I finally found a great dupe (actually 2 of them) for the CT bronzer- it’s WetNWild Color Icon bronzer! They are exact dupes! Also- if you like CT’s more natural highlighter ~ Revlon Skin Lights is an exact dupe for it! CT has gotten way too expensive for such mediocre products. 🙏❤️🎄
I have both bronzers. That wet and wild one is definitely not a dupe for the ct bronzer. Absolutely not. I have both ct bronzers. The big single one in the compact and the duo in the film star bronze and glow. I have the light to medium. But neither is anything like the wet and Wild colour icon bronzer. X

My fave for 2021 was Milani's 430 Secret lipstick. It dupes Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk! Despite looking a little different in the tube, when swatched on my skin or worn on the lips, they're identical! They feel the same, wear the same, and they have the same finish. I have tried every dupe out there, except for Flower Beauty's Spiced Petal. To me, they just did NOT dupe CT's Pillow Talk. This may seem a little odd, but...that's okay. The holiday season can be really rough for some people, myself included. If you're reading this and having a rough time, know that you are not alone. One can feel alone or lonely even in a group of people, or you could be spending the holiday alone--that's me! And I have pneumonia, despite now being negative for Covid. For those who are looking for Black Honey dupes you should look into the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers (not sure off-hand which shade would be a direct dupe but I love and have ALL of them). It's balm quality is similar to the Chap Stick but less waxy, softer and creamier. Give these a try. YOU WILL LOVE THEM!!
Everyone and their mother likes the Sol De Janiero body butter scent and I also thought it was way too strong! Thanks for the suggestion of another similar one. Can't wait to try it!
I actually love the Sol de Janero bum bum cream, but I had heard about this dupe a little while back so I wanted to try. I tried the TreeHut yesterday for the first time. The smell is great and much lighter than than Sol de Janero, but I love it for formula and lighter scent. I have yet to try the scrub, but I'm sure it will be amazing as well. Hope it works as well for you as I found!!

Going to have to try some of these. I just can't justify paying the high ticket prices when there are so many great dupes. I remember reading an article many moons ago about how big brands like Estee Lauder has other drugstore companies that they also make just cheaper packages and marketing.

Back when I was working for Clinique, Revlon had a dead-on exact dupe for Black Honey in the Lip Butter line, called Fig Jam. I must have owned a hundred of them, because (at least, on me) it wore so much better than the Clinique one. I really miss those raisin-type colors!
I have Fig Jam! Two of them! They're a little gooey by now, but that's what a clear lip liner and blotting with tissue are for. And I apply those and a few of my other, older color balms with a lip brush. Two coats, with blotting between. Now if I could just stumble across a reintroduction of a lip primer stick that worked so much better than the ones I've tried lately...it was a plain, matte finish colorless stick by Vital Radiance, an old Revlon subgroup "for mature women". God I loved that stuff!

My favorite dupe for any Hyaluronic Acid product is the skin Nutritions 1% Hyaluronic Acid plus Vitamin C Serum from the Dollar Tree for just $1. It works great and they also have a Retinol Night Repair Serum that works great. I have used these products for a couple years now and I'm 62 years old and people are always saying that I really don't look 62 and that's my secret so enjoy..... I also love the Holy Hydration from Elf.
I've been using the retinol serum from Dollar Tree too and I had a dark scar on my leg since this past spring, barely can even see it any more since using it. No stores had any near me, so I ordered a case (16) for $16. Using it on my arms and legs too. I also have some brown marks on each ankle from the leather band from my roller skates from when I was 5. They are fading too. The only think I've changed is to use the retinol serum.

