I saw her episode and she articulated herself well. However, the men in that lineup felt she didn't have the aesthetic to make the requests she was making. I like her hair and outfit better here than on the show. You could tell she kept repeating herself they heard what they wanted to hear. She is a bit quick to be offended but she seems like a genuine person.
Women don’t seem to give other women actual advice; it’s all cheerleading because they in-turn, have to push a product. Ashley needs to simply say “maybe you’re the problem”. But if she does that, other women will stop booking sessions. It’s a tough game. 🤷🏾♂️
that whole forgot her name thing was unnecessary and pretty rude. if she's not a 3, fat or whatever people said in the comments, then why is she still trying to get on all these dating shows? she could simply go out there and compete with other women, and get the man she think she deserve. the best thing she can do is prove those men wrong.

I did find the video where she participated in the balloon popping game with a group of guys. Surprisingly, they were educated and well-rounded, which isn't usually the case in such games. When her balloon popped, she immediately asked if it was because she was dark-skinned, but the guy denied it, stating it was solely based on looks. Throughout the video, they were quite respectful; no one called her a "3". She also popped some balloons herself. She connected with one guy but mentioned she likes to be the alpha. Eventually, others popped their balloons too. I think her comments were misleading. Nobody called her fat. She asked them about their type, and only one guy mentioned preferring women who go to the gym, but he didn't pop her balloon afterward. No one said she was a "three". You guys should watch the video.
I think she carried herself well, set her boundaries, standards, and expectations from the beginning. #1 Never sway with you're values because that's when you lower what's meant for you. This woman talks way too much. This segment lasted 17:32. She talked for 16 of those minutes and didn't seem interested in anything the host said. That is a turnoff to most men. If that is part of her "strong" personality, she may never find a longterm partner.

Men are extremely visual and most are not attracted to obese women. We think it's unfair b/c we highlight our personalities and achievements, but those are no substitute. Humans likely evolved like this b/c how we look is a good indicator of health and fertility, for example obesity is an unconscious signal that the person has a metabolic disorder such as diabetes (which is mean disease, btw). There's also something in women called the waist to hip ratio, a 2:3 measurement excites males the most, and the sexier more fertile guys have a V shaped body. Of course as we age, our bodies move away from the unconscious ideal, but if we are young adults we increase the odds of a attracting a larger dating pool. Investing in a personal trainer and going to a dietician and working a program consistently is the healthiest way get healthy, otherwise most people end up battling their foodie addictions until their health declines. Good luck.
Oddly enough it seems like all the so called obese ladies/ big mamas are having the babies so that theme is off. I studied the body ratio in school and totally understand where your thought process is from but when it’s an obese dude ladies are told to accept them. We’re just a bunch of mean people that want perfection but we are void of it ourselves.
We need more healthy relationships period and may be off topic but older women love to harp on older men's ED but that's only due to poor diet and lack of exercise on the man's part lack of blood flow. So when you cooking all that bad and greasy food you feeding him remember that.
She has clearly explained. She has her views and it is not only her who thinks this way. In other cultures this is okay but as she is a black woman they are getting mad.
I think in the energy in the room made her "ride or die" comment worse. I understand why men could take it the wrong way. And the format of the show does not give her an opportunity to fully explain herself.
Any men looking for a ride or die are insecure about their capabilities. You shouldn't want your woman to struggle with you. You should work hard to make sure it will never happen, because she was fine without you. Don't make her suffer because she is with you.
Completely misrepresenting how the show actually went. The men outlined exactly what they meant by "ride or die" they even gave examples and said cheating or mistreating her AS WELL AS BEING A LOW LIFE DIDNT COUNT. Shes used to dating Pookies so she refused to let go of those examples and chose to die on this hill. 2 examples the MEN gave were if he lost his job or a limb would she be looking to jump ship instantly and she basically said she wasnt with sticking around for that either. Also not one man on the panel disrespected her in ANY way or insulted her looks.
Yeah, she's letting hating comments and dudes that women hating dudes get to her. Like keep it moving ma. Dude tried to shade you, you shaded him back good. F him. Why you still talking to dude still? Cmon now.

