This is wonderful. But at then end what exactly are you doing when you click option key between the text layer and right side of face? Can you explain more what menu options this is? Thank you again.
Really simple thing looks always better, can do so much thing with this, i already use the clippîng on my logo behind the text for a blurry effect, thanks :D
hey, at the end you said hold down o key or what and click in the middle of text to create clipping mask . so what key do we hold I really couldn't hear it proparly at the end last step ?
why can I not find a tutorial for doing this in illustrator anywhere on you tube or anywhere else on the web? Is it not possible to do this in illustrator? Please let me know
no you don't have to, it is just the way the original image I was trying to emulate was. Black and white would help the image to blend into the background better but not a 'must' :)
wow nice concept! What you can try is either raise up the saturation and brightness of the image layer that you have used, or duplicate the image layer a few times, try that :)
Thank you!! Great effect, professional, Simple, quick, easy to understand tutorial. I enjoy these soo much.
Thanks

I'm using a windows PC.. For the final step how do I get the inverted arrow
he says ALT or COMMAND / command is for MAC, ALT for PC. so you press that and ALT and when you click the top you will see the squared icon. enjoy ;)
Sorry, impossible to understand what you are saying JUST AS you create the clipping mask.
Same. on a Mac not Alt
clipping the text literally didnt work. I did it identical to how you did it. It didnt cut out the image magically like it did for you
Do we have to Desaturate the picture?