I just started shopping at Sephora and quickly came to the conclusion that my Ulta brands and drug store brands are far better and much cheaper. The only thing I'd buy from Sephora now is eye shadow palettes.
I've found that I needed help choosing new foundation/base colors as my rosacea has worsened with age. Although the lighting in their stores is deadly, the sales clerks know undertones, and they've been very helpful with returns. So now I've given up on true foundations, and the only product I need from Sephora is the IT CC Cream. And then only if some kind friend gives me a gift card, usually for Christmas. I find that if I'm frugal with it and use it only as a spot treatment on my red areas, the tube lasts me for about a year, so this is perfect!
@@MyCleverHandle have you tried the Elf Camo CC cream? I enjoyed it much better than the IT CC cream. And I believe it is only $16 for a really good size tube.
For another glossier skin tint dupe, Undone beauty has a skin tint that looks beautiful on the skin. I like it better than the glossier as it has the tiniest bit more coverage. The whole brand is lovely, highly suggest giving them a try!
Great dupes. I use the OGX Coconut Miracle oil lotion as a dupe for the bum bum cream, and the Juno and Co Moonshine miracle cream in place of the Magic Cream.❤❤
I second the OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Lotion as a less intense fragrance dupe for the original Bum Bum cream. I prefer the OGX scent & intensity level. I can’t detect the Bum Bum caramel popcorn note in the OGX so it smells better to me.
I recently repurchased The Ordinary’s foundation, so I feel good with that as a dupe because I’m now a sucker for the gingerbread Laneige lip mask. For me, it’s the best lip treat and treatment I’ve tried in … forever. It is one of my best finds this year, as is the Juvia’s Place eyeshadow primer. It totally blanks out my red eyelids. Also, I’ve gone almost exclusively into using eye crayons like the jumbos from NYX (Milk is a great shade) and liquid shadows because the smudge-and-go ease of them is fantastic. My husband switched to CeraVe from his higher-end products due to skin irritation and will never go back. One last thing. JP has a balm in the shade of Sweet Berries. I think it is a good Black Honey dupe. Doesn’t look the same in the tube, but on the lips it’s pretty great. Equally important; it feels great. And, it is on sale right now for $4.80.
Do not feel bad about buying the Laneige sleeping mask. The so-called dupes may be hydrating but the Laneige also is exfoliating. I haven't found anything quite like it and it's worth the price. I don't have to use lip scrubs anymore.

Oh girl... there is a spot on dupe for the sleeping masks on Amazon. Same consistency. That wet n wild one is different. The carenel lip night mask. You can get a big one or three small ones I've had the small one for months and barely made a dent in it. Only 9.99 for 3.
Hard Candy also has an AMAZING lip mask!! It's the "Behind the mask" lip treatment with Marilyn Monroe on it. Strawberry flavored and feels GREAT!!!! ❤💋❤💋❤

Thanks for the dupes. I love the Laneige lip masks, but the price not so much, my lips get very dry in the winter and I go through lip masks and balms like crazy so to not have to pay too much for it is a plus. I also love the Maybelline Lifter glosses, that they are a dupe for Fenty is a bonus, because the price and availability for the Maybelline is so much better. I thought the Nivea lip balm in Blackberry was much closer to the Clinique Black Honey than the Chapstick one.
Good to know about the Sol de Janeiro dupe! I’ve only tried a sample from a Sephora order, but it’s one of the few body butters/moisturizers that has transformed my inherently dry, cracked heels almost overnight. Definitely will be grabbing the dupe the next time I have to get a new butter! Also might try the Derma E moisturizer. My skin is combo/oily but I’ve found recently I’ve needed something more than my usual gel cream, especially with my eyes becoming drier the last few years and more frequent eczema flare ups.
I usually use the Bert's Bees lip tints but I'm going to try the Chapstick because there's no petroleum jelly in it. I have to be really careful with lipsticks, glosses, masks, and tints. Lotions and creams, too. Lots of them use petroleum, which I'm really allergic to. Thanks for this dupe! For all the dupes!
I think RETAIL manufacturers should be required to include the percentage of the active ingredients. For example a product that advertise retinal could be a mere .2%. Which is not going to do anything, except permit description to state that the product contains retinal…. A dermatologist prescribed retinol may 4-6% , that will for sure make a noticeable difference.. Every night I slap on layers of skin care. Cleanser, toner, essence, vitamin E, vitamin A, hyaluronic acid, serum, eyecream, eye serum and a lip mask… I should look like I’m 16 again😁 Does my skin look any different? Not really. More moisturized YES….Have my wrinkles and sunspots fade away…nope.😳 Like I was saying, if retail manufacturers (who are charging and making big bucks ) claim amazing results they should have to include the percentage of active ingredients on the packaging… Just saying….🤨

