Hi Iwan, this video was such a treat. The hotel room, wow, loved the wallpaper behind the bed. The little table with the round clear glass top and cream pedestal looked beautiful. Would be wonderful to create that on a budget, if one found a pedestal base which looked similar and added a round glass top. The breakfast looked sumptious good enough for King Henry the V111. I so enjoyed the architecture, gardens and window shopping. Your outfit looked very smart. So pleased you are having travel time and a relaxing few days with your partner. I managed such a trip once with my hubby for our 30th wedding anniversary staying in the Hotel Excelsior Venice-Lido. That was very similar and opulent with Marano glass lights in our room, your hotel reminded me of that place a lot. I think you would love it there and many famous people have stayed there, when the film festival was on. How excited I was to be walking in the footsteps of Errol Flynn and many others over the years. I smiled all the way through your Vlog, looks like an amazing place to rest up for a few days, enjoy it all.

When I went to Imperia in Italy we flew into Niece airport then took a train along the coast which passed Monaco it was the most beautiful train journey! ..I've never visited Monaco but one day I will as I just adored Grace Kelly who became Princess Grace , i would love to visit her resting place and to lay flowers! She was so Incredibly beautiful and elegant ...lovely vlog as always you have such a calming voice ...❤😊

That was a fabulous trip, the hotel room and view were amazing and I loved the trip to Menton. I think I'd find all that opulence a tad intimidating but you obviously know Monaco well and it was very interesting ; you always have an excellent eye for detail.

♥️ Menton & Monaco!!! Last visited pre pandemic but had really reasonable Truffle pasta for lunch in Monaco market and nice lunch another time at the café at the top of the Aquarium. Menton had best ever Steak Tartare!! Really easy to get around South of France on the train too!! Enjoy x
Nice dressing table... i went on a day trip to Monaco from Italy, and absolutely HATED it. The waiters ignored us and we never got served, people were rude, the casino staff were snobs and made us feel unwelcome when we queued up to go in with all the americans, horrid place. We went straight back to italy where people were kind.
Good grief Mr.C...arriving by helicopter...I thought you were auditioning for the next James Bond 😜 What a beautiful hotel. The entire place is so romantic😍 I remember flying into Nice, hands pressed up against the seat in front of me, the pilot spun us round over the bay and dropped us like a brick onto the tarmac that day🤣😂🤢... We also did a lot of window shopping, how the other half live hey?🤭 Hope you both had a great time x
