I know! My husband and I are too restoring a house. We tried a soda blaster last year on our cast iron heating registers and fell in love. 140 years of paint on those babies. After stripping one of them with paint stripper I said to my husband....we have got to find a better way! I have never thought about using it on wood however. Pro tip from Melanie Mel; if you have finished a base coat or stain, seal it! So much time saved if you have a boo boo.

I have never seen a drastic transformation like this….eveeeeeeeeeeeer👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Looking at the finished product it would have to be said ……No Way did it used to look like the before pic!
The presentation of your tutorial gave all the necessary steps to create this beautiful piece of furniture.
Painting then stenciling the unseen areas…….love it…..it showcases the usually ignored areas of the furniture perfectly!
Now I want to create my own piece using my logo…….so I have some research to do for my supplies.
I do have a three questions:
    1. when creating your custom colours…….how did you know how much to mix up so as to have enough for your entire project?
    2. what did your friend use to create the stencil.
    3. what was the diy wax you used.
    🥰

The Wax brand is Debi’s Design diary DIY wax 💯 all natural.
For the paint t’s just trial and error blending up small batches and then over estimating how much you’ll need just to be safe.
As for the stencil my friend made it on a some kind of large machine she owns. She only made me the stencil because this dresser was a gift for her daughter. Hope that helps good luck 👍

So I’m clueless on color and always astounded by you and other furniture painting artists, “so to keep it from being a gray color, I added yellow.” Uhhh??? What? Your color was exceptional. But how do you get to the place where you KNOW yellow was the correct addition? I think I get why it was needed (there was enough white in the milk chocolate to cause the caviar color to go grey. And I understand that there’s yellow in brown. But, why didn’t you add blue or red? - I’m asking an ignorant question, I realize. But I hope you can understand my lack of knowledge and answer me.

Beautiful furniture. I have two of those Panthers at home. They are from 1945 and are valuable! I was very excited to see that you have one, too. The other cats were cool, too.

Once again you recreated a beautiful piece of furniture. The Louis Vuitton inspiration was the perfect enhancement, you’re leather finish and details totally completed the look. Amazing and brilliant. Well done.
I learn so much from you, love the use of make up sponges for stenciling. Also that edging tool was very cool. I so appreciate your inspiration and wisdom. You just taught an old dog some new tricks. Katie