I read in one of the comments ( and I've been searching but can't find it) from a viewer who said that your favorite go to, everyday foundation was either from Elf (I don't know which one) or Wet n Wild ( don't know which one here either) but I really wanted to try it. My skin is very sensitive and dry, so I'm never sure what will work for me. Also, can you please recommend the best orange color corrector for those of us with dark circles. I've used all the other shades, but a salesperson at Sephora said the L A Girl brand was the best, and it's about $5.00. I haven't found it yet, but would love your opinion. Just felt the need to praise God for a moment as he helped me through one of my chronic pain episodes yesterday brought on by health issues. I love the wet n wild lip sleeping mask! I also use the watermelon lip scrub from wet n wild. AOA has some good lip masks as well! Only $1.55! The strawberry one is my favorite so far. I have tried the rose and the strawberry so far. Shop Miss A also has a colored lip balm. "Amuse Magic Lip Balm." Only $1!
I have searched far and wide for a really good lip sleeping mask. In my humble opinion, laneige is way overhyped for the goopy, bare-bone resulting experience that it is. The laneige mask doesn't even touch this amazingly luxurious alternative..(which, btw, is also a Korean product 🙌): *mamonde* *plum blossom* *lip sleeping mask* The price point is much more affordable, and your lips will be soft little pillows when you wake up. SERIOUSLY, such a hidden gem. Thank me later.

For someone who may not like the gummy bear scent but still wants the same great qualities that the leneage sleeping lip mask gives you this might be something you actually are looking for. The scent isn't really what matters anyway, it's the performance of the product.
I am obsessed with the bum bum cream (and their newer bom dia cream). I use one of them every night. Tarte sugar rush’s cake batter body butter is similar in scent. It’s not as good imo but it’s close. I know these 2 body creams are a splurge, but I won’t use anything else. 🤷♀️ I love the scents so much of those 2.
That Bum Bum cream is really good stuff but that scent is incredibly cloying and it never dissipates!! I loved the scent at first but when it just would. not. quit, I gave it away. I'll be checking out the Tree Hut option. BTW, ironically, The Ordinary's Serum foundation actually gives better coverage than their Coverage foundation. Go figure!! Excellent video as usual!

Im 53 years old and have dry skin well i found a product that has great ingredients CeraVe Moisturising Cream Pot with Ceramides for Dry to Very Dry Skin 454g as you can see it has loads of product and its only 18 euros I dont know what that is in dollars but its awesome. You know those days when you go to the beach and spend the day soaking in the sun then you shower and throw on a cute dress to go grab dinner? This is that feeling, that kind of day, in a cream. I love it and I will splurge for it. I will try the dupe but honestly I don’t think it will compare.

I love the original I have the Tree Hut as well. They are not dupes in my opinion. The Bum Bum is more of a true cream consistency, the tropic glow is whipped and I don’t find it as hydrating as the Sol de Janeiro. The scent doesn’t last like the original. The original lasts for hours on me and the tree hut scent lasts 30 minutes maybe, at most. But it’s a good one for day to day or just to avoid going through the original too quickly. It gives you a similar vibe just lighter. I do love the Tree Hut tropical glow scrub, I find myself reaching for that one over the sol de Janeiro one not sure why.

