- In today's video we ride enduro on my ktm 250 2 stroke on some unknown trails and also find some hard enduro sections in the mud! It's the first time riding some trails on my dirt bike for a while. I miss enduro riding so much and I'm supper happy to be out again.

Kickstarter is the most EFFECIENT way to start your bike, thats why they should keep the kickstarters in the new TPI's. I know they add weight, but i'd rather to kick my bike than bump start it...

All the advice I can give you is just start slow and learn about the bike and how it handles. You will soon get use to it and start ripping. Welcome to the club my friend :)

I've got a 2004 dt125re that I've just done a top end rebuild on. I'm not a top rider but I keep up with my mates on their 200 + cc machines. You'll be fine on this bud. Planning a Wales weekend in month or so, would be good to meet up for a ride out if you're up for it.
I feel most comfortable on my bike standing up it will come more mate keep at it great watch

Hey MidWest. Have to ask, how come you sold your CRF450R for the KTM? You had a huge run on your CRF250R too, so how come you moved onto the 450R in the first place?
I loved the 250, great bike. I heard the 450 was easier to ride which it was. So easy. Basically a lazy mans bike but had everything I needed. Decided to go for the Ktm because I started doing more enduro riding so I needed the right bike for the job

Bin Stuntin yeah all sorted. It was the battery itself. It was dead, so dead it wouldn’t charge so I just got a new one

i do enduro on a race kit yz 85 and its the most fun ever, can stay in 1st gear the whoIe way. 2 stroke power = spraying your friends with mud
i think if you get more used to standing youll feel more comfortable because i stand up alot and seem to move more fluidly like rob does through the trails.. or lack there of haha.. but that might be the key to moving a bit faster and getting a bit less exhausted so fast :) much love

If you have had atleast a 125 four stroke go with a 250 2 stroke. I would take the chance to go to a bike shop and take a seat on in a few. Find one that your are more comfortable with and that should help make the decision. Good luck. 👍

great video man like always, im currently riding a wr250f which i love, but looking for an upgrade, torn between WR450f or a 250 2t, what do you think as someone who had a 450f and a 250 2?
I would go 250 but a TPI enduro bike. A normal 2 stroke would be a bit wild for me as I'm not use to a 2 stroke. but the TPI versions are very tame and feel a lot like a 4 stroke but super light weight compared to a 450. I can't see myself ever going 450 again if I'm honest. Once you ride a light 2 stroke you will be super amazed how well they ride in the woods
@@MidWestMX spot on.... I do miss the torque of the 450. I've got the 300 tpi. Plenty when you wind it up, and the 450 will climb anything, but as you say the light weight is wicked in the forest...... 🤘

Could the charging issue be that you couldn’t get on the power band in these trails? Maybe the charger is made for higher rpm ranges to charge. That’s just my theory.
I found out the battery was ruined. Drained so much it couldn't recharge. Had to buy a new one. All good now

bro all round by me in cardiff have been police about in are local riding area on bikes as some dickhead rode at people and hit there dog( check wales online news)+ no tracks are open atm+ im on a new bike to me so wouldnt let police take her from me you live in such a lovley place id love to have places to ride like you have man we always end up catching a chase so i havnt riding the last month😪
