The thing that stands out to me with the Clark x Adidas collab is that its two shoe manufacturers coming together and not just a collab with another fashion brand. That is something pretty rare imo, imagine if Nike would collab with Timberland and put the Timb sole on an AJ1.
@@frankchan5547 Adidas started as a Shoe company and later added apparel. Thats why i dont see a collab between nike and Louis Vuitton or Adidas and Gucci as a collaboration between two shoe companies, even tho gucci and LV produce shoes.
I would have enjoyed a question to her regarding whether or not the gender ceiling was broken or even cracked in that industry. She was in a minority and most of her stories were about the men of the culture. I just anticipated that dynamic to have more presence in the conversation.
Better get those lucky greens and they will sell out maybe not in the small sizes. Me personally love the black toe over the Chicago colour blocking or the red toe colour blocking. A UNC black toe wouldn't be bad either.
Welty’s hot take on big bubble air max 95s is spot on. You guys are asleep - JLP for the amount you rock 95s you should be completely aware that that bubble has been disintegrating since the switch in like 2004 - it’s really bad - look at where the air bag used to sit - look at where it sits now. It’s disappearing like marty mcfly.
Nike needs to retro some of the classics that are now unwearable like the Stash Air Max BW. They gave us the Bacon retro a couple of years ago so hopefully we'll see more like that but I won't hold my breath.
