Dude! I used 2 LOVE this cartoon way back when it 1st came out. I haven't seen it in ages, except 4 a little while when Toon Disney came 2 my cable box.
I hope somebody the original company releases the show on DVD/Blu-ray soon. The show is almost 25 years old, and if the company doesn't make any efforts to preserve as well as reformat and redistribute it soon, the original film will deteriorate away into oblivion, and those of us who have never seen the show will never get to see it. I have only ever seen (and recorded) two episodes of this show while it was on Fox Kids back in the early 1990s; this one and another titled "In the President's Secret Service," when Super Dave aids the President on a diplomatic mission to a fictional Latin American country called "San Caliente". I have still not seen (or at least don't remember seeing) the other 11 episodes or the special. I hope DiC or DHX releases the show soon so we can see the rest, and I hope too they include the life-action mini segments that ended each episode.
Fuji had to re-record most of his lines for this because an Asian council found his voice too offensive :) It really ruins the character for me though! It just sounds like he's trying to hide his awesome Fuji-ness...
Seriously? In the 90s? Seems like a 2020 type thing to do to change a characters voice so much. Way to PC for my liking. I fully agree does ruin Fuji’s character. What a shame.
Don't worry, there's many versions of these episodes on RUclips that keep his accent. In fact: There's more versions of this show online *WITH* the accent than versions *WITHOUT* .
If anybody might do more of these cartoons in the fashion of the batman sixties tv series it will be fine and dandy and I'm talking about the super Dave cartoons

Guess to those three collectors items you realy wanted namely 1the avenger by Paul Ernst voulme one justice inc and the yellow hord 2 doc savage volume13 brand of the werewolf and fear cay 3doc savage voulme73 Land of the long juju and se-pah poo 4doc savage volume48 red snow and death had yellow eyes and anytime you want to put your money where your mouth in collecting the sanctum pulp books anytime during the pulpfest if it comes to California daily city would be fine with me but none of those stunts of yours your old frend andy densmore ps I realy beat you to these collectors items

I only knew Super Dave from this cartoon show. I never saw his live action stuff until recently on youtube.
This is a reworked version of the episode. Fuji's lines were redone after complaints were made about his accent.

Mike Tyson tried fighting a gorilla that I'm gonna assume was around 600 lbs. Zoo staff refused him. Wisely.