I love Derma-E products, BUT.. It's so sad they're loaded with essential oils and lavender 😔 I loved their DMAE moisturizer for a whole 3 days before my skin freaked out. 😢 Great products, but if you have sensitive skin you might want to pass. I wish they'd change that, because the other ingredients are fantastic!
I agree about the Charlotte Tillbury cream. It's good, but not great for the price. Now, I don't know if this is a dupe, but I fell in LOVE with the It Cosmetics confidence in a cream! I got it during the fall 21 days of Beauty at Ulta for half off. I felt like it performed just as well as the sample I got of the CT Magic cream. And I loved the slightly thicker consistency and lighter scent. I feel that even at full price, the It confidence in a cream is STILL a better value! I started running low and decided to get the gift set that includes the cream, a night version, a cleanser and an eye cream! It retails for $55 and last I checked is currently on sale at Sephora for $38! Definitely worth the money!
I also bought the IT cream during the 2 days of beauty at Ulta in the fall. I'm loving it. It's a great product for my dry, mature skin. I wear day it and night. I just add spf on top for daytime wear.
I agree with Wet n’ Wild vs. Laneige Lip Mask: I like the Wet n’ Wild one so much more, I not only use it on myself, but also on makeup clients: I put it on right after skin care. By the time I do lips on them, they are silky smooth and the color goes on flawlessly! And I’m always looking for the least amount of fragrance possible to put in my kit: you just never know what clients might be sensitive to. My favorite dupe for Clinique’s Black Honey is e.l.f.’s Sheer Lipstick in Black Cherry. Love it!
The Wet 'n' Wild lip mask is a great substitute for another high-end one that got reformulated (and ruined) -- the Bite Agave lip mask! It's the same consistency, and moisturizes just as well, even if the ingredients aren't identical to the old Bite Beauty formula. I love the grapefruit-and-mint one. My only complaint is that the pots are very shallow, so they get used up FAST.

My discovery was the Derma E peptide and Collagen moisturizer. Really lovely for dry skin, later found out it is like Drunk Elephants' Protini. For a daytime one for oily skin you might like DE Anti Wrinkle cream or their serums. That brand has yet to disappoint me knock on wood!

Burt's bees tinted lip balm in red dahlia is a dupe for black honey. I have both and they are the exact same color on me

Elf's Black Cherry is also a dupe for Black Honey.
Another good dupe is COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Tinted Lip Balm has 2 shades that are very close!

Agree, Sol De Janiero smelled great but wayyyy too strong for me. Gave me headaches.

I think the Laneige is pronounced LAN-NEJ. Like the word “neige” which means “snow” in French. No “joo” on the end.

Back when I was working for Clinique, Revlon had a dead-on exact dupe for Black Honey in the Lip Butter line, called Fig Jam. I must have owned a hundred of them, because (at least, on me) it wore so much better than the Clinique one. I really miss those raisin-type colors!
I have Fig Jam! Two of them! They're a little gooey by now, but that's what a clear lip liner and blotting with tissue are for. And I apply those and a few of my other, older color balms with a lip brush. Two coats, with blotting between. Now if I could just stumble across a reintroduction of a lip primer stick that worked so much better than the ones I've tried lately...it was a plain, matte finish colorless stick by Vital Radiance, an old Revlon subgroup "for mature women". God I loved that stuff!

My favorite dupe for any Hyaluronic Acid product is the skin Nutritions 1% Hyaluronic Acid plus Vitamin C Serum from the Dollar Tree for just $1. It works great and they also have a Retinol Night Repair Serum that works great. I have used these products for a couple years now and I'm 62 years old and people are always saying that I really don't look 62 and that's my secret so enjoy..... I also love the Holy Hydration from Elf.
I've been using the retinol serum from Dollar Tree too and I had a dark scar on my leg since this past spring, barely can even see it any more since using it. No stores had any near me, so I ordered a case (16) for $16. Using it on my arms and legs too. I also have some brown marks on each ankle from the leather band from my roller skates from when I was 5. They are fading too. The only think I've changed is to use the retinol serum.

I just started shopping at Sephora and quickly came to the conclusion that my Ulta brands and drug store brands are far better and much cheaper. The only thing I'd buy from Sephora now is eye shadow palettes.
Only thing I buy at Sephora is my favorite retinol undereye cream.
I've found that I needed help choosing new foundation/base colors as my rosacea has worsened with age. Although the lighting in their stores is deadly, the sales clerks know undertones, and they've been very helpful with returns. So now I've given up on true foundations, and the only product I need from Sephora is the IT CC Cream. And then only if some kind friend gives me a gift card, usually for Christmas. I find that if I'm frugal with it and use it only as a spot treatment on my red areas, the tube lasts me for about a year, so this is perfect!
@@MyCleverHandle have you tried the Elf Camo CC cream? I enjoyed it much better than the IT CC cream. And I believe it is only $16 for a really good size tube.
For another glossier skin tint dupe, Undone beauty has a skin tint that looks beautiful on the skin. I like it better than the glossier as it has the tiniest bit more coverage. The whole brand is lovely, highly suggest giving them a try!

