very fair tier list. Side note: I feel that Gunslinger is one of the best secondary classes in the game. It provides value to most other achetypes, but it's not good at all as a primary.
I find that Challenger/Gunslinger with a %attack build with a % Att bonus on relic use is one of the best way to play but i have only put 150 hours into the game i didn not try other class
My favorite pair with Warden is Medic cuz when im in coop the worst thing that can happen to my team is that I go down, so I cant heal or revive them, considering blood bond works with the drone, when u have shield drone + blood bond u have 20% dmg reduction that bypasses the dmg reduction cap (doesnt get reduced, legit 20%), which is kinda insane, I can stay in light dodge and still be really tanky, still deserves the b tier, the other 2 skills are just unusable and dont go along with the warden itself.
very nice tier list, it is a sad to see the ritualist didnt make it to S tier but yeah i really enjoy ritualist miasma boss or mobs to death that i cant even see lol
I hope they buff heal and combat drone. Shield drone is pretty good but heal is a bit situational and combat drone just kinda sucks. In particular I wish warden was more active, because I feel like its optimal use case is just passively benefitting from shield drone which is a bit bland
I curious about what you think holds Ritualist back from being S tier because I think the class deserves to be S tier. The release of the class really opened up the door to take advantage of status effects which prior to its release people would probably stick to 1 element/status effect for stuff like Ravengers Mark, Abrasive Whetstone or Talismans of the Sun. Now we have the ability to do multiple status and not stretch ourselves thin in terms of damage potential. IMO Ritualist walked so Invoker could run.
I think as it currently stands Invoker and Hunter are more versatile with slightly higher potential, so while Ritualist is my current favorite I think it's just slightly behind as a high A tier
Meanwhile the Warden fits my playstyle perfectly. Apocalypse mode has become much easier for me since I got Warden to level 10 (and I say that as someone who barely beat apocalypse story mode at launch).
@mysterypie easy to beat once you make the right build that fits your playstyle. Like me I'm terrible at dodging so I made a tank medic build. Focus on healing while I let dot weapons do all the damage.
Gunslinger S tier All three skills are great and viable with the right build and weapons You can't play with bows unless you have the gunslinger Hunter x gunslinger is a no brainer and has no drawback against elemental resist. Though yeah it is arguable but definetly A+ for me or S
Man you definitely could put ritualist in s tier now. The infinite eruption build floating around is busted. Invoker/ritualist. Literally can ignore most bosses just hitting eruption because you immune to stagger while casting. Definitely can see a nerf coming.
@@JoPaWrites i mostly ran ritualist achon neck coil starshot since the dlc dropped. its so satisfying to see big starshot booms and big status ticks. it definitely has some S tier builds. though this patch, i think invoker should be in a tier on its own. its just that strong rn.
Pretty good list tbh, was thinking of doing a tier list myself, which I might end up doing anyway. In order to incite to dialogue I'll also add how I would modify this: I think that Medic, Ritualist and Archon should definitely be S tier due to the versatility and consistency they bring to the table. Each of them has several builds that can be argued to be the best in the game. I'd also knock down Handler to the top of C tier since it suffers from a similar problem as Explorer, it is a worse support than medic, worse enabler than Ritualist and worse tank than challenger, meaning there's almost no reason to run it. Also, I think that invoker should have a tier of its own (A-? B+?) or even be A tier since it does make for at least 3 very viable builds, one of them being a contestant for best build in the game (to my detriment, I am talking about Monorail Worm Hole). It is true that it's a very selfish archetype, in the sense that, regardless weather you're running it main or secondary, you HAVE to build around it in order to make it work, but that doesn't mean that it isn't powerful
Fair points, I don't personally like having too many S tier options so I tend to think of those 3 as high A. Handler might be my own bias because it was my first, all in all I'd love to see other tier lists too tho
warden in B class sounds fair. it feels like an all-rounder class but doesn't particulately accel at anything.
That's how I feel too

Yeah that's why I knock it a bit. Some archetypes can pretty much solo carry with how good they are

@@emmah5031 it's very good but I'd definitely recommend trying other things as well

Yeah my only problem with that combo can be lack of damage, but overall I get you and hope the other two skills get a buff
very nice tier list, it is a sad to see the ritualist didnt make it to S tier but yeah i really enjoy ritualist miasma boss or mobs to death that i cant even see lol
It was close and Ritualist is my current favorite, just others are a bit better overall imo

Yeah I agree with that
Oh boi, I do love dodging all the time to try to keep my invader damage from falling off
🤣🤣
Well invader as secondary with 0 cd build, it is like playing remnant 2 with god mode. Even when u are wearing no armor lol 😂
Invader can be very good it's just very reliant on other archetypes in a way some aren't
@@JoPaWrites yeah that is for sure 😊
The engineer is a hidden gem indeed.
Agreed

For survivability it can be very good especially with the right builds for sure, definitely viable

@@mysterypieit is just a build thing
The game feels broken at times
But one unlucky moment and you die or the instant death attacks
which build you think is best for hardcore clear to get Savior?
That shield drone is super good! Shit keeps you alive!
Shield isn't bad at all, it's the combat drone I don't love
Cant tell ya how many time the shield drone got in the way of my starshot and killed me 😅

Yeah I have it as A+ personally but can definitely see the Gunslinger S argument
Alchemist with brew masters easily S tier, Challenger is S tier paired with Hunter and the Bloom, can easily smack for 10k weakspot damage
I think they are very good but I stand by those being slightly below what I have in S tier personally
