I freaked out when I got my first shiny in SV. It was a blue topped voltorb that could very easily despawn if I got too close and when I looked at its move set, it had self destruct. Quick ball really helped secure that one for me

I honestly really think that Scarlett and Violet might be shiny bugged because literally yesterday. I found 4 shinies, Golduck, Lokix, Sneasel, and Hariyama literally just yesterday. Some where even minutes apart. I'm not complaining but it's awesome! I can say confidentially now that is the best generation. I can't wait for the next I hope it's like this Gen but better.
Yeah the odds are insane due to the sheer amount of spawns, especially with the shiny charm. I’ve got two random shinies and they were both skiddo lol.

Pokemon Violet was the first time I ever completed the Dex and got the shiny charm (have been playing since Sapphire). So, I decided to try doing the Masuda method for the first "official" time (tired a couple times but never made it past 20 eggs). Got 40 Sprigatito eggs, hatched a shiny on egg 14. Got 19 Zorua eggs, hatched a shiny on egg 11. I can't believe how lucky I've been, but know fully well it won't always work.

I don’t know how you guys do it. Been trying to get the shiny charm since I do not like full odds. Granted I have collected three shinies so far

i have been playing violet for a week and i got a shiny dratini in the first couple of hours with a weak team and last night caught a shiny slowpoke which i leveled up minute later into a beautiful shiny slowbro and i have been lucky to have a shiny slowking(pokemon sword via max lair raid) to have the entire evolution line of dragonite and both slowpoke evolutions as shines
I got 5/7 future paradox forms, only remain iron treads and iron thorns. Btw all 5 shinies i got them without sparkling power and without shiny charm.
Pokemon scarlet and violet have a nice way to catch shinys full odds
One time while I was playing Violet I caught my first Veluza, and immediately after that a shiny one popped up. I named her Jet.

@@Anomaly09201 I’ve tried the outbreak method for hours, multiple days since I finished the game and I just don’t understand. There’s so many streamers that just got lucky and found one near the beginning of the game.
same, i haven't found one at all. But i probably missed them by accident
@@tismo3749 i tried outbreak no luck at all the only thing i do is sandwich power to encounter certain types i want i dont have shiny power sadly but i still get shinies like that

I had my best shiny luck in this game compared to any other I've played.
I got a shiny Scatterbug (which I got before I even got to the first town), a low-key Toxtricity, a Rockruff, a Meditite, and Elektross with Dragon Tera typing.

They probably thought shinies were a bit too easy to find in legends arceus so they changed it to be a bit more difficult. Highly doubt they’ll add the shiny sound and sparkle, but I’m still hopeful