She is absolutely beautiful and explained herself very clearly and in an open matter. The problem is that even tho she’s so beautiful, men only see one thing when it comes to women. Shape and status. She looks like she has too much 💰to be easily impressed and they don’t think it’s worth it
Shes just not attractive and overweight.. so she's delusional if she thinks a man on the level she wants will consider settling for her when he can find a woman with enough discipline to go to the gym and not stuff her face all day
After watching a lot of these shows, men and women have very different expectations for mates. I see it more in the 20s-40s. The older men are pretty much the same, not much changed over the years.
for her to be a grown woman, she letting comments in the comment section dictate how she feel. The men on that show in real life in her face didn’t pop their balloon because of her weight. I have always thought the reality tv type of dating shows like the bachelor, ready to love, pop the balloon, those shows usually favour mostly people who society consider physically attractive. In reality dating is not really like that because usually with shows like this there are a lot of options to choose from at once and so the people who are considered conventionally attractive get the upper hand. Eh it’s def because she wasn’t the preferred looking black woman. And yes, colorism has a lot to do with it. But then again she’s also overweight. Not going to gaslight her about it, because those same men might date a white woman her size, especially if she had a good family background. I see it everyday lol
@@ninagrace-lee8323 Size and face are two entirely different things. I once dated a white woman her size because she had super attractive face. And just because she's thin doesn't mean she'll be attractive to everyone but she'll also prob say it's due to "colorism" if she loses weight and still gets rejected lmao. She talks ALOT ! How you ask for advice yet barely let Ashley talk ? I can only imagine how conversations with men go
she was upset because there was a couple of men. She was very interested in, and because they pop their balloon due to the ride or die comment. She just came on there to vent because she was upset. And then talking about her having a strong personality it had nothing to do with that or her weight. From watching the full segment, it was a veryintellectual conversation very calm collective and everyone had different perspectives on life and that’s OK. But she was upset and wanted to come on to Ashley to vent.
I got married before finding Ashley's channel. Now I know better! I settled and was drained. I'm getting my shimmy back now. There is always hope and we don't have to take crumbs anymore.
That’s sad that she was that desperate to go on a show like that. Those shows are very low brow. She seems like a nice lady but she definitely talks too much.
I remember this episode! Sis if you’re watching the comments, you came across SO well! If you’re not finding a man, it means it’s the WRONG environment. Let me just say, a pop the balloon show where everyone is consistently plugging their businesses and popping because of someone’s shoes is not going to yield the results. The right man who is willing to have an educated conversation with nuances is out there 🙏🏾
Right and talking about people calling her plus size. That’s a lie. None of them. Men talked about her weight at all.
In a room full of decent men, "ride or die" has a different context than what you may believe. Either way, that dude was corny with that name ish.
They wanted her to be willing to suffer for them. Sis ain't willing to suffer. I am so proud of her for not being willing to suffer for a man that is doing wrong.

Women can't handle rejection. The Bumble app toyed with this concept and failed miserably.

This one took a lot out of me lol i had to break it up in 3 parts lol. You can tell she was either anxious or didn't have someone to talk with to express how she felt about the experience. she kept going and going lol. I really hope she finds someone soon
Interesting…I’m going to go watch the video
I watched the episode, too, and she was misleading how she came off. There was a more chocolate woman who was so bubbly that no one popped.

Good luck.
Right! Alot young ppl are out shape that's men and women.
There are men who plus women and others that don't. People need to date who they like and move on. Everyone doesn't have to be your type.

We need more healthy relationships period and may be off topic but older women love to harp on older men's ED but that's only due to poor diet and lack of exercise on the man's part lack of blood flow. So when you cooking all that bad and greasy food you feeding him remember that.

Both of you ladies are BEAUTIFUL! I do think that the woman who went on the dating show, should tone up her body. Her standards are completely fine and I agree with her with the ride or die thing!
Meanwhile in reality she
may be able to get a man even before other ladies society consider more attractive. This go for men too. If he is not a certain height, doesn’t look a certain way or is not dressed a certain way women on shows like this don’t like them.
She seems lovely and I hope she finds love. She came across classy on Pop the Ballon. I think sometimes, some men see a women who comes across confident with boundaries and they just feel the need to ‘humble’…. Weird
Honestly, it was because she’s plus sized. If she were thin they wouldn’t have fought her on her preferences
This is very true like the slimmer you are the more understanding men are about what you prefer in a partner x