I second the OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Lotion as a less intense fragrance dupe for the original Bum Bum cream. I prefer the OGX scent & intensity level. I can’t detect the Bum Bum caramel popcorn note in the OGX so it smells better to me.

I've found that a dupe for the ABH eyeshadow base is the elf camo concealer! plus the elf ones come in more than one shade.

I recently repurchased The Ordinary’s foundation, so I feel good with that as a dupe because I’m now a sucker for the gingerbread Laneige lip mask. For me, it’s the best lip treat and treatment I’ve tried in … forever. It is one of my best finds this year, as is the Juvia’s Place eyeshadow primer. It totally blanks out my red eyelids. Also, I’ve gone almost exclusively into using eye crayons like the jumbos from NYX (Milk is a great shade) and liquid shadows because the smudge-and-go ease of them is fantastic. My husband switched to CeraVe from his higher-end products due to skin irritation and will never go back.
One last thing. JP has a balm in the shade of Sweet Berries. I think it is a good Black Honey dupe. Doesn’t look the same in the tube, but on the lips it’s pretty great. Equally important; it feels great. And, it is on sale right now for $4.80.
Do not feel bad about buying the Laneige sleeping mask. The so-called dupes may be hydrating but the Laneige also is exfoliating. I haven't found anything quite like it and it's worth the price. I don't have to use lip scrubs anymore.

Oh girl... there is a spot on dupe for the sleeping masks on Amazon. Same consistency. That wet n wild one is different. The carenel lip night mask. You can get a big one or three small ones I've had the small one for months and barely made a dent in it. Only 9.99 for 3.
I have never actually tried the Laneige one, but I have tried the Carenel. It's good.
Yes! I use the Carenel one, I got mine on Yes Style. Even better, the Carenel one is cruelty free, Laneige isn't.

I love the Laneige lip masks, but the price not so much, my lips get very dry in the winter and I go through lip masks and balms like crazy so to not have to pay too much for it is a plus. I also love the Maybelline Lifter glosses, that they are a dupe for Fenty is a bonus, because the price and availability for the Maybelline is so much better. I thought the Nivea lip balm in Blackberry was much closer to the Clinique Black Honey than the Chapstick one.
Good to know about the Sol de Janeiro dupe! I’ve only tried a sample from a Sephora order, but it’s one of the few body butters/moisturizers that has transformed my inherently dry, cracked heels almost overnight. Definitely will be grabbing the dupe the next time I have to get a new butter! Also might try the Derma E moisturizer. My skin is combo/oily but I’ve found recently I’ve needed something more than my usual gel cream, especially with my eyes becoming drier the last few years and more frequent eczema flare ups.
I usually use the Bert's Bees lip tints but I'm going to try the Chapstick because there's no petroleum jelly in it. I have to be really careful with lipsticks, glosses, masks, and tints. Lotions and creams, too. Lots of them use petroleum, which I'm really allergic to. Thanks for this dupe! For all the dupes!
I think RETAIL manufacturers should be required to include the percentage of the active ingredients.
For example a product that advertise retinal could be a mere .2%. Which is not going to do anything, except permit description to state that the product contains retinal….
A dermatologist prescribed retinol may 4-6% , that will for sure make a noticeable difference..
Every night I slap on layers of skin care. Cleanser, toner, essence, vitamin E, vitamin A, hyaluronic acid, serum, eyecream, eye serum and a lip mask… I should look like I’m 16 again😁

I read in one of the comments ( and I've been searching but can't find it) from a viewer who said that your favorite go to, everyday foundation was either from Elf (I don't know which one) or Wet n Wild ( don't know which one here either) but I really wanted to try it. My skin is very sensitive and dry, so I'm never sure what will work for me.
Also, can you please recommend the best orange color corrector for those of us with dark circles. I've used all the other shades, but a salesperson at Sephora said the L A Girl brand was the best, and it's about $5.00. I haven't found it yet, but would love your opinion.

I love the wet n wild lip sleeping mask! I also use the watermelon lip scrub from wet n wild.
AOA has some good lip masks as well! Only $1.55! The strawberry one is my favorite so far. I have tried the rose and the strawberry so far.

