The show was fantastic. It was mind-boggling to witness Welty's initial hostility and strong inclination towards gatekeeping, only to completely reverse his stance and advocate for sneaker reselling shops. It seems that the significance of sneaker culture and the sense of community surrounding it only matters until it directly impacts one's own personal interests.
I'm five years older than Anders and he is of my era and described it much the way I would. He is legit and definitely was outside. Another great episode, please don't end this season. You guys got real momentum.
I agree with Welty, The Balvin AJ3 is his best one. I was with Ander's growing up, if somebody copped a pair, you were off limits to cop the same pair or else you would get caught biting lol.
I have never felt closer to theses guys until the soccer shoe talk. I remember the Kelme and Lanzera wave. We Had Kelme jerseys my Senior year, but nothing was better than the Lotto Stadios. Copas were a very close second.

Being the sneaker snob I am I left them on the shelf, and grabbed the adidas Handball in blue and neon green. I made the right choice but missed out on a seldom seen shoe not many even remember.

My sneaker habits are very in line with the guest. Im from New England... we never liked wearing the same thing as everyone. I still rock Rod Lavers (you cant even find them in the OG colorway.)since everyone is rocking NB I dont wear mine nearly as much anymore. And I mentioned earlier I purchased some Adidas Handball over Workaholics Lakai in a Platos closet over a decade ago. The handball from adidas is nothing more than a Samba in different colors. Funny how it all comes full circle😊
Diadora Brazils came out with the red, Green, navy and black cleats in the 90s. Had all of them but the navy. Great cleats. Wish they would remake that particular cleat again
