- As I started editing this video about a trip I took with Edward Shin and Donald (Soft Roading the West) a couple of weeks ago. I started notice that it wasn't just about van life and camping, I started seeing how time was becoming a dominant theme in the video. Time and place I was with Wheeler, time spent exploring and living the Van Life with Meagan, Time that I spent with both Donald and Edward and the memories that were created. I realized this video wasn't just about good friends hanging out but how time plays such an important role in our lives and how important it is to take time, save time and make time. Everybody's lives our busy its import that we stop and smell roses and also be respectful of others time as well.

Time never does man. They are parts of our family. It's been over two years, and I still miss my cat. You can get another pet, but they never replace the one you lost. RIP
hard to believe its been a year since Wheeler passed. It's never easy as you know, and the emptiness will never go away. Enjoy that sweet Daisy, she melts my heart everytime

The beginning put me in tears because today is National Pet Memorial Day and showing wheeler hit home to the heart. Even with the hazy skies it was beautiful out. Always nice to be with good people as well☺️
I am the only caregiver to my 80 years old mother who is slipping away due to dementia. The few brief moments now when she "comes back" to visit are priceless. I miss the old days when she's always here. I miss her and my father who passed away 25 years ago so much.
The videography of music editing of Primal Outdoors is outstanding. The spirit of old west shows it all.
Wheeler caught my eye the very first time I started to watch some of your vids. What I noticed was he knew were you were at all times, he never took his eye off you, a true friend and protector, and he lives on in your memory,
Sweet Wheeler. Great cinematography on the location with the heelers then and now. You made us cry. It’s almost been a year since we lost our old man dog. You don’t ever “get over it”, the feelings just become more familiar. ❤️🐶❤️
No matter home much time passes, the love for our lost friends never fades. I lost my Heidi, from cancer, almost 6 years ago. Every day I still think about her. Cherish every second and memory with them.
Loved the segment about Wheeler and it made me tear up. Our dog(s) are family, and they are genuine.

It's awesome the way you make time for the dogs and aren't put out by their needs. Traveling with dogs is so rewarding, but it takes more care than you depict in the videos. I think it's admirable that you don't complain or grumble about those small impositions.
Katie, it definitely is a huge responsibility especially living in the van, there are definitely times I grumble from time to time.

Well dang. That's showing us how it's done...what a superbly crafted episode, complete with a bit of a tear-jerker there at the beginning. This was such an enjoyable weekend, even with things not going entirely to plan; truly a pleasure to relive it through your images and words. Just beautiful.

I really enjoy your videos. That’s a beautiful part of our country. At first I thought you acquired another heeler! I’ve had a few dogs in my 68 years. None compare to my cattle dogs. I have a heeler mix now that I got because he was no longer wanted. He’s the best. He’s my camping buddy. My heart hurt with yours when you lost Wheeler. They cannot be duplicated. All unique. They are the absolute best. Love everything about your videos. Cheers!

Camping with dogs makes the experience so much more enjoyable. I'm outfitting my 88 Bronco for overlanding and I pulled out the back seat and I am making a dog platform with storage under for our fur buddy!
Dogs do make good companions :)

Yeah, losing a trail partner can be ...harsh. My Susie passed away Father's Day ...aint the same. Empty mostly. Alters the Experience greatly. She always pleaded to go further and enjoyed seeing old friends and welcomed new ones...
