedy seeing as Kida has had multiple dolls and recently an LE designer doll!
