I highly recommend Lightroom over Photoshop for photo editing because you can copy and paste edit settings. This will save you a lot of time.
Definitely interested in the promotion and packaging part!!

Hi Mia :)
Finally found a pottery mentor which I can relate to. i'm a total newbie who started to take pottery classes. rented a pottery wheel this week, got my tools and got on the wheel at home. and then found out there is so much knowledge missing. so I looked around and found your valuable chanel.
scrolled to the bottom of the videos page and started to go over the videos one by one. they are a tressure! thank you!!!
Also you really show how much goes behind making and selling pottery! it's crazy!
That is a great video! It was very kind and generous of you to take so much time and put together such a thorough presentation of your process. Much appreciated!

Thanks for sharing. Regarding the editing process I recommend Lightroom or Camera Raw. It's much quicker and you can do a batch edit that would save you a lot of time. Cheers.

Great video! About shipping: who pays the state/ local taxes when you sell abroad? I am in the States and I’d like to sell to Europe as well, but I don’t understand how it works. Thank you so much, you make everything seem feasible and enjoyable. Grazie! 🙏

Hi, thanks for this video. What platform did you use to make your website? Thanks.
Hey, can you tell me which tests should I do at home before selling my own ceramics? Like food safety or thermal shock? It is necessary to try it out?
Great info! Thank you!
Would love to know about marketing when you have only 100 followers and growing your audience as a potter!
Very usefull information! thanks Mia greetings from Belgium.

Thank you for this. Affinity offers cheap photo editing software so close to photoshop, greate to use.
Very informative. Thank you
How long after you started pottery did you start selling your pieces?
Where do you have your kiln? In your home or outside shop?
So helpful, I will follow this ❤
nice sweater
Hi...thank you for this
Being that a website with a commerce option is expensive (Square space or like kind), would you establish a following before launching the site? If so, how many followers makes sense before starting a site?
Would it make sense to use ETSY until the following is established, then when an audience has been established drop ETSY in favor of a website?
If you have time, please reply
There are definitely some free or very cheap website options out there. But lots of people sell directly on instagram too. Yes it does make sense to have a following before selling. I don't have a very strong opinion on etsy. I think it's hard to stand out there.
shipping/packaging pls
What is the tree on your right called?
ficus elastica :) aka Rubber Tree!
Thankyou
Where do I start?
wowowow this is insane! I shoot everything the day before release and don't edit anything o.o
thanks so much
4:19 there IS NOT a single free option out there. even Etsy charges a continuous fee for having an active listing, with or without sells. you will always have to pay something, if not for the e-commerce platform, then for hosting.
Hi, Peanut!
are you able to sell anything
what's ur thoughts on etsy or shopify ?
shopify is good options
