    The guy in the first story is an idiot. It went on for 30 minutes. He should've called the cops right after he was followed out of his apartment complex, if not even before that.

      If even half of these stories are true, I apologize to all the Horror Movie Writers who I thought were idiots because there was "no way" anyone would do the dumb stuff people do in those movies... xD

    One thing I've noticed about the stories on this channel is that a great many of the writers make extra TERRIBLE choices. I'm literally screaming at my computer screen

    2. Don’t meet in such desolate places

    Again, #2, CALL THE POLICE TO CHECK THAT HOUSE OUT, that creep was clearly trying to herd you into his dark basement!!! At least let the creep know he's on the cop's radar!!!!!

    If someone is following you, drive to the police station. You can also call the station as you drive there so they can be aware and look out for you. Usually once they realize, they will stop.

      In summertime, broad daylight? I'm good with that, especially when I tell then how I have to go pick up my friend who lives nearby for an "important thing" so they know I will be missed if issues crop up

    The police in my town offers the use of the police station lobby as a safe place for Facebook Marketplace/Craigslist exchanges.

    Story 2, she should have asked the friend to drive their own truck for her to, A have someone know where she is going, B make sure she stays safe, and C to help carry the couch.
    If the seller wasn't a creepy person then she would have had his help loading it into the truck at his house, but no one to help her get it into her house from the driveway at hers.

    Remember kids: If you’re trying do business with someone (ex buying/selling something) and the buyer/seller doesn’t want to meet up in a public area in broad daylight

      Absolutely!! They either don't have the interest to sell or buy.
      I have never had an issue arranging a meet up and nothing is worth your life, safety or just the peace of mind!

    Story 1. Dude, the guy may have drove away but now he knows exactly where you live. You should never drive to the place you live when you suspect you're being followed.

    Story 1: Smart for suggesting meeting at a public place but never drive home if your being followed. Drive to a police 🚔 station 🚉 or somewhere where you can get some help
    Story 2: Weird? It was creepy 😳. She said she had a sketchy feeling. Go with it. Notice the red flags and get out of there
    Story 3: Always close your garage door and close and lock 🔐 all your doors. Never invite strangers over to your house
    Story 4: Creepy and Scary 😨 😳 😬 😐
    Story 5: Tim might have broke the TV 📺 himself and tried to scam him to get some money 💰 🤑 💸

    Wow, I use fb marketplace a lot and have never had any qualms about going to someone else’s house or having them come to mine. I’m worried now.

      Going to their house isn't so bad. Don't go after dark and alone is great advice. Make sure to tell them about how you have to pick up a friend or spouse right after, or about a half hour or so, and that the person is excited to see the new ____ thing you are picking up. Or some other easy way to let them know people know where you are.
      It's easy not to be an easy mark. It does take some effort and forethought

    Never go home when being followed go to police station or call cops and keep driving. Always screen shot the ad and the persons profile for when they erase ad and block you. so can tell police if need to.

    If someone is following you go to the nearest police station. Also never meet anyone at night to buy something. Always bring someone with you, and meet in a place you are familiar with.

    To the writer of story number 2... I think we all know what he was thinking. You may not want to admit it, but if you think a bit about the concrete basement he was trying to get you to go into then you will know what he was trying.

    In the second story, being a small doesn't mean anything. I'm 6 foot tall but I'm very, very thin. yet. I was able to lift couches over my head. While I work in good Will. I didn't work out or anything.
