Great content. I’m going to try after work but if you can edit things the way I think you can, you could approach it the way I do current Madden games. I start with the default opening rosters and just edit a real life Rookie to be my created player. That way, you don’t necessarily need to sim a season. But I love the idea of simming year 1 and becoming whoever your selected team drafts!
DooFNut I actually tried the editing of the draft class in both Madden 21 and NBA 2K20... I think that is definitely the way the go. I don’t edit any attributes though...only appearance, school, equipment etc. The only problem I have is that my 74 OVR SG got drafted by ATL and I’m manually giving him minutes. I prefer to just leave everything on Auto but if I did he wouldn’t play. Lol In Madden, my HB got drafted by NYG with Saquon Barkley being a 93 OVR. Needless to say I get 1-2 carries per game. Lol

You might have switched teams too late. For me when I switched teams and I had simmed to the summer league I couldn't. But I switched right after the draft and it worked fine
I would check the operation sports forums for Xbox rosters. I’d check there for sliders too. Nice thing about sliders is people usually post a list of their sliders to the forum. So if they made them for PS4 they are good for Xbox you’ll just have to enter them by hand. For 2k20 you might try schnaidts sliders.

They are two separate things. There is MyCareer where you have the whole story mode and then there is MyLeague which is a mode with no story that you can completely customize. Usually, if people play the games in MyLeague mode, they control all five guys. My video shows you how to mimic a MyCareer type setup inside a MyLeague where you control one guy and have a similar experience to playing a MyCareer but without the story mode or having to pay VC.

I wasn’t aware of it. I use customized settings and I haven’t gotten that far in my files. My guess is the only fix would be to edit affected players and going forward edit the progression and contract sliders
You'll have to keep an eye on the league transactions and the roster. If you are traded, you'll have to switch team control to the new team and set up player lock again.
You'll have to wait on the coach to put you in. It will eventually happen. You just have to be patient and make the most of your opportunities when they arise. I usually pick the worst team to play for,for instance I’m on The Magic’s now,kinda “rigged the draft” to get there (I drafted manually) So many option playing like this

For 19, you can check out the sim world roster. Check operation sports for slider sets. Most post the full set which will work on either system.

I don't believe so. Only what you can create with the create a player (CAP) features in NBA2K to use for a new player or to edit an existing player.
I think you can put your myplayer on a custom roster and just use that roster for the myleague file

If you hit up on the Dpad, it'll bring up your stats. Unfortunately you don't get a grade. Focus on playing well and wins.

Or you could wait till free agency is over and get a trade for the worse player
You could use the last player selected in the second round or even maybe use an undrafted player who was in the draft class.
How do I play only 14 games a season
When you set up your MyLeague file you can choose your number of games you want the seasons to be.
My player never shows up in player lock
Just pick a team normally and edit a player on it to be like yours 😂
