My first time seeing Super Dave - I’m 43 and from the Scottish highlands. I found the Bizarre show by accident this morning and I’ve been laughing my ass off since!
I found him about two years ago and feel the same way. I’m in England and have to tell you that I only discovered your very own “Limmy”. Some of his stuff had me in stitches. 👍👍.
Super Dave’s premise is what makes it so funny - a long drawn out scene of him over-explaining the stunt (or non-stunt) as the audience waits in anticipation of what will go wrong.
"oh that was unexpected ' He still makes me cry with laughter. Thanks for the tears big guy. R.I.P Super one. I hope your coffin is secured with genuine Saskatchewan seal skin bindings.
RIP. I loved watching Super Dave on Bizarre way back in the early 80's and remember how cool it was when one of my friends told me he served Super Dave (Bob) when he worked as a waiter in Yorkville. RIP Bob (Super Dave) and thank-you for the laughs along the way...
This is my childhood icon!! Used to watch him on Showtime in the 1980s. Hilarious to the end!!! I laughed until I fell off the sofa and hit the floor laughing into my stomach started hurting!!! Wonderful Memories!!!
Him driving in to shot shouting away gets me every time. I don't think Super Dave was known in the UK until Curb or Norm but i just love the guy now. What a legend.😂😂😂
Found a box of stuff I had stored away years ago. In a large envelope was an 8 x 10 of Super Dave, autographed, along with a hand written letter responding to my question about getting tickets to his show. Probably generated by an assistant, but I've been a fan since The Smothers Brothers and Sonny & Cher shows. I'm 60, and still love this stuff.
I remember watching this when it aired on TV, with my dad, and it's one of the few times I saw him laugh hard, I mean really laugh. Bob Einstein was one of a kind just like my old man.
Super Dave says he's not performing a stunt.. but I feel sitting on a little bench stapled to the roof of moving bus is actually the scariest stunt he ever performed :D OMG what a legend! #legendsneverdie 😎😎
Still gives me belly laughs 20 years later. Bob you were one of a kind. And you will live on in my memory as Super Dave and Marty Funkhauser forever. Not to mention Oceans 3. That was very unexpected.
Such a professional Super Dave was, even with the unexpected mishaps he'd dust himself off and got to work on another stunt. He is an inspiration for us all thats for sure. Officer Judy would be proud, even if he did pull over Liberace once for "Playing too fast".
Dave (ie) Bob Einstein was Albert Brooks brother…. Being funny ran in the family …. My late ex husband and had many years of fun and laughs with him and his wife Berta…. I miss Bob!!
I woke up this morning thinking about this show I used to watch as a kid so I checked to see if any of them are out there. I will be showing this to my daughter
When we had sleep overs as kids we always watched bizarre only for Super Dave., im only here now because I was talking about him to my wife, she'd never heard of him it's a sunny Sunday evening in England, and we've spent the last hour watching and laughing at super dave on you tube. 😀
My favorite stunt, boy I bet that hurt. SuperDave was the greatest hero the world has ever known No body has ever taken so much abuse to come back and do it again.
I was trying to find the sheets for this song. And i got Marty Funkhouser singin´and playing it on the piano, on the top of the bus, crashing into a tunnel. Im not dissapointed at all.
My favorite Super Dave skit, growing up! God bless you Dave (AKA Bob E.)! Thank you for blessing the world with your comedy and making us laugh and smile! RIP. 😭😭😭😭
I'm 34 and I grew up watching this with my dad. This is still hilarious. The voice, the character, everything...RIP my man. Legend.
I didn't even know he was sick.
I watched it with my dad too. (RIP) dad and SD.
@@dbsti3006 my condolences friend
I loved Super Dave. RIP to your father bro.
R.I.P. Super Dave thanks for the laughs
80's 90's movies he was the best
Jesus saves 🙂
Great show good old days
I loved Super Dave. I'm 52 years old and it seems all my memories are passing away daily. RIP to the King of the Road.
I know what you mean, but don't forget you can make new memories. Get out of your box!
I'm glad he was wearing a seatbelt.. 😍
Of course, it goes without saying that he's been strapped in with Genuine Saskatchewan Sealskin Bindings.
RIP Super One.

Me too. You should check the new trailer about his life I’ve just watched. Huge Curb fan.
I'm 43 as well and when I was a kid my old man and me would watch Super Dave. Then we would watch showetime boxing. Great times
I found him about two years ago and feel the same way. I’m in England and have to tell you that I only discovered your very own “Limmy”. Some of his stuff had me in stitches. 👍👍.
Way back in time watching Super Dave and trying not to wake up sleeping parents was a routine to bring the end to an average summertime night.
I've watched him long ago when he was still alive very funny guy we miss him
I'm 61, and I forgot how funny Dave was. Awesome.
I'm 6'2'' and I didn't forgot how Dave was funny.