I have searched far and wide for a really good lip sleeping mask. In my humble opinion, laneige is way overhyped for the goopy, bare-bone resulting experience that it is. The laneige mask doesn't even touch this amazingly luxurious alternative..(which, btw, is also a Korean product 🙌): *mamonde* *plum blossom* *lip sleeping mask*
The price point is much more affordable, and your lips will be soft little pillows when you wake up. SERIOUSLY, such a hidden gem. Thank me later.

I am obsessed with the bum bum cream (and their newer bom dia cream). I use one of them every night. Tarte sugar rush’s cake batter body butter is similar in scent. It’s not as good imo but it’s close.
I know these 2 body creams are a splurge, but I won’t use anything else. 🤷♀️ I love the scents so much of those 2.
That Bum Bum cream is really good stuff but that scent is incredibly cloying and it never dissipates!! I loved the scent at first but when it just would. not. quit, I gave it away. I'll be checking out the Tree Hut option. BTW, ironically, The Ordinary's Serum foundation actually gives better coverage than their Coverage foundation. Go figure!! Excellent video as usual!

Im 53 years old and have dry skin well i found a product that has great ingredients CeraVe Moisturising Cream Pot with Ceramides for Dry to Very Dry Skin 454g as you can see it has loads of product and its only 18 euros I dont know what that is in dollars but its awesome. I think the dupe smells the same, just not as strong. I love Bum Bum, but I also like the dupe.
I love the original I have the Tree Hut as well. They are not dupes in my opinion. The Bum Bum is more of a true cream consistency, the tropic glow is whipped and I don’t find it as hydrating as the Sol de Janeiro. The scent doesn’t last like the original. The original lasts for hours on me and the tree hut scent lasts 30 minutes maybe, at most. But it’s a good one for day to day or just to avoid going through the original too quickly. It gives you a similar vibe just lighter. I do love the Tree Hut tropical glow scrub, I find myself reaching for that one over the sol de Janeiro one not sure why.

I love Derma-E products, BUT.. It's so sad they're loaded with essential oils and lavender 😔 I loved their DMAE moisturizer for a whole 3 days before my skin freaked out. 😢 Great products, but if you have sensitive skin you might want to pass. I wish they'd change that, because the other ingredients are fantastic!

I agree about the Charlotte Tillbury cream. It's good, but not great for the price. Now, I don't know if this is a dupe, but I fell in LOVE with the It Cosmetics confidence in a cream! I got it during the fall 21 days of Beauty at Ulta for half off. I felt like it performed just as well as the sample I got of the CT Magic cream. And I loved the slightly thicker consistency and lighter scent. I feel that even at full price, the It confidence in a cream is STILL a better value! I started running low and decided to get the gift set that includes the cream, a night version, a cleanser and an eye cream! It retails for $55 and last I checked is currently on sale at Sephora for $38! Definitely worth the money!
I also bought the IT cream during the 2 days of beauty at Ulta in the fall. I'm loving it. It's a great product for my dry, mature skin. I wear day it and night. I just add spf on top for daytime wear.
I agree with Wet n’ Wild vs. Laneige Lip Mask: I like the Wet n’ Wild one so much more, I not only use it on myself, but also on makeup clients: I put it on right after skin care. By the time I do lips on them, they are silky smooth and the color goes on flawlessly! And I’m always looking for the least amount of fragrance possible to put in my kit: you just never know what clients might be sensitive to. My favorite dupe for Clinique’s Black Honey is e.l.f.’s Sheer Lipstick in Black Cherry. Love it!
The Wet 'n' Wild lip mask is a great substitute for another high-end one that got reformulated (and ruined) -- the Bite Agave lip mask! It's the same consistency, and moisturizes just as well, even if the ingredients aren't identical to the old Bite Beauty formula. I love the grapefruit-and-mint one. My only complaint is that the pots are very shallow, so they get used up FAST.

My discovery was the Derma E peptide and Collagen moisturizer. Really lovely for dry skin, later found out it is like Drunk Elephants' Protini. For a daytime one for oily skin you might like DE Anti Wrinkle cream or their serums. That brand has yet to disappoint me knock on wood!
