Great stories and creepy. Like the guy in the hotel running at the clerk when he was confronted. You never know what people like that are going to do or if they have mental health issues.

Gas station where i live only have the walk up window at night. So these other gas stations where people walk in and rob em need to take note
Story#1 You see a guy get a crow bar out of the van and start towards your store and You Don't Lock The Friggin Door? WTF!
Fr. Like that man came there before and acted suspicious then the next time he gets a crowbar from the car and the person just stays and watches him come in. That situation could have been easily avoided.

Doors are glass, a crowd can easily break them. Plus, being frozen scared is a thing

@mukosolu2008 the doors are glass. Locking is only going to delay him as long as it takes for him to break them.

😮 Years ago when I was only 19, I worked third shift at a gas station, 11pm to 7 am. It was awful. There were way too many scary instances and on top of having deal with all the drunk, creepy and pervie customers, my boss a total womanizing azz-hole! I made it 3 months bf I quit. 2 guys came in drunk and threw a scary fit bc the beer coolers were locked. They threatened me and were about to attack me when a group of third shift factory workers came in. They left, but an hour later I saw them pull back up. I ran over and locked the door. I didn't give a crap if the boss got mad. I wrote a note saying I quit and why, left it on the counter, and as soon as those 2 creeps drove away, I went home and never went back lol. Never again!! Don't be afraid to lock those doors bf danger walks in if you're able to in time 😢

Many years ago, I worked overnight once and once only at a seedy motel. It took a while to convince my boss to let me because he was worried about my safety. Turns out he was probably right. A couple checked in around 1am. I wasn't paying much attention to the woman as she was standing behind the guy while he paid for the room. An hour or so later, the girl quickly walked out, not making any eye contact with me. I thought it was a bit odd but didn't pay it much notice to it. The man came down not long after and left and neither of them ever came back. The next morning, all these cops showed up at the motel. Turns out the girl had been drugged, held against her will and raped at the motel. It is something that still haunts me to this day and I wish I'd been more alert and suspicious from the start.

My last night as a security guard is tonight cuz the company I've been with doesn't know the meaning of security i guess. Stupid posts like neighborhoods telling people they forgot to close their garage door, telling vagrants to leave random places and locking car doors left unlocked by lazy salesmen.
I ain't lazy but I'm not a damn babysitter either😂

Why wouldn't you immediately call the police if you saw a guy enter your store with a crowbar?? If i even saw a guy walking towards the door with a crowbar I'd call the police, wth? Don't wait, it never ends well. 🙄