Throw in some African coffin dancers too.
Hilarious, because it was totally expected. 🤣
RIP, Bob Einstein. Thank you for all the laughs.
Does he really died?

i wonder where super dave gets his ideas from
My guess would be Wile E. Coyote/Road Runner cartoons.
terrance stein they always use a dummy!
From the meat department in the beverly hills Ralphs!
Don't ever ask that again.
from his brother Albert Brooks
Rest in peace, Super Dave. Thanks for decades of laughs and memories.
Miss him too
I've waited over 20 years to see this segment again! Just as funny as I remember it, that ending bit :D

My Dad and I were big fans of Bizarre back in the day, and to us, Super Dave was always the highlight of the show. Absolutely brilliant!
And rest in peace, TotalBiscuit
Even though you how every one of these is going to end, with Dave getting destroyed, you still laugh your ass off when it happens.
That's what's genius. You hit the nail on the head.
Even though you know what's coming it gets me every time. Loved his brand of humor. May he rest in eternal peace.
This one's a freakin' classic!
RIP, Super Dave... you will be greatly missed.
(And, remember to go THROUGH the Pearly Gates, not around them...)
I agree that this is one of Super Dave's best scenes. The fact that it all piles up perfectly and lands directly on top of him is priceless.
The first time I saw this was a clip by Super Dave on Johnny Carson. I still crack up every time I see it.
One of Super Dave's funniest stunts! Rest in peace Bob.
The other one is the electronic race car.
This is my childhood icon!! Used to watch him on Showtime in the 1980s. Hilarious to the end!!! I laughed until I fell off the sofa and hit the floor laughing into my stomach started hurting!!! Wonderful Memories!!!
Saw this back in its day. Still as funny 40plus years later. Thanks for the laughs, Super. 😂
Rest in peace, Bob.
Been a long time since I've seen this one, and I still laugh till I cry.
this guy is a LEGEND. way to go the super one.
Great show!
This bit was the first time I saw Super Dave. I laugh every time I think about him. Thanks
I think the roller coaster was my first one. I've never seen the one where he spends a week up an elephant's ass. 🤣
Cracks me up every time... Rip Bob Einstein aka Super Dave Osborne!!
On the road again
I'm 72 and remember seeing Super Dave on Johnny Carson a zillion years ago. Just cracked up again now seeing it again.
Thank you for the laughs Bob. Rest in Peace.

If I remember right I saw this one on David Letterman back in the day. One of my first Super Dave experiences . R.I.P. Super Dave.
I love how this works EVERY time - Super Dave is great friends with Mike and Fuji at the beginning, but at the end, he hates them.
I love how Mike Walden uses old curtain material for his suits! :)
Very resourceful.
An irreplaceable genius. LOVE Bob Einstein. So sad he's gone, so grateful we were the recipients of his genius!
A great part of my childhood, thanks for the memories.
One of the great comedians, from the Smothers Bros. all the way through Curb.
Rest In Peace Bob :(

I loved him. I am praying he is going to recover from the cancer stunt. .. he always recovered, - I miss you Super Dave
The ending has startled me BIG time.. I had to replay a few times to realize that it has to be a dummy underneath that. LOL! Super Dave did it again!
Do you see all the people here commenting "RIP Super Dave"? He died making this video.
@@hooper1790 he did die much later in life, but not during this stunt

This skit is where I first heard this song when I was little. The. I’d hear it in car ads and think “hey, that’s Super Dave’s song!”
Never fails to male me laugh, I'll miss the big guy.
“The bigger you get. The harder you fall” a foreshadowing of Super Dave’s fate…😂😂😂!
Have a great day!

I must have seen this video a thousand times but it still cracks me up.
Of all the episodes this is the one that I always remember
I like how you can hear Dave's voice 200 yards down the road 0:26
Found it!!! The all time greatest and most musically entertaining death defying stunt ever, there is just one SuperDave the rest are simply dummies
My dad taped this for me when I was 6. I laughed so hard.
"In the words of that great lady Helen Regan...Nancy..." LOL
RIP Super Dave
That never gets old!! Laugh everytime....
Surprised he didn't mention the genuine Saskatchewan seal skin seat belt that strapped him to the piano bench.
What makes his skits that extra funny is his last minute expressions of "of fuck this ain't gonna work." sound he makes. Ha ha.
We will never forget and always remember . Remember those hard working prop guys who had to put a piano on top of a bus.
