Incredibly clean and sharp. Best live version I've heard.

Extremely tight musicianship. Superb live energy and dramatic arrangement. As a live performance, one of the best!

This is absolute magic! Never seen this performance before; much prefer this performance to Rockpalast too. Jack is in such fine form, as is the whole band. Great sound mix too. Thanks so much to the Bruce family for making these available. I long for every Friday morning now. Thank you.

Er ist einer der besten Schlagzeuger, mit dem Jack je zusammen arbeitete.
      Direkt nach Simon Phillips.
Dann Bruce Gary, Cindy Blackman Santana, Jon Hiseman, Cozy Powell.

    LyRicS
    I'm still feeling the ecstasy
    Out in the midnight air
I see lovers among the trees
    Wondering if you are there
You're not leaving much time for me
    It's such a sad affair
You call me on the phone and say
    You want to know me
You tell me you're alone and say
    You want me baby
You know I'm not the only one
    Playing at hit and run
    Hit and run
    It was another place
    And love was winning
    Now it's a different race
    Have to begin once again
I don't hear the same violins
    Playing out in the rain
I just see long black Cadillacs
    Cruising the streets again
You're not stopping me in my tracks
    Missing the morning train
    You've been working like hell
    Trying to sell yourself
    You've been working like hell
    Trying to sell baby
You know I'm not the only one
    Playing at Hit and Run
    Hit and Run
    You've been working like hell
    Trying to sell yourself
    You've been working like hell
    Trying to sell baby
You cut off all my love
And say that you own me
You cut off all my love and say
    You own me baby
You know I'm not the only one
    Playing at hit and run
    I'm not the only one
    Playing at hit and run
    Hit and run

    Jack is a monster!
Considering his fretless bass add more difficult to play, but Jack.
    Rest in Peace Jack!

Jack is fantastic here as always, of course, but a little shout out to lyricist Pete Brown who was with him from the Cream days, and helped keep his solo work of consistently high quality with meaty and superb songs, unlike say Jeff Beck, who was often much better than the so-so material he was playing.

This was arguably Jack's best band . They were all great .
He always had fantastic musicians in his bands .
Should have been as big as Eric Clapton .✌

Dancing On Air is at least just as fine. Listen to the bass "solo" at the end of the song!

      There's a Blues following.
If it's called "Soul Blues", I don't know.
